Ron looked at Harry. He had to loose them ten points on thr first day of potions?! What was wrong withthe boy. Harry sighed and looked at the potion he had spilled. He looekd at the potion in front of him then at snape. "Fine Professor." He said with as much sarcasm as he could. This was a horribel start to the school year. He was probably the first kid to get detention on the first day pf fifth year. He looked at Hermione, his complection softening. "Sorry 'Mione... I didn't mean to snap like that but Malfoy brat is getting on my nerves.." "My father will hear about you Potter! The choosen one getting detention on teh first day too?! What a joke you are.." he continued making his potion as his 'friends' snickered and made other comments about Harry. (('tis fine. :3)) |

Draco slammed his hands on the table. "How can you put me in a room with.. Potter!" He sneered with disgust as he spoke. He growled and glared at Potter. "This is all your fault Potter! Your going to pay for this!" he sat down and angrily continued his potion making, but ended up adding too much of one ingredient. The potion turned a sickly green and began to form lumps in it. Harry chuckled slightly when Severus had given the Malfoy brat a detention. He quickly stopped when he realized that he could get more points taken adn more detention if he continued to laugh. "Well.. That solves my problem for now.." He smiled and looke dat the mess that he didn;t bother to clean up. "Am I supposed to clean that?" he whispered to Hermione. She shrugged. "I don't know.. Ask.. him.." She nodded toward Snape. |

"Draco, you do not have detention. However, if you do not fix your potion in the next five minutes, you will." Severus turned to Harry, sneering. "You can leave it there, you'll only be cleaning it up in detention."

Harry dropped his head. "Sh!t... This is going to take hourse to clean.." he sighed and continued to make his potion again. He looked at Hermione, who was almost finsihed with her potion adn Ron, who was father than him but far behind Hermione. He begged her for help and Harry could only laugh as she slapped his arm playfully and sighed. Harry smiled slightly. "Better fix it now Malfoy... Who knows what you did.." He smirked. Draco glared at Harry. "Shut up Potty! I'll get this thing fixed!" He added a few more ingredients for about 4 minutes and inteh last second, he was able to make it go back to the original color he had started with. "There Professor! It's fixed.." he sat down and read teh book, not wanting detention with Potter. he continued making teh potion when one potion next to him exploded, sending a cloud of red to cake his cheek and right side of his face as well as the boy next to him whole face. |

Severus leaned over to look at Draco's potion, pulling back and walking away seconds before the potion next to him exploded. He sighed. "Fifteen points from Slytherin, and you now have detention."

Harry went into a fit of giggling because of the color on Malfoy. He lookex at Ron and Hermione,who were stifling their laughs so no more house poonts were taken off. All three were on the verge of tears. Harry's were from laughing too much and Ron and Hermione's were from stifling laughs. "i like the color Malfoy. Its suits tje rigbt side of your face very nicely."
Malfoy glared at Harry. "shut up!! I didnt even cause this Potter and you know that I didnt!" He growled and stood up. "professor snape! That is t even fair! I didnt make the explosion! You cant put me in detention with Potter!"

Ron and Hermione immediately stopped giggling and sighed in unision. They continuex with thwir potion in silence. They now had to spend their time in detention with Snape. They looked at Harry, who was still laughing since he already had detention anyways.
Harry looked at Ron and Hermione. "oh man! Malfoy.. How childish of you... " he comtinued to laugh as Malfoy tried to rid his hair of the red substance.
Malfoy glared. "fine!" he growled and cotinued to tey and unredden his hair. "Sh!t!!"

"Language, Mr. Malfoy." Severus growled. He lazily waved his hand, returning the boy's hair back to it's original white state. He looked at all the potions, realizing that most students were done for the day. "Class dismissed."

Harry sighed and remained in the classroom. Detention was gunna start for him and his friends. He sighed amd looked at Snape. "So what am I supposed to clean thia with?" he looked at the spilled potion and then at snape. He smirked slightly. "Bet your having fun witb Malfoy..."
Malfoy sighed and glqred. "what am i supposed to do for detention since potter is cleaning?"

Severus looked over at Draco. "You will be cleaning the mess around you caused by the explosion." He glared at Harry. "You will use your bare hands and that brush." He stated, a scrub brush appearing on his desk. "And I would never put my hands on your ah... friend, Potter." He sneered.

Harry sighed and grabbed the brush tbat was on his desk. "i didnt mean that way!! And I dont consider that.. Brat as a friend!" he got on his knees and began to scrub the floor. He brushed amd brushed and sighed when it was barely scratching the substance's surface. "Can you" he grunted, "tell me what this even is?!" He continued to scrub.
Malfoy looked around. There was red for about a good foot radius around him. "your kidding me... And whay do i use to clean this stuff off? You dont expect me to get on my knees like potter and scrub do you?"

"And your a teacher... You should be able to tell me what it is as well..." He co tinued to scrub and finally broke a piece off the floor. Be co tinued to scrub and he grunted when the brusb got stuck. He continued to scrub and finally had the floor clean with a messed up brush."There Professor.. The floor is clean..."
Draco grabbed Harry and dragged him to where the red mess was. "You said to do what I must and I pick Harry... Now clean it..."
Harry growled and began to scrub the red mess. He was happy it was much easier to scrub off than the mess he had made.

"ow..." He was a le to say as Snape pulled him off the floor. His arm burt from being dragged by Draco then dragged to his feet by Snape. Harry put the now red brush down on Draco's desk. "So... What am I shpposed to do now? I finished cleaning my mess..."
Draco growled. "Fine.. But my father will have your head Snape." He got down and scrubbed the floor before he pulled out his wand. "you dont mind a little water on the floor do you Professor?"

Harry quickly turned and left the classroom, hearing a gush of water suddenly from Draco's wand. His shoes were now clicking in a puddle of water. "Guess Draco camt use that yet..." He snikered and headed on to the Gryffindor commonroom to see if Ron an Hermione were there. He flopped onto the couch.
"Harry! Looks like ol' Snape didnt eat your head after all..."
Harry laughed at Ron's comment. "well no.. But he looked like he wanted to bite off Malfoy's.. He tried to make me clean his mess!" Harry sighed from exhaustion. "We shoukd be heading to the Great Hall for dinner soon..."
Ron nodded. "of course we have to wait for 'Mione first... She better hurry or we'll go without her.." At that moment Hermione came down the stairs amd grabbed their arms, pulling them toward the Great Hall.
