The red-headed Ezeah blinked, then giggled quietly as Sumnor finished his little speech. Before she could reply to him, his daughter stepped forward, also offering a hand in greeting. Glancing for only a moment at Xaphan, Ezeah then took Niele's hand. "Ezeah." She replied with a smile.
After a minute or so, as she released the female Vampires hand, she gazed back at Xaphan, curiosity on her face as she thought over the situation. "Hey Xaphan..." She said slowly, tugging on the Old Bloods sleeve. "What now?... I mean, now that you've found your son again. What do you plan on doing next?" ~~~ Watching silently from her position over by the alley, Rene's eyes narrowed as she watched the scene unfold, before her gaze resoloutely focused on the Old Blood. She hadn't recognised him immediately, but there was only so long she could look at his face before remembering. He was the first of her two previous partners, from a very, very long time ago. She was rather surprised to see him here, of all places.
Snorting quietly to herself, her gaze wandered back over to the others, before she finally gave in and turned around, walking away from the group, hands in her pockets. Eh... She hated crowds.... Despised them, even. ~~~ At Dryacs words, Xyen nodded, then chuckled. They must have been incredibly lucky to come by this Old Blood. Although he was Lycan, Xyen knew how the race of Vampires started; With just one human, born with a peculiar hunger and ability to fulfill that need... The Old Blood vampires we're the first few generations of Vampire, meaning that Sumnor was, technically, also an Old Blood. Hell, Rene was an Old Blood, one of the youngest as far as he knew.
"I see." He said in reply, placing his hands in the opposite sleeves of his robes as Reiyn came to stand beside him, making no noise at all as he walked over stone; The dark haired male Vampire having watched the whole scene from a nearby rooftop.
"Looks like our group may get larger yet, eh, Xyen?"

Xaphan looked down at his young looking and acting counter-part, "Well there's a question... I'm not too sure, I mean if you're okay with it I'd like for us to travel around with my son for a while, after all, over two thousand years is a long time to catch up on, and by the looks of him he is stronger than he ever was before, so I would like to see him in battle also." Sumnor shrugged, "We're tagging along with an odd mix as it is, so you should be welcomed enough, we'll have to put it past Xyen, but he should like you, I mean, you've always been similar to me in ways." "That's because of the old blood power that runs through our veins, gives us all a similar personallity, but then I'm your father as well so you were always doomed." "Haha, aye... saying that, Niele is different to I in every way imaginable." "That's because she isn't old blood Son, her mother wasn't, therefore she must have taken after her, there are very few of us left... in fact, I think I can smell at least one here apart from us two." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Dryac stayed stood with Xyen, a bored ex pression on his face, a young boy was staring at the group so he raised a hand to wave, and then transformed that arm to scare him away, he then chuckled, "I've always enjoyed doing that." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Niele stretched and only really started to focus when her name was mentioned, however she zoend out wuickly, she had known she wasn't an old blood for some time, but there was more than just her father and grandfather in thsi city? interesting.

Ezeah smiled, then nodded and looked back at Sumnor. "You wouldn't mind having us along, would you?" She asked, bouncing on the balls of her feet. At Xaphan's mention of another Old Blood, the flame haired Lycan looked over her shoulder at him, blinking. "But... Old Bloods are rare, right? Like... Almost extinct?"
"Indeed they are." Reiyn replied from where he stood. Despite the distance between him and the other 3, his sharp ears caught every word of what the Vampires and Lycan spoke. Xyen, who stood next to Reiyn, glanced sideways at his companion, then smiled and closed his eyes. "We happen to have an Old Blood in our group, if your curious to know. Be warned though, she can be incredibly stubborn, and she's not a big fan of groups either. Her name is Rene, no doubt she'll show herself eventually."
The dark haired Lycan chuckled and opened his eyes as Reiyn placed both hands behind his head. The dark haired male then strolled forward, coming to stop not far from Sumnor, his gray eyes focused on Xaphan and the younger, female Lycan. "My name is Xyen. It's a pleasure to meet you both." He smiled warmly at the two, extending a hand as Ezeah took it, the red-headed wolf smiling in return.

Xaphan nodded at Xyen, chuckling slightly as Ezeah grabbed the lycans hand, he nodded at Xyen, "Very pleased to meet you Xyen, I am Xaphan and this is my young protege, Ezeah, as you may have guessed she is of your breed," He glanced down at the female lycan, "She is also the best company I have ever had, she certainly keeps me on my toes, and she's got a brilliant sense of humour, everything you look for in a friend really." Sumnor looked around, slilghtly nervous, although he didn't know why,"Are you two here on your own father?" "No, we did have a rather large group with us, but they seem to have dispersed, I haven't a clue why." "They... were killed, father, we butchered the lycans that did it, I saw that one of them was a cousin of mine, that made it personal, and we slew every one that was involved." Dryac strolled up, stretching the tension from his back, "hey Xaphan, it's been a while." Niele had walked slowly over to were she sensed Rene, she was curious now that she ahd learnt that she was the old blood, "Rene, I realise we didn't get to talk, I would like to get to know you, you intrugue me."

