Pausing, Xyen turned his head, focusing on Sumnor over his shoulder. Blinking, he inhaled, taking in the scents of the current area and sighing quietly. My my... He was really not in it, having missed the fact they were already at their desired location. Shaking his head, he transformed, once again returning to his human body; Placing, as was habit, both hands into the opposite sleeves of his robes.
As the Lycan made his way to the gate, Reiyn walked beside him, hands in his trench coat pockets and eyes on the entrance to the main city beyond. Just behind him, Rene strolled with an air of impatience. She was, again, feeling just slightly cramped, and having Xaphan in the vicinity wasn't exactly helping.
She stopped a little way away, not bothering to watch as Sumnor and Xaphan dealt with the somewhat stubborn gate guard. Reiyn, Xyen and Ezeah however, watched with curious eyes; Reiyn jumping to the conclusion that they acted too rashly, and Xyen simply thinking about just how similar father and son were turning out to be. Ezeah was simply watching for the sake of it... Afterall, she knew just how Xaphan could be, and this sort of scene wasn't really all that unusual with him.
"Let's." The Lycan replied with a slight smile, strolling past the two Old Bloods and through the now guard-less gate; His Vampire companions following shortly after.

Sumnor pulled the jacket of his suit off, beginning to lose his temper with the suit, it had really lost it's novelty, a vampire in a suit, he dumped the jacket in a bin, he was now in the pinstripe trousers, a smart shirt with the arms rolled up, a pinstripe vest, red tie and red bracers. "That's better, a lot more comfortable and a lot more breathable, this is much better for moving... i can't wait to get to my wardrobe though..." Dryac noticed that Sumnor was starting to get irate with his own appearnace, which was odd as Dryac was as well, he slowly slinked into a barbers and stole a pair of scissors, making plans for hsi hair to be cut later, he dumped Sumnor's trenchcoat in a bush and removed his own, putting his hands in two pockets of his combat trousers. "I really need to start caring about my appearance mroe as well to be honest, I must look like a tramp to anyone else." "Oh, but uncle, you've always looked like a tramp, why start to care now?" Niele laughed as Dryac shot her an amused ex pression, he had learnt to pick up when she was attempting to rile him. Sumnor pointed up towards a hill as Xaphan began to walk up it, "The castles just up here." "Sumnor, come here." Sumnor, on hearing his fathers words jogged and caught up, "What is it father?" "Just stay with me and stay alert." As the group neared the castle, Sumnor had already removed his bracers, tie and vest, already tored of them as well, his top button un-done. As they got close, dozens of villagers and half vampiric guards leapt out from behind bushes and columns, pitch-forks and other such melee weapons being wielded, the leader stepped forward spoke first, "Get your kinds out of our city, vampires." Sumnor sighed, not looking forward to have to hide these bodies, also not looking forward to the fight, he knew it was going to take a while, "This is our castle, leave our land before we have to kill you." "And drain our blood?" "No, actually, I can promise you that when we kill you, we will not spill a single drop of blood." As the first of the humans dashed towards Sumnor, he side-stepped, caught the human neck and twisted sharply, causing a quick break, before glaring at the villagers as they readied their weapons, he caled back to the group, "I hope you're all ready for a fight!"

