Due to your personality evaluation, your teacher have decided that any of these three Pokemon would be a good fit:
Petilil
Gothita
Emolga
Now you have to choose: Which One?
((Your reply must be about you choosing your Pokemon, and end with the opening of your pokedex! Don't forget the egg moves either! Happy Easter!))

Quisenne really, really didn't know how to react to being posed with these particular Pokemon after walking in here. Granted, she probably couldn't have judged anyways, because she had walked in here expecting...you know. Grandeur. Pizzazz. Whatever else it was that came with epic Pokemon, or at least a proper starter. None of that was to be with her craptastic personality evaluation, of course. It had come back saying 'vindictive' and things like that. Still, given such a choice and such a chance, she knew she shouldn't be complaining. It was her only chance to jumpstart her career...or at least start it properly. If it were up to her, she'd just take the entire lot and like...mug these guys, but because this was impossible...well, yeah. Uh. Hee. Time to choose now.
This choice felt full of pressure. The Pokemon she chose now would be her partner for life, but what if she chose wrong? Or, what if she chose right, but the next person with a compatible evaluation mistreated their Pokemon? Eesh...yeah, maybe she was overthinking this. The young woman held her hand out over the Pokeballs, hovering it over each to see if she felt a connection to any in particular.
Emolga's Pokeball...? No. She didn't know if she could deal with the hyperactive nature that these creatures had, and certainly not with it hoarding berries. Him? Her? There was no way to tell; they didn't mark the Pokeballs. In any case, because she couldn't possibly provide for it and maybe a little bit because it didn't evolve...certainly she wasn't going to pick Emolga. Sorry, obscenely cute flying electric rodent...outta luck there.
Quisenne's hand moved on to the next Pokeball; she was well aware of and ignored the 'what's taking you so long' types of looks from the evaluators. Petilil...? They were an all-female species, and she wasn't sure how the poor thing would deal with her plans to catch a Rufflet at some indeterminate point. She wasn't even sure whether she thought this would be because of a gender rivalry, which was silly, or because Rufflet might be omnivores and Petilil was pretty completely the definition of omnivorous food. Were they meat? Were they salad? Were they both? Was thinking this inane and cruel? Yes. So...no dice. ...Petilil would probably do best with a gardener type of some kind anyway.
That left the Gothita. Which...was definitely not her first choice either, but maybe they would get to know one another later. Besides... what could go wrong? Not...not much surely. Gothita in general were known for being very little trouble, so in the worst case scenario she (or he, they did have males if Senne remembered) would be alright on her/his own if Quisenne were somehow to get killed.
"...Yeah, I-I guess I'll go with this one. Sorry about wasting your time," the beginning trainer apologized. She picked up the Pokeball and set it, sized down, into her bandolier. Now how did this Pokedex thing work?!
Auxil spent some amount of time trying to open it before some helpful laboratory aide muttered something insulting and clicked it open for her. Immediately the interface pinged; apparently her Pokeball had already been linked up to it and registered the presence of that Gothita in the device. "Gothita, the Fixation Pokemon. They intently observe both Trainers and Pokemon. Apparently they are looking at something only they can see." Well, that was helpful! And cute. Very cute. ...Actually, you know what, forget the rules. Quisenne let out the Gothita, which the dex claimed knew Pound, Confusion and...Heal Pulse, of all things. Well. Its father must have been a Lucario or something.
She was actually completely unprepared for this cuteness level. It was...adorable, in a creepy kind of way! <3 The young woman knelt down and immediately dissolved into greetings and quiet babytalk. "D'aww...well, hi there! Aren't you just adorable. I guess we're partners now, so...I'm going to need something to call you.~"

((Heal Pulse... Nice choice for an egg move. You can give the Gothita a nickname and a certified gender in your post if you want to. Oh, by the way, Would you like Team Plasma to show up at all? Or no?))
After the whole class had finished choosing their partners, one of your professors started to speak. "This is a Pokedex," she sayed, holding the same color pokedex you examined a few minutes before. "It is practically a--oh what is it? Nintendo 3ds?--yes, one of your Nintendo game boxes." Your Professor pluged the Pokedex into her computer, letting the whole class see the basic mechanics of registering a Pokemon. She nimbly opened the Pokedex in the same manner that you did. When you get a closer look at the computer screen you can see that the bottom screen was blank, and the top screen was a box with enough room for six Pokemon to be displayed. After setting down the Pokedex for a moment, the Professor called out a Pidove. "And this is how you register," she said. She then aimed her Pokedex at the Pidove and pressed the two side buttons once again. A red light scaned the Pidove, and a picture of it appears in one of the six blank boxes. She then explained that the dex will hold information for all of the Pokemon that you capture, and that you can edit which Pokemon it displays as your party Pokemon manually. "The rest of the controls you have already learned in 'Basic Pokedex Handling', I take it?" she asked, getting a round of nodding in return. "If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!" she finished.

((Yeah, it'd be nice. ouo))
Right. Well, Quisenne would figure the rest of it out as she went - that had been the class she'd slept in. The one. No one had noticed, thankfully, due to her practice of lightly snoozing/photosynthesizing in mathematics in regular school, and it would be kept that way if she had any input at all in doing so. She noted that some of the work had been done for her, so maybe her evaluation wasn't as promising as she'd thought, but at least she'd passed. Still the name slot had been left blank, and so had most of everything else. How did this touch screen thing work again? Agh, getting used to things. So difficult. Always. Yet she'd gotten into the Pokemon menu fine. Input name. What? Where was the Shift on this thing? Oh...oh THERE it was. How rude the dev team were, putting it in such a stupid place. Q-U...I-double-tap-S, E double tap N, E. Barely enough space in the thing. What about people who had longer names, huh? Anyway. Time to find out the gender of this partner thing and input a nickname. She clicked the appropriate buttons and aimed the device at her curious Pokemon. ...Oh...male Gothita. Poor thing...living with that for the rest of his life. She could sort of sympathize. And she needed something to call him that didn't summon every other Gothita in the vicinity. She picked him up carefully, cradling his little adorable purple creature self close. "...Say, little guy. You cool with me calling you something? I don't really know if you have a name or if you can write or anything, but before I jump to conclusions, I might as well ask."

((The Rules state that you can control what the Pokemon on your team do on your post, so I'll just tell you what's going on in the surrounding area.)) Around you, kids were leaving the room. First out was Derran, a haughty-looking Snivy perched on his shoulder. Following him was Emily, a Munna floating behind her. Then came the twins, Holly and Molly. They had Maractus and Trubbish respectively. Rissa, the Normal-type fanatic, was about to leave, Lillipup in arms, when someone blocked her path. Clyde, the school's resident mean kid. By his side was a Timburr, grinning slyly. The pair stayed there for a few long seconds before leaving the doorway. Rissa sighed in relief before following them quietly. You and your Partner were just watching the action when someone sidled up next to you. "Hey there," said Ricky, a Vanillite floating on his right. "Meet Belue," he introduced. "She's a cutie, isn't she?"
