Peeves floated by, poking Harry. "Oo, breaking curfew. SEVERUS." He yelled.

"I think you hurt his feelings, George." Fred sighed.

"This is all your fault Ron." 

Severus heard the ghost yell, grumbling to himself. God, Peeves was annoying. "Peeves if you weren't dead I'd kill you mysel-" He was cut short by the sight of a boy on the stairs. He instantly knew who it was.

"Potter, do you ever learn, boy?" 

Harry looked up and sighed. "I chose to come out here Professor.." He placed his head on his knees and just wanted to stay here. "I dont' really want to go back to my House.. too much going on.." He sighed heavily and let a tear slip before he wiped it away and just remained where he was, curled up.

Ron looked at Geroge and Fred. "Hey, I just thought he needed a pick me up and since he was so close to George earlier.. Oh whatever.. I'll go get him.. Actually.. would he want to see me?"

"I think it'd be best to leave him alone." George sighed.

"May I ask why, Potter?" 

Harry looked at Snape. "Weasleys... They were.. well.. teasing me about something very personal and its just not helping with how horribly my day has been going.. First week and I've already had two detentions... Plus more than 20 house points taken off alone.. and to top it off..." He cuped his mouth. He was just about to spill what he waneted to remain a secret. "I just don't wanna go back in there..."

Ron sighed. "I'm sorry George.. i should have known Harry'd be furious.. And it was probably his first kiss from a man.. I'll still do the laundry.."

"You were going to do the laundry regardlessly."

"Well you can't stay here." Severus replied. "And don't let those fools get you down." He wanted to know what Harry had tried to keep from him, now more than ever. He didn't like things to be kept from him. 

Severus looked like he wanted to follow him for a second, shaling his head as walking away. What was he doing, being sympathetic? It would get him no where."

"There's this word..." George said.

"'Sorry', every heard it?" Fred finished. 

"I don't need sympathy..." Harry stood up and looked at Snape. He wanted to just shout why he was really out here and what they had really done. He looked at the painting that hid his dormatory entrance. He sighed and walked in. He walked up the stairs to see Fred, George, and Ron still there. "I'm sleeping in the common room.. DOn't you dare come down.." He grabbed a blacnket off his bed and walked down.

What. Severus did not just hear that. He was going crazy. He turned, only to see that the boy had already disappeared into the portrait hole.

"What?" Fred said, on the floor laughing with his twin. "Was that?" 

Fred stood laughing, uncaring when he rolled down the stairs and stopped at Harry's feet. "We. Were. Upstairs, promise."

"I wanted to say sorry, Harry." 

"Harry, what have I done to you?" Fred yelled as he left, angry. Great, now he was getting blamed for what George did. He glared up at his brother.

"Sorry mate."

Peeves flew around, stopping. He had heard footsteps, and he could smell someone, but he couldn't see anyone. 

Peeves heard footsteps again. "Not fair! You're cheating, whoever you are!"

Severus heard Peeves yell. He looked up at the ghost, scowling. "What are you babbling about, Peeves?"

"There's someone here!!"

Severus knew that Harry had an invisibility cloak. He also knew that Harry had a tendency for strutting about after dark.

"Where?"
