Leo let Rosalie finnished, but was almost immediately appauled by her answer. He hesitated a mometn, waiting for her to fix it. When she said nothing more, he chimed in again. "You should remember all that influenced you, good or bad. Though one may not want to remember the bad, it is what shapes up and separates us from others."
He walked on, pausing for only a moment. A vampire's lungs, usually having no need of breathing, often hurt after so much, unpracticed use and Leo was no exception. Having little need to speak too often, his chest was getting a little sore, like a muscle being injured and reused after recovery. All the same, Leo continued, raising his voice a hair to put enphasis on each word in hopes it would stick in Rosalie's head. "If you were only to remember the good in others, there is no question you will become rather nieve. It's important to remember their flaws, what made them who they were in order to have a lasting impact on you. Do you understand?"
The vampire was growing slightly impatient, Ultra Violet streams bouncing off crystal- reflective water. He stared into it, tring to focus on something still as he moved. On occ*censored*ion he caught his own reflection, or that of Rosalie's. He'd forgotten that they were holding hands, fighting the current of the river with eachstep in hopes it would mask their scent enough to throw the hybrids off their trail. Leo'd forotten the distinct, sweet scent Rosalie gave off when he inhaled, the way her hair would twirl in a light breeze.
Luckilly for their trail, the day was mostly still, quiet. As they went on, Leo could start to feel the weight from his wet pants as they clung to his legs before being torn away in the flow of the water, then back again in a nonstop motion. Leo was strong and, as most of his nerves were dead, it bothered him little. What worried him was that re relised Rosalie's legs would be getting heavy too, and he was unsure how much it would slow her down. It had been to long since Leo swam to remember being with wet clothes for very long, and already he was slightly annoyed. This, however, with likely due to the sun as much as annything else.
((I blame my brain.))
