Ryar fired his pistol at Desperax until the battery ran out.
Leornus was now trying to shoot down the Fighta Bommas with his Smite powers.
Whether we wanted it or not, we\'ve stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let\'s get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta\'aurc. From what I can gather he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank outside of Rubicon. He\'s well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.

(Good luck with that XD He's never going to hit and if he does it will do nothing, nowhere near strong enough) Desperax shot into the air, his altitude meaning most of Ryar's shots missed, and his demonic nature protected him from the couple that struck him. He stuck his arm out, hooking into the wing of one of the Fighta-Bommas as it went past. With a bestial growl he started to claw his way along the wing.

(Yeah but he doesn't know that. Stop me ta gaming)
The Ork yelled some Orky Swears at Desperax, threatening to "Beat 'im up good an' propa!" as he tried to keep control of his plane as it hurtled to the ground.

The supa shoota turret on the back of the fighta bomma swung around, shooting at Desperax as he clawed his way along the wing, slashing at cables and tearing up bits of metal with his boot-claws. Several shots ricocheted off his armor and he almost lost his grip.

With a last threat of 'WAAAGH!' the Ork pilot lost control and the fighta bomma smacked into the ground

Desperax boosted off before the Ork plane hit the ground, spiraling violently through the air, but despite his velocity he landed safely, almost elegantly, screeching Daemonically as he jumped again, heading towards Ryar once more.

Ryar swung his crozius into Desperax's head as the foe sped towards him.

Desperax, avoided the blow with his head but the crozius clipped his shoulder and caused him to crash into Ryar.
Lord Nocture and Karkass finally managed to emerge from the upturned Land Raider, relatively undamaged. "Let us get out of here, those Ork bommas will have undoubtedly alerted reinforcements!" Karkass yelled. "Do not be a fool! If we go off on our own we will be easy prey for those very reinforcements!" Lord Nocture said. "In order to survive we cannot run like frighten prey animals, but terrifying the Orks enough that they will hold back until we can plan further. The ideal way to do that would be to destroy the remaining Ork filth, and then put the loyalist dogs on spikes. The xenos would the mistake us for a larger force, and we can then work our deadly art among the weaklings!"

Galan grabbed Nocture's arm from behind with his power fist. "I don't like that idea" he growled through his vox-caster.
Ryar rolled with the blow, then came up quickly and began raining blows upon Desparax
Leornus managed to send a smite bolt through the cockpit of the second bomma, causing the Ork to lose control.

Karkass pointed his meltagun at the Terminator, impressed that he hadn't seen it coming, but angry at it's mere existence. "Release him or I melt your flesh and dance upon your loyalist filth corpse!" "He raises a good point, imperial dog, you know as well as we do who would wing in this confrontation." Lord Nocturne said, pointing his plasma pistol up into the powerfist holding his arm.

"Or we could strike an arrangement" said Galan. "There's no way 3 marines, of either faction, can get off this planet alive with an entire Ork Waaagh! here"

"A wench of the false emperor, attempting to make a pact with the scions of Chaos?! What trickery of the gods is this?!" Karkass roared, taking a step closer to Galan and aiming his melta at his head. Lord Nocturne pointed his plasma pistol at Karkass, who halted. Lord Nocturne looked at Galan. He tried to come up with a response, a phrase to embody the sheer hatred and amnety of ten thousand years of exile and rivalry, searched his soul for a single sentence to sum up the eternal anguish and loathing between them. He laughed a deep, slow laugh and finally said: "Brother."

Galan's brow furrowed below his helmet and his twin hearts almost skipped a beat, but he didn't let it show. "Then you understand our predicament?"

"I understand our 'predicament', but I share my companions mind set. I would never think to ally myself with an Imperial tick suck as yourself, not before the apocalypse itself." Lord Nocturne said slowly and methodically.

Lord Nocturne laughed and shook his head. "Although the sentiment is...good...I doubt there will be much forgiveness from the Emperor for any of us."

"Do not doubt the benefice..." Galan decided it would be prudent to turn the zealousy down a little.

"We have not even agreed to survive with you, do not try and force your false idealogies onto us yet Loyalist!" Karkass barked. "We have fought 10,000 years against you, against Him, against the foul Imperium, Space Marine-and if there is one thing I have learnt, it is that war is as much a clash of wills as a clash of blades, and that if we do not thoroughly think through every option, we will not survive. This is not a yes, this is a maybe." Lord Nocturne said fairly quietly.