"Excellent." Xyen laughed, releasing Ezeah's hand and clapping his own together, his face cheerful as he glanced around. "So! What's the plan? Do we continue onwards towards your home town, Sumnor?" He asked, his eyes on the Old Blood beside him.
Ezeah watched silently, still smiling as Xyen spoke; Eventually grasping Xaphan by the sleeveand tugging on it as she always did when wanting his attention. "I don't think that's such a bad idea, Xaphan. Isn't Sumnor's home town yours also? It might be good for you to revisit it~" The flame haired Lycan giggled, then released the Old Bloods sleeve; Crossing her arms behind her back as she waited for the decision.
As Xyen and the others conversed, Reiyn silently joined them, being his usual, silent self as he simply listened. As was normal for him, he wasn't all that fussed by what they did next, and to be honest, he didn't really care. Placing his hands in his trench coat pockets, he closed his eyes, and like Ezeah, awaited the decision of Sumnor. ~~~ Still walking away from the group, Rene didn't so much as glance over her shoulder or stop at the sound of Niele. The silver haired Old Blood did however, eventually, turn to face the following Vampire, an eyebrow slightly raised.
"Intrigue you?" She asked, blinking. "Isn't your father or grandfather a good enough example of an Old Blood?" Her voice wasn't harsh, just curious as she eyed the younger Vampire. The granddaughter of her old mate.

Sumnor deliberated on their choices for a few moments before coming to speak, "I want to visit my own town, even if only to get a change of clothes, this suit get's stuffy often, I know we don't sweat or in any other way dirty our clothes, but I would prefer something mroe casual, or even more battle suited." Sumnor looked around, "I can flit if you can all follow?" Dryac stayed focuse, listening carefully to every word that was said, at the mention of flitting he didn't reply, Sumnor knew he was one of the fastest lycans alive, so he didn't need an introduction. Xaphan stood, listening intenetly, enjoying the ability of being able to hear the voice of his son, "You know I can flit son, remember the old days? when we'd flit through beaches and fields just to irritate someone?" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Niele stayed close to Rene, she wasn't completely sure why she was so intrigued, btu she gave it her best shot at explaining, "You are like me in some ways, only you are less afraid to show it, that intrigues me, and I hope that in the ability of being your friend, i will learn to show my true self a lot easier."

Xyen nodded, then headed off in the general direction they had aimed for before coming upon Xaphan and Ezeah; Changing into his powerful wolf form as he did so. He was pretty sure he'd judged the direction correctly going by the position of the sun. Afterall, the fiery orb hadn't moved all that much in the time it took for the groups to introduce themselves. Unlike the Vampires, the Lycans couldn't flit, but they powerful enough muscles to be able to keep up. Hell, even if they were left behind, a Lycan could follow a scent with ease; Making following the Vampires actually quite easy.
Shortly behind the Lycan, Reiyn followed, but not before stopping in front of Xaphan and his red-headed Lycan companion; Nodding in greeting before continuing after Xyen. He'd flit as soon as Sumnor did.
Without much hesitation, Ezeah smiled at Xaphan, then followed after Xyen and Reiyn, mimicking the great black Lycan and taking her wolf form. She was around half the size of Xyen in this form, and her fur was the exact shade of red as her hair, making her look almost as though she was on fire. Literally. Her body was slender and long, and she moved with grace.
Glancing over her shoulder, her chocolate brown eyes focused on Xaphan, a wolfish grin on her features. "Hurry up, old man. We're gonna leave you behind!~" ~~~ Closing her eyes and smiling slightly, Rene turned her back on Niele."Do what you wish."She said, her voice remaining neutral despite her amusement at the younger Vampires words. She then continued walking, picking up the distant sounds of the others beginning to move. Eh... It seemed she hadn't quite made it far away enough, not if she could still hear them, anyway.