Xyen came to stop just behind Sumnor and Xaphan, blinking in slight surprise at the group of villagers preparing to battle. It never really surprised him just how dense some of these people could be, but saying that... They we're incredibly brave to so much as stand up to the Vampires.
Turning on his heel, he walked back down the hill, hands in his robes, eyes to the ground. No matter what the Vampires chose to do, he was keeping to his own ideals; Sure... It made his life more difficult, but he was not willing to throw away everything he believed just for the sake of a few stupid and rash human beings.
Once he reached the gate they had entered, he leaned against the wall and sat on a small pile of large bricks, allowing his eyes to close as he kept his hearing and other senses alert. He refused to fight. He refused to kill them. The humans stood no chance, and he would not be responsible for the death of something so much weaker than him.
Ezeah was slightly confused by the black haired male's actions, the ex pression clear even on her wolf-ish face. She, unlike Xyen, had not taken her human form, and as such, she was revealed completely to villagers below. The flame furred Lucan had no issues with killing humans, but that was probably because she'd spent so much time with Xaphan, and clearly, he wasn't so soft natured.
Rene and Reiyn both watched Xyen with unreadable expressions, before Reiyn shrugged and went to stand by Sumnor. "Bring on the slaughter." He replied quietly. Like Xyen, he would have preferred to not fight at all, thanks to the black Lycans influence. Unfortunately, this situation seemed helpless.
Rene, as an Old Blood, was probably far more prepared to kill. Even humans. She looked away from Xyen, her crimson eyes focusing on the villagers. In all her years, she just couldn't comprehend why in hell a human would face off against a Vampire, even in groups. It was suicide.
As a rampaging male charge, pitch fork held aloft, Rene delibrately sliced her thumb with a fang, allowing blood to flow freely from the wound, collecting in her palm. The human didn't seem to notice, well... Not until it was already too late. The blood in Rene's palm shot straight through the humans heart like a needle. Once he fell, she brought the red stream back, folding it into her hand and creating what looked like a crimson whip. She hissed under her breath. How freaking pointless...

Sumnor immediately went into his fluid fighting style, breaking a neck before rolling over the falling carca.ss of his opponent, throwing a heavy punch to shatter the spine of another villager, throwing a few more punches to annialate the skulls of a few more, before turning back, the rest now focusing on the others, realising that Sumnor was too worthy of an opponent, and to think, he's only killed nine of their kind so far. Dryac turned savage, morphing into his lycan form, the scissors in his pocket creating a long, jagged silver streak up the right side of his body, suiting him well, his huge, furred lycan paw rolled into a fist as it flew through the head of a villager, before he brought it back through and broke the neck of another in a similar style to that of Sumnor, only less fluid and more savage, leaving the rest once he had killed about ten. Niele used her necromancy, created jagged edge whips from the shadows at her feet, using them to lash at and sverely gash villagers and half lycans, leaving a red mist of blood that hung in the air for what seemed like an eternity, her fangs embedded into the neck of another, draining it dry, she lashed at yet more villagers, finishing once she'd left seven lying dead. Xaphan fought in a similar way to his son, only he used his two heavy blades, swinging them through the air with surprising ease, severing heads, arms and legs with ease as well, leaveing the eight that attacked him dea, he decided to leave the remaining one and a half dozen to Reiyn and Rene.

Invisible blades of compressed air pressure sliced through the remaining villagers, the manipulator simply watching from his postition on the hillside as they fell, his dark gray eyes narrowing. As far as Reiyn was concerned, this entire battle was pointless... Why did humans feel the need to go against the Vampires and be stupid enough to follow through?... Surely they knew by now they had no chance...
As he watched, his ex pression blank, more people were sliced in half by his invisible blade, flying through the makeshift battlefield and making the kill both quick and painless; He didn't particularly want to upset Xyen by dragging out these human's deaths. The Lycan hated pointless killing, and he despised pointless torture.
The last of Reiyn's targets took their last breath, laying motionless on the now blood soaked hill; Rene dealing with the final few a good few yards away from him.
The silver haired, crimson eyed Old Blood swung her makeshift whip only once, her blood automatically changing the length as it cut through human flesh, so fast it didn't even give them a chance to scream. Every human that surrounded her was killed with that one motion, and once she had finished, she allowed the whip to return to it's previous liquid-like state, splashing blood onto the earth as she licked her thumb; Closing the wound and preventing further bleeding.
Ezeah watched, not bothering to get involved as the Vampires dealt with the rebellion. There was little point messing up her own fur for the sake of a few foolhardy villagers who clearly didn't know when to stop and think. Closing her eyes, she returned to her human form, then walked solemnly over to Xaphan, standing beside the Vampire, her eyes lost in thought as she contemplated the human mind.
After only a moment of silence, Xyen strolled back up the hill, coming to stand a little way away from Reiyn and Rene. "We should hurry." He said to them, keeping his eyes resoloutely away from the slaughter on the hill. "The quicker we make it to Xaphan's castle, the better."
"Agreed." Reiyn replied quietly, his eyes on the final human who had fallen. Despite everything, he still felt sorry for them.
"Shall we, then?" Xyen continued, looking over at Xaphan; His eyes haunted and his ex pression somewhat miffed at the events that had taken place.

