((Alright then. :3)) Harry looked around the corner of the hall. His voice was a whisper. "Come on Ron.. You said you left it over here.." He walked around the corner and darted behind a suit of armour in the classroom. Ron followed Harry closely. "Bloody Hell Harry... You run too fast for me to keep darting around like this.." He looked around and slunk under a desk. "I dropped it somewhere over here.. Where in the world can he be.." "How can you loose your rat at a time like this? We are out after dark and this is going to take forever if we keep searching room by room.. Too bad they took that map..." He sighed and looked around, seeing something dart toward where Ron was. "Ron! It's Scabbers!" He jumped at the rat, missing his tail by a little. Ron grabbed the rat and quickly hid behind the desk. Harry had yelled too loudly to him about the rat. He didn't want to get caught. He decided to quickly pull Harry to his feet and walked out. They headed in the oposite idrection of their dorm house. "Come on Harry.. we still need to find that cat that tried to eat him.." Harry followed. "Ron.. We can't go toward Slytherin house.."

Severus growled, hearing voices not too far away. He was, unfortunately, stalking the corridors on the nightly patrol. All he needed was to find some students to torture.

Ron ran into the corridors of Slytherine and quickly ran out when he heard someone coming toward them. He ran passed Harry and quickly ran back to the Gryffindor house. He held Scabbers tightly so the rat didn't disappear. "Your one sneaky rat, Scabbers..." He ran in quickly. Harry looked at Ron as he ran passed him, but when Ron ran passed, it caught Harry and tossed his back. He landed on his bottom and his glasses fell to the floor. He picked them up as quickly and he could and placed them back on his nose. "Ron!!" Harry turned and was now on his knees. "ow..." |

Harry jumped. He looked up at Snape and quickly stood up. He faced Snape and he dusted his pajamas off. "We were looking of Ron's pet rat... He got out... And Ron wasn't going to let me sleep if we didn't get the rat back first and I'm in trouble.. Aren't I?" His eyes looking at Snape's. What a day this is going to be for Harry. First he got in trouble in the morning and now he was probably going to be in trouble at night.

Severus thought it over. He knew that that Weasley kid was here, he had heard him, too. But he did hate Harry... But it was only fair... His black eyes bore down at Harry. "No, you are not. If I do, however, catch you outside of the dormitories this late again, severe punishment will be due." |

Harry's heart stopped. Was Snape actually letting him go? He let out a sigh of relieve. "yes Professor... I'll take my leave.." He quickly turned on his heel and ran down the hallways. "Ron Weasley!! I'll kill you for this!!" He hsouted as he ran down the hallway, quickly running in and he grabbed Ron, who had been watching the whole thing by the corner.

Severus turned on his heel, disappearing into the dark corridor again. If he caught him again, he'd make up for letting him go this time. Oh, how he hoped to catch him.

Harry got up and got ready for classes, well, breakfast. He was still mad at Ron for leaving him behind. He stood up and threw the blankets off of Ron. "get up Ron.. You need to make sure scabber's is in the cage.. Snape already said that I'd have a severe punishmment if he catches me in the hallways after dark again.." he walked down to the common room and met with Hermione. He sighed. "Ron almost got me in trouble with Snape... He let me go for some reason though.." Hermione's eyes widened slightly. "What? He actually let you go?? You have to tell me how you got that to happen Harry.. Come on.. Ron will catch up." She took his wrist and walked out of the common room and down to the Great Hall. they walked in and took seats next to each other. "But I don't even know what I didn't do.. Or what i did do.. to make him let me off.." |