Sumnor arched his neck to both sides, sliding his arms out of his trenchcoat and throwing it at Dryac, Dryac put it on before doing as Xyen had done, transforming, the trechcoat dissapearing along with his own clothes, "Are we ready?" "Looks like." At that Sumnor bent down slightly, tightening the laces of the trainers he always wore, they kind of clashed with the black pinstripe suit he wore, and he broke into an instant flit, running at practically the speed of light, not tiring nor losing breath, heading straight for the town they were going to. Dryac fell straight into an all four run, not bothering to stretch his neck or muscles, catching up with and keeping pace with Sumnor, running at the right side of him, finsing it easy to keep up with his friend like he always had done in the past. Xaphan grinned as His protege ran, he began to flit instantly, catching up, lookin over only to smile at her, "I doubt you'd find it easy to lose me Bec," Bec was a word that he always called Ezhea, it was old blood speak for 'Little one'. Niele follwed Rene, "I plan on... how do you know Xaphan?" Niele was shocked, she hadn't even relaised that she ahd noticed something, her mind was working ahead of her body.

Xyen bounded after the others with grace, despite his huge size; And he found it easy enough to keep up with the agile Dryac and the flitting Vampires. Beside him, Reiyn flitted, the dark haired vampire was delibrately keeping himself at the Lycans pace, flitting beside Xyen and Dryac.
With a burst of speed, Xyen pushed himself forward, his powerful wolf-like muscles bunching under his jet black fur; His body immediately catching up to Sumnor and Dryac, before keeping a constant pace, running beside them. On his other side, Reiyn approached, the vampire glancing over when the Lycan spoke.
"Sumnor. Got any idea how long it will take us to reach your town if we continue at this pace?"
Before recieving a reply, Reiyn spoke. "Rene and Niele are ahead. Not too far, should we head for those two first?"
"May as well." Xyen replied, looking back at Sumnor, still awaiting an answer, Ezeah running not far from them, grinning at Xaphan. ~~~ Placing both hands behind her head, Rene sighed inwardly, not understanding just why Niele was so interested. Glancing over her shoulder, she looked at the female vampire, looking capable and powerful. She looked very much like her father, but whether or not she could meet the expectation of an Old Blood...
Yawning, she turned back to the front, walking down a seemingly deserted street, eyes bored. At the females question behind her, she answered without stopping.
"Just an old friend, a very, old friend. Why do you wish to know?" Rene couldn't help but smile slightly. Despite the fact she was incredibly old... She most certainly didn't look it.

Sumnor kept the pace, looking over at Xyen, not needing to concentrate on the path he was taking, his psychic abilities guiding the way, "An hour or two, and yes, I think we should find Niele and Rene, I suppose that would be the best course of action." Dryac kept pace well, looking over at Sumnor only to speak "Sumnor, old buddy, old friend, old pal, Why is it that everytime I come to this town i smell old lycan blood? they died out centuries ago, yet their smell still lingers." Sumnor's ex pression was confused for a few moments before he replied, "Old Lycans?.. OH! You mean the pure breed? You're one of them Dryac, and by the smell of it so is Xyen, you may be the only two left in existance, but you're pure none-the-less... but a lot were killed here, so the blood never seems to fade." Dryac shrugged whilst he was running, "Are you sure we're the last two? I mean... surely the last two pure bloods aren't hanging around with an old blood?" Sumnor chuckled lightly at his friends remark, "You're prbably not, I mean they're rare, even mroe so than the old bloods themselves, but it is you, Xyen and your son that I know about, and there must be a female or two out there." Dryac sighed a heavy sigh of relief, "Well as long as there's a chance of a come abck, I'm fine." He then picked up some more speed, therefore having to put less effort into keeping up.

"I'm afraid not." Xyen chuckled. "That is, I am not an Old Lycan. The Lycans never did survive as well as the Vampires, but I do know a lot about this area. This city used to harbour one of the oldest homes of Lycan kind, and yes, thousands of years ago it played host to Old Lycans. Like Sumnor said, however, they were killed."
The great black wolf shrugged while he ran. "I'm a descendant, mix of pure and other. Nothing more, nothing less." He laughed then, just as Ezeah veered over, her flaming pelt reflecting the sunlight above.
"That's such a shame." She replied, glancing over at Xyen, Sumnor and Dryac. "Old Lycans probably still exist though. We're in the presence of 3 Old Bloods afterall... Weird things happen, huh~" She then looked towards the path they were taking, eager to meet the female Old Blood Vampire. ~~~ Rene caught the scent of the others' approach before she spotted them, and she didn't bother turning around. She simply continued to walk, hands behind her head, trying to ignore the fact she was going to end up walking with the rest of them.
Eh... She'd have to go hunting later... Away from the others.