Xaphan shrugged, wiping his blades dry on one of the ragged strips of cloth on his tattered robes, he used the second blade to point at the castle as he sheathed the first one, "That's her, she's not much any more, rain damage mostly, worn away the real texture of the bricks, but she'll keep us warm for a night, just like the love of a good vampress." As Xaphan finished talking, a villager ran at him, gun in hand, the silencer on, not a hit man or an agent, just an idiot, as he got close enough Xaphan took a step forwar, cucked under, held the gun wielding wrist with one hand and headbutted the villager hard, taking the weapon and using it against it's original wielder, "Idiot..." Xaphan looked at the gun in his hand, "Such un-sofisticated weapons, humans no longer appreciate the sleek-ness of a good blade." Sumnor chuckled at his father before rpessing on through the huge wooden doors of the castle, looking around at his childhood home, it seemed so much smaller now. "Help yourself to whatever you can find, clothes, weapons food and any other general supplies, if you find it it's yours, just stay out of my room, there's a few things in there that would turn the stomachs of even the most seasoned of vampires and lycans." Sumnor pushed on upstairs and Dryac followed, there was nobody else here he trusted enough to spend the night with, also what Sumnor had just spoken about spiked his interests, he had been able to stomach evrything so far, and he and Sumnor had been throguh a lot together, so he would have to see this. Sumnor was pacing down the corridor as he stopped, he saw an old fashioned white shirt, he pulled his off and donned it, he then grabbed an old black gothic jacket which he also pulled on, replacing the trousers of his suit with sleek black jeans, replacing his white trainers with hard, heavy black boots, just the right weight, he also pulled on a pair of black leather gloves, testing his biotics, they still worked. Whilst Sumnor was changing Dryac went to the nearest bathroom, it had a huge grand mirror in which he lkooked in to cut his hair, he cut it short, as close as he could get with the scissors, a surprisingly even jog, he then dropped his heavy trenchcoat and replaced it with a waist length black leather jacket, walking out he hastened to catch up with Sumnor who was walking towards his room, "That's a better look for you." "Yeah... now let's go get my sword and we'll get back to the others." "Uh, now that sounds good, I liked and I have missed that sword."

Ezeah followed Xaphan, keeping quiet as she entered the castle. During her last few years with the Old Blood she had never been here, though she had heard of it, many times. The home of Xaphan, his mate, and his son.
She was awed by the spectacular entrance hall, and remained where she was, glancing around the hall as Xyen and Reiyn entered. Both the vampire and the lycan remained with Ezeah as Dryac and Sumnor left; All watching the castle with curious eyes.
Rene had remained outside. Hell. There was no way she was going in there... The past meeting up with her today was bad enough, having to spend a night in the same building as them, especially Xaphan, was a huge no.
Turning on her heel, she shot herself into the air, coming to a land on one of the giant walls that surrounded the castle. Sitting, she crossed her legs, allowing her elbows to rest on her knees. She could handle it out here...

