Quest for Eternity [Private for Lola, Det, and Shad <3] Lurkers, please no posting! Plot A dragon rider roleplay. Three pairs of dragons and their riders embark on the quest to find the legendary fountain of youth, each armed with a magical item that aids their search. [I'll elaborate on this later. First, we might want to decide if they're working together, and if so, if there's any oppositon, etc. <3] Characters Det- Lola- Shad- Character Sheets Det's doing these....? c: So, this post will be added on/elaborated as we get further into this. I'll edit in a list of the magical items, the Rider-Dragon pairings, etc. Ta da~

Ooc// Yeah, I assume romance will be a pretty minor part, since it's mostly adventure and a little bit of peril. C: If anything happens, perhaps it would be better if it just...happens, as in it isn't prearranged? xD I'll post my characters in a bit--I have log off for a bit.

Name; Alessandra Dal'efois Age; 17 Gender; Female Dragon; Morwydi [More-wed-ee] Appearance; Sleek & curly black hair, pale skin, freckles on the bridge of her nose/cheeks, and electric blue eyes. She has a strong ‘Roman’ nose and thin, downwards curving lips. Her eyes are narrow and long-lashed. Alessandra is about 5’7” and weighs around 119 lbs., most of which is muscle. Personality; Argumentative, brusque, chafing and an all-around non-people person. She's outgoing about her views, doesn't give people a break when they mess up and while not cruel, she's not a guardian angel either. [if I expand I'm afraid I'll lose her] Other; Mmm, she loves arguing. And hates getting frutrated. Go figure. Name; Morwydi [More-wed-ee] Age; Six years (young adult/adult) Gender; Male Rider; Alessandra Dal'efois Appearance; Cream-and-gold male dragon. About 45 ft long and 16 ft high. Slim yet muscular body and dark amber eyes. Personality; Wise for his age and a tempering personality compared to Alessandra's. He gets upset when she gets mad or angry or very sad about things. Thanks for telling me the thread was up, guys. ._. <3 Name; Katrina Envy (Call her Kat or Katri, pronounced Kay-tree) Age; 17 Gender; Female Dragon; Shard Appearance; Katrina's most prominent feature is something you tend to notice after getting to know her. The girl's movements are never swift nor quirky; instead, they are controlled and graceful. Her straw blonde hair has natural copper highlights in them and her typical cut is a side-swept bang followed by layers in her hair. Though it's complimenting when it's down, she always has her locks tied up in a pony tail.
As for her body type, she doesn't have much prominent muscle to her. Katrina can often be described as frail-looking, her thin arms and legs making her seem garishly skinny. Though she lacks physical strength, Katrina has a quick wit that can come out sharply on her tongue.
Personality; Katrina is the type of girl who will do anything to admire the earth around her, going through life slowly instead of rushing through everything like most others seem to do. She tries to see the beauty in all things. When it comes to her favorites, the sky has her love. She is pretty chipper, but keeps a cool about her that keeps her cheery attitude less irritating to others.
Other; As for weapons, Katrina uses a Raptor sword which is a hand-and-a-half blade. She also has a small black dagger that she hides under the folds of her...tunic? xD Name; Shard Age; Young Adult; Gender; Male Rider; Katri, yo. Appearance; Body Type | Shard is rather small for his kind, being only twenty feet long whereas, European dragons grow to be around fourty-five. His body build is quite slender with lightly toned muscles, but anyone could tell you that his body was built for speed and agility rather than bulk. Because of his wiry body, he is thin and his limbs are skinnier which makes him more maneuverable. He has clawed talons.

Wingspan | Thirty-seven feet
Wing Looks | Like the typical European dragon, Shard has large batlike wings. His wings are more slender than his kin, made sharper and sleek for faster flights.
Head Looks | Triangular is the most definite shape of his head. His eyes are slanted and their pupils resemble that of a snake's. He has two prominent fangs that come out from the top of his jaw. The rest of his teeth are dagger sharp and line around his maw naturally. He has a few frills on the side of his head. Personality; Really, really going to rp this out. o_o I've not had a chance to use him so I can't explain it too well. Other;

Ooc; That reminds me. What's the time? It seems odd searching for the Fountain of Youth in modern days, so maybe late medieval? :U Dragon riders in that age though...xD |

Appearance; Marim isn't strikingly handsome, and in fact rather mundane when it comes to his appearance. He has green eyes--some say they're flecked with gold, if looked at in the right light. His hair is a light, inconspicuous brown, and his skin is fairly tan. He's tall and muscled, but not in the muscles-popping-out-of-his-shirt way. He's got an easy smile and a relaxed demeanor, but if he finds himself in a tricky situation, don't underestimate him.
Personality; Marim is easy going, and generally calm to a fault. This can be an advantage in volatile situations, but many people find his unrufflable air to be irritating if they spend too much time around him. He's kind and loyal, but doesn't show much emotion to anyone unless he considers them a close friend. I could go in to the fiercely-protective-of-those-he-loves, but I think you get the picture. c:
Other; He carries a thing sword--sort of a rapier, really--with him that his father gave him. He knows how to use a bow and arrow, but the set he has with him tends to be faulty.

Age; Young Adult, though nearing maturity.

Rider; Marim
Appearance; Aeseli is a dark crimson she-dragon, striking in all the ways that Marim isn't. She has a pale gold underbelly that matches the membrane of her wings, and her eyes are a fierce jaded green. She's about 30 feet in length, with a wingspan of just over forty-five [I don't really know much about this--if it's unrealistic, let me know ^^;]. She stands about 12 feet off the ground. As for her body type, Aeseli is a slightly more serpentine version of a European dragon. She still has the leathery wings and the quadroped looks, buther legs are smaller and more spread apart, keeping her lower to the ground, but also lending her a ribbonlike appearance while in the air. She has a pale gold mane that reaches her shoulder blades, and thin curling horns that are styled like a ram's would be, at the base of each ear and twisting, but they are much thinner and delicate, and the horns itself look like a deer's might--so perhaps antlers, really. The head on which these horns sit is like a reptilian equine of some sort. She has the delicate nostrils and dished face, with large eyes and small chin. When opened, her jaw reveals a gaping maw lined with teeth.
Personality; Aeseli is again what Marim isn't. Quirky, impatient, sarcastic and sharp-tongued, some might say it's a surprise that the two get along as well as they do. The fact of the matter is, though, that Marim and Aeseli balance each other out. They share a fierce bond that makes them deeply loyal to each other, as well as overprotective. Asa is one of the few that Marim really opens up to, though she finds his patience a smidge overwhelming and eternally annoying. She, in turn, rewards him with some of her rare patience, and a lot of advice--her oftentimes constant criticisms are one of the few things known to drive Marim to irritation. But the two are closer to each other than anyone else, and their behavior reflects on that.

Ooc// Bumper cars~ So, I think we should brainstorm the items we're going to use. Det had an awesome idea for a quill that draws their next destination, and maybe we could do a take off of Jack Sparrow's compass, which points in the direction of the fountain, and.... I'll have to think on it. Maybe a weapon of some sort? c:

Ooc; Those are both great ideas. I don't know about the weapon seeing as they'll probably use their own and we have no idea if we'll ever need it. Just an idea, but maybe a book. The book is filled with different poems and prophecies and such that help them pass tests to get into the Fountain of Youth maybe? As they progress, maybe more things appear in the book. When they reach the fountain, maybe it shows them how they need to sacrifice something to obtain its power? |D
