To the roar of his usuals Cheundong stepped onto the stage, lights catching and shining off him and his typically Korean outfit. He stepped to the mic, removing it from the stand. He caught Alyssa's gaze, dark eyes glinting in he spotlight. He twitched his eyebrow before turning the the rest of the crowd, his deep voice amplified into something unreal. "Hey, guys. I got something a little different your ya tonight. A little taste of my home. I want to dedicate it to a young lady in the audience, who let me show off to her, even though she obviously didn't want to so much as look at me." He winked, his chuckle low and warm.

With that introduction he nodded to the dj, and fell into the rhymes once more. It matched time with his heart, which was good. Better than good. Incredible. The energy of the crowd -positive- fed into his performance, adding a bit of flash and flair to his presence. He was amazing, and he knew it. So did everyone on the floor. He went through the rest of his set with the same passion and vibrance, occasionally glancing over at Alyssa. God, she looked good sitting up there. Watching you. With the exception of that first track he rapped mostly in English, with occasional sections where he could only truly express a feeling in his native tongue.

When he finally stepped down from the mic the crowd was buzzing with motion, begging for more. He took a bow then walked right off the stage into the V.I.P. section. With a sigh of released tension that always followed a performance he took a seat across from Alyssa at his private booth, relaxing into the plush black velvet of the seat. Around them the light show continued, and the dj took over with pounding, tuneless beats meant purely for dancing.

"That was so cool." Alyssa laughed softly. She ran a hand through her soft hair. She smiled at him hopefully. Alyssa's face turned a crimson red. She saw the way he was looking at her. To think, My phone was everything. Now look. She smiled at her own thoughts of him. Alyssa's mom called shortly after the song. The conversation went something like "Alyssa dear, what are you doing out there so long!?!" Alyssa replied "I'm busy." Then she hung up. Alyssa looked at Cheundong and held out a and while standing up. "Well, the night is young. Maybe we can dance until it gets old?" Her hair was almost touching his face, her eyes twinkled in the light. She flashed a smile and pulled him up. 

He watched every move, pupils dilating with the rush of adrenaline he was getting from the combination of the music and the way she leaned towards him. Easy there, tiger. She's just a cute girl. Nothing different from the usual. But that didn't seem right, not now at least. He marveled at the way the lights danced across her skin and hair, at how she blushed. When their hands touched Cheundong grinned, allowing himself to by pulled to his feet. "Anything for a lady." He led her out onto the dancefloor, into the push and heat of bodies, and began to dance as only a boy at a club can dance, oblivious to all but the vision of a girl in front of him. Once again the beat coursed through his veins, filling every nerve with sensation.

It was amazing dancing with her. Te closeness... Her arms around him... And then she wa gone, as if she'd never been there to begin with. Cheundong touched the spot on his cheek where she'd kssed him, with a sort of dumbstruck look on his face. After being bumped into enough he found his way off the dancefloor. As far as he was concerned, the night was over. Cheundong left the club, going back to his rather swank apartment and falling into a rather restless sleep.

The next day found him back in th park, wearing plain light-wash jeans, a regular white t-shirt, and, of course, his Chucks. He looked down at the book in his lap, hoping that just maybe she would show up. Which was stupid. Because his usual routine would have him calling Alyssa, enticing her to go out for lunch, then a few dinner dates. Instead he just wanted to be aroud her. Ridiculous. Truly and utterly ridiculous.

His heart...was that... Yep. It fluttered. For the first time inhis twenty-one years, Cheundong's heart had literally fluttered Like a freaking butterfly. Reining in his breathing theman looked up from his book, smiling warmly to Alyssa. "As ridiculously cheesy as it sounds, I was hoping you would come along. I'm happy you did. Last night was possibly the best premier I've had on any stage. Only one thing made it differen from other premiers, but that one difference was enough. Would you like to it and enjoy the sun with me? You look like you could use a moment to catch your breath."

With an unusually soft look in his eyes he smiled, folding his hands quietly over the book.

Chuckling at her boldness Cheundong shook his head almost imperceptibly, more to himself than to Alyssa. He was being undone, beaten at his own game. This girl was just too much. Of course, that made this even better. If he lost, at least it was to a worthy opponent. In his head he chided himself. Love was no game. At least, it shouldn't be. It was just hard to think of it differently.

"My name is Cheundong Kim. Cheundong means thunder in Korean. Now, I didn't catch that last part, but it sounded as if you had something in mind that might involve us being somewhere together. Am I right, or are my ears messing up early?" He brushing a hand through her hair, enjoying the silky texture as it slid between his fingers.

Alyssa jerked as he brushed her hair, then smiled realizing it was okay. "Actually, your ears are correct." She then blushed simply. "Uh, I gotta go." She quickly scurried off to her house. Alyssa often got uncomfortable in moments like that.

Watching Alyssa run off again Cheundong sighed, returning to his relaxed position. That was a rather abrupt ending to that particular conversation. It... worried him. Was he doing something wrong? Was he too forward? The mere act of worrying worried him. He wasn't used to having to worry about anything. He shook head, trying to regain some semblance of order to his thoughts. There had to be some way to get her to come see him again. Another chance, that was all he needed.