Sumnor kicked the door of his bedroom open, as he had boarded it from the other side when the castle was raided to stop the people getting in, he was merely a child abck then, looking around, memories of his mother and his father in the old days flooded his mind, millennia old, he smiled as he remembered himself being bounced up and down on his mother's knee, he followed the memory, seeing it in his room, loking around the room, seeing himself panicking as the invaders walked past his room, he bent and picked up his old sword, the blade was blood red, it could cut through it, as it divided atoms rather than what the normal blades do, it worked on a mollecular level. "How the hell did you get out from this high without opening the door?" "I jumped out of my window because I heard the hunters getting too close, luckily my vampire abilities had kicked in that night.""That is lucky, wait a minute, I'm younger than you, and I rememebr that night, surely they would have kicked in before then." "No, vampire abilities take a fair bit longer when we're old blood, and you are only 4 years younger than me. You only remember that night because it's when we met, we ran into you when we were running away from the city, my father took mercy on you and we grew to be friends." "Yes, baptismal of fire, and yet we've survived until today, you always had the better memory." "It's the psychic thing, it gives me a photographic memory." Niele walked in, knowing that her father was lying, she had been here before, only once but there wasn't really anything he mentioned like that, "What was all that about?" "Just a pretense, I didn't exactly want them rooting through my things, there's some personal stuff in here." Niele looked at the door which was now off it's hinges, "Not that I take it?"

"This is quite a spectacular place you have here." Xyen said, smiling at Xaphan before continuing to look around the magnificent entrance hall. Despite the general age of the castle and it's weathered look from the outside, the inside looked pretty much untouched, save for a few minor flaws.
A grand stairway resided on the opposite side of the hall, just across from the entrance itself; The walls were covered in tapestries and flaming torches, shadows flickering on the gray, stone flagged floor. The cieling was high, and harboured a couple of detailed paintings, both religious and otherwise. It was, by all means, beatiful, and with a little renovation and work, could be returned to its previous state, though that was probably a pointless proposition. Afterall, there seemed to be very little to improve on.
Chuckling to himself, Xyen looked over his shoulder at Reiyn, who was stood just beside the huge entrance doors, his eyes on the cieling art. "What is it like, Reiyn. To be inside the home of an Old Blood?... The oldest and truest of the Vampires in existance."
Glancing away from the cieling and at Xyen, Reiyn smirked, then closed his eyes and crossed his arms, leaning against the stone wall of the hall. "Impressive." He said, no hesitation in his voice. Despite his age, he was nowhere near as old as an Old Blood, and as such, could never truly comprehend just how long those creatures existed; And the lives they once lived. Hell. Old Blood was royalty to most of the Vampire race anyway, so Reiyn found himself instincitvely respecting them.
Xyen laughed, then exhaled, smiling. He allowed one last glance of the Hall before he realised they we're missing a member. No surprise, seeing as she never followed suit anyway, so he never truly felt the need to worry about her.
"I wonder where Rene got to?..."

Sumnor patted Dryac on the shoulder before walking out of his room, calling back to Niele, "It's just a door, they can be replaced." He put the sword in the sheath on his back, strapping it into place before going downstairs, not bothering to say anything about his new attire he went straight to business in approaching Reiyn. "Sorry but my hearing is impecible and these halls echo, and I heard you say impressive? and Old Blood was mentioned. Allow me to train you how to Flit-Fight." Xaphan looked shocked, "He isn't Old Blood, the training would take years." "Not with Reiyn, I sensed it when I first met him, his power, he is a lot stronger than all the vampires I have known taht weren't Old Bloods, and even a few that were, before they met their demise that is." Dryac followed, transforming and sitting on the banister of the stairs, staying perfectly still, looking like a stone gargoyle more than anything else, keeping guard already, for when the others went to rest. Niele went to an empty room, bedding down after kicking her shoes off, not too bothered about conversing with the others downstairs, she would leave the formalities to her father and grandfather.