Dryac shrugged and sniffed the air, "Then I mustn't be dead, cause I'm still alive, and I've been taht way for... Oh I lost count at least 2 millennia ago." Sumnor chuckled slightly, "You may just be an adept at staying alive, I mean all the years taht you've been with me must have paid off in some way." "Nah I doubt it, I mean after all I never liked to put myself up for more than I am." Sumnor sighed, slightly bored with running, re*censored*uring himself that it wouldn't be long until they could stop at his home town, "Ezeah, I don't know about the old lycans, but what would you do if you met one? wouldn't you be in awe, you know like those celebrity lovers?" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Niele continued at a slow pace following Rene, her hands on the back of her head, her eyes gazing into the sky, "Iwas just curious about the strange company my Grandfather always seems to keep, I mean he used to travel with you, there was my father and Dryac, and now Ezeah."

The blazing midday sun gave Ezeah's flame red fur a fiery sheen as she ran, her slender form moving with unrestrained grace as she glanced over at Sumnor. Her chocolate coloured eyes bright. "Of course! The Ancients are the same as Old Blood Vampires. Only rarer, I'd think. We found it harder to adapt to a changing world. Why don't you ask Xaphan about it?" She smiled, looking over at the Old Blood's father as she ran. "Afterall. He's pretty darn old, Im sure he's seen an Ancient or two during his life-time, right?" She asked, smiling.
Xyen, who ran beside Ezeah, also glanced over at the Old Blood with a slight smile, his paws making no sound whatsoever as they came into contact with the paving stones beneath. Eventually, he came to a stop not far behind Rene and Niele, padding the last 10 feet or so towards the female Vampires. Reiyn had slowed beside him, and Ezeah also.
The red wolf sat on her haunches in the middle of the town street, toungue lolling in a wolfish grin as she watched the Vampires in front with interest and curiousity.
At the sound of familiar voices, Rene glanced once over her shoulder, narrowing her eyes at the oncoming Lycans and Vampires; Allowing her hands to fall to her sides as she turned her body to face them, sighing. No point running now. She could always get away later if she needed to... Placing her hands in her pockets, she watched them with an unreadable ex pression as they came to a stop.
"Here you are." Xyen laughed, sitting beside Ezeah, barely noticing the huge size difference between him and the flame-furred female as Reiyn leaned against a nearby wall. "Ezeah, Xaphan." He said, glancing downwards with a slight smile. "This is Rene. The Old Blood we spoke of, and another, very old companion of mine."

Sumnor grinned a sarcastic grin as Xyen introduced Rene to his grandfather and his grandfather's companion, "And someone that'd be off on her own if we weren't such good trackers, haha." Xaphan trotted to a steady stop behing Rene and Niele, "Nice to meet you, I'm Xaphan, father of this Old Blood here." Xaphan pointed at Sumnor with the thumb of his left had, "He was always one for talking in the most succint ways, enven to I and his mother, god rest her soul." "You raised me, so I would of thought that I would obviously be rahter blunt, you're not one for dicing with words, You remember that old peasant quaking in his boots at the doorstep of that old castle we used to live in, he was holding a wodden stake wasn't he?" "Yeah I verbally abused him... but he deserved it, having the cheek to think he could kill an Old Blood of my stature... Also, he called your mother a blood sucking who.re and accused her of sucking much more than blood, and I just couldn't stand for that." "You did kill him after all taht didn't you? i mean you were never one for doing things by half, you were always one for making sure that a job is done properly." "yeah and you're a vampire, who'd of guessed it?" Dryac said the alst comment with a sarcastic tone, as he knew that his species were the more violent of the two. At that, Xaphan looked up at Rene, thoughts swimming through his headm memories from his past re-emerging, "Rene... it's been so long... we left on odd ends..." Niele turned when Rene did, as she was behind her she knew that theothers were approaching from behind, so she decided to wait until she turned, she nodded to Sumnor, Dryac and Xaphan, "Father, Uncle, Grandfather." She often called Dryac uncle as she had gotten so close to him he was like a brother, only he was a bit old for that so he was an uncle to her.

Rene glanced at Sumnor, reading the sarcasm in his comments and chooisng to ignore it. If she had not wished to be found, she wouldn't have been. It was that simple. Closing her eyes, she barely listened to Xaphan talk about his past with Sumnor as she tried to ignore her own.
Ezeah nodded at Xyen, then at Rene, just as the silver haired Old Blood opened her eyes. "My name is Ezeah, nice to meetcha." The Lycan smiled, laying herself on the stones of the street in a very dog-like manner; Rene nodding once in greeting.
"Odd ends, eh." She said quietly, allowing her crimson gaze to move from the fiery Lycan to the dark dressed Xaphan, her mind flitting over her own memories of what she clas.sed as a past life. One that was far behind her.
At this, both Xyen and Reiyn looked between the two Old Blood Vampires, confusion on their faces. "You know her already, Xaphan?" Xyen asked, his golden eyes focusing on Sumnor's father, curiousity in his voice.
"It was a long time ago." Rene replied before Xaphan could speak, Xyen looking at her and tilting his head, his ears erect. Reiyn simply shrugged, then went back to leaning against the wall, closing his eyes as he did so, Ezeah looking up at Xaphan, a question on her features.
"How do you know her, old man?" She asked, sitting herself up, awaiting the Old Bloods answer.

Xaphan frowned slightly, "Yes, odd ends, we didn't actually leave eachother still mates or even friends for that matter did we? I had only just gotten over my wife's death when I met you, it took me decades, and I have refrained from mating ever since we left eachother." Xaphan smiled and chuckled, poking Xaera in the head playfully, "Less of the old, pup, I can guarantee you there's at least one person in this world older than me, as long as that ensues I am going to be clinging to my youth." Sumnor's lips raised into a snarl as his father spoke, the tips of his fingers flaring the colour of blue for a split second before returning to their normal complexion, "Mates? Seriously? what happened to all this 'Oh, you're the only one' with my Mother? And mates? uhh, I'm going to need therapy for this... you're not as loyal as I thought you were obviously Father." Xaphan had a down-heartened ex pression on his features, "This was at least three centuries after your mother was killed Sumnor, I didn't even look at another vampire in that time, Rene was the one vampire to turn my head, and we never got serious, we were together a few years before... something, for lack of a better word, happened, and this is the first time we've seen eachother since." Dryac sat next to Xaera and Xyen, lying the same was as the red furred lycan, finding it comfortable, he started talking to her, nto too much interested in the vampires, he knew that their species were into complicated relationships, "So... what type of lycan are you? I never really got to talk to you abck there."

Xyen was the whole situation with confused features, despite the fact he seemed to understand the entire situation. He glanced over his shoulder at Reiyn, who true to himself, was still leaning against the wall, eyes closed.
Sighing under his breath, the black Lycan turned back to the others, standing on all fours, ears flicking either side, keeping track of humans in the vicinity. Afterall... If a human happened to walk in on this, well... It would take some explaining... If they didn't call the cops immediately.
"This is a rather unusual situation, but I suggest we discuss it elswhere. Once we get to Sumnors hometown, you can talk." He glanced around. "But we really should move." Padding away from the group, Reiyn followed; Rene simply watching as they pas.sed.
Ezeah looked at Dryac, tilting her head slightly. "What do you mean, what type of Lycan am I?" Her ear flicked in the general direction of Xyen, before she glanced over and saw them walking away. "We should probably go" She chuckled. "I think the big guy has a point, humans aint exactly... Lenient." She stood up, and padded after the others.
Rene sighed. "Alright." For the first time that day she walked with the group, slightly behind Xyen and Reiyn, her mind elsewhere.

Sumnor frowned, "This is the town, past this gate and we're in the city itself. Anyway, I suppose we'd better see if our castle's still standing, that'd give us somewhere to stay for a night or two." Dryac placed the palms of his hands on the ground either side of his head, and with a slight push, flipped around and landed on his feet, transforming into his human form mid-air, "I mean, are you pure? mix? or all together unpure lycan? I'd guess at least mix by the colour of your fur." Xaphan's eyes flared red for a split second before he turned on his heels and began to walk to the gate, a human cutting him off half way, "Who are you and what do you want?" "I'm a guard, human vampire hybrid." "I thought you were part of that plague, I could smell it on you" "We're not a plague, We're a protectorate of sorts, No Non-humans permitted beyond this point, not without a permit." "Non-humans? I'm glad to be non-human, at least this way I don't stink, and judging by the last few minutes I've had, you really shouldn't stop me getting into my own town, cause what's stopping me and my son here from draining you dry?" Sumnor walked to his father's side, his bright red eyes flaring slightly, "Sounds good to me, after all we are only trying to get to our home, what's the world coming to when a few vampires and lycans can't go to their own home to rest?" "That's not the point sir, and I doubt this is your home, this city hasn't allowed non-humans for centuries." "That's a bit non-PC isn't it? That is what all you humans keep chatting on about isn't it? And you obviously don't grasp how old we are." "We're of the original breed, we're Old Blood, I and my wife bought the castle in this city many millennia ago, Therefore we should own this town by right, now step out of our way." "That's not the point sir, you're not getting i--" At that point Sumnor grabbed the guard by the back of the head, pulled him into the bushes and drained him, walking out wiping his mouth dry and licking the blood from his hand, "Let's move on."