Reiyn shrugged at Xyen's question, then glanced over his shoulder at the open doors of the castle. He couldn't see Rene from where he stood, and like Xyen, couldn't really worry over it, even if he wanted to. She was good at taking care of herself, and she liked to remind them of that fact constantly.
He looked back towards the others just as Sumnor appeared, walking straight over and immediately breaking into the Vampires personal space. His eyes narrowed in slight irritation as Sumnor made his proposal, and was about to answer with a rather scathing answer when Xyen spoke first.
"Not a bad idea, Sumnor... You should think it over, Reiyn, it could be useful." The Lycan said, smiling at Reiyn over Sumnor's shoulder. He knew how the dark haired Vampire was by personal experience, and didn't particularly want the hot-headed Vampire to become too insulted... It usually led to him being violent.
After a moment of silent glaring at their so called Leader, Reiyn closed his eyes. "Whatever." He said, leaning back against the wall. He didn't mind the proposition, his irritation was more the result of the forwardness of their new comrade. He despised it... "That is not a definate yes, however..." He opened an eye, and glared, despite the fact his irritation was quickly fading. He just couldn't be bothered holding grudges, it never sat well with him.
"Excellent!" Xyen replied in an over-cheerful manner, clapping his hands together.
Ezeah was stood beside Xaphan, giggling, her eyes on the Vampires by the door. She couldn't really understand the way Vampires acted, what with being so easily riled and all. It just made the situation somewhat amusing to watch, especially from a Lycan's point of view. They were, afterall, the more calm of the two species.

Sumnor winced, falling back and sitting on a crate, the alst day or two of travelling at the pace they had been had tired him, "I can't do it tonight, and I'll need a sparring partner to sow you howit's done, other than that I should find it easy to show you a few tricks." He placed his head in his hands, trying to think with his psychic ability, when doing this he could get ideas from other people without them speaking, it wouldn't work, so he merely sat up and faced Reiyn, "Anywhere picked out where you wanna sleep?" Dryac remained stationary, picking up on the signals being sent out by Sumnor, Dryac wasn't psychic, but he knew how to use these signals, tapping in he spoke to his friend telepathically, "You should rest, you're exausted, don't make it this far only to fall to feeling a bit sleepy." "I wont, but thanks for your concern," Xaphan crouched, resting his body, "I can't see any reason why we shouldn't look up a few of our relatives in the morning Sumnor." "I can, they're all dead." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Abadon was stalking the streets, nowhere to go in particular, his odd look gaining many speculative looks, he continued to press on, his hands shoved in his pockets, his swords in their sheaths well hidden beneath his coat.

Reiyn sighed and shook his head, standing away from the wall and putting both hands in his trench coat pockets. His initial irritation had left him, and now that he thought about it, learning a skill originating from the Old Bloods didn't seem like such a bad idea. "I havn't really had a chance to look..." He said in response to Sumnor's question, running a hand through his hair.
"You should." Xyen said immediately, relieved that Reiyn had calmed himself down so quickly. Though he shouldn't have been surprised, it was Rene who had that problem... "I'll be taking a look around myself a little later." Smiling, he looked back towards Xaphan. "If you don't mind, that is."
"He doesn't." Ezeah replied before Xaphan could, absentmidedly pulling on his arm. She did this purely out of habit, and half the time never even seemed to realise she was doing it. "Xaphan aint stingy, are you, Old man?" She asked him with a giggle, glancing up at the Old Blood as Reiyn made his way towards the staircase.
"In that case. I'll go exploring." ~~~ Only a short amount of time had pas.sed before Rene finally got bored of simply sitting. She still blatantly refused to enter the castle however, and figured she could probably do with feeding right about now.
Standing up on the old castle wall, she threw one crimson glance over her shoulder before jumping, landing just outside the courtyard and strolling in no particular direction. She eventually came upon the streets, her eyes roaming over suitable meals. Her mind was still processing the fact she'd seen Xaphan again, after so many years. She'd almost expected him to be dead by this point... Hoped even... Afterall, she refused to even aknowledge her past, and with Xaphan around, avoiding it in this way was going to be almost impossible.
Stopping dead, Rene's eyes narrowed as she caught the scent of blood and death. Basically, the scent of your avarage Vampire.
Her eyes flashed in the direction of said scent, and focused immediately on a male, walking with haste in directly towards her. Well, well. Looks like Xyen's merry little band weren't the only Vampires currently in this city...

Abadon's thirst was becoming over-whelming rather quickly, he was attempting to tame his hunger, make it so he could go much longer without feeding, he had already gone a fair week or two, but could not holdit in any longer, he slipped into a dark alley, grabbing the first man to come along, there was a muffled screama nd thens ilence, he exited the alley, his eyes as red as they always were, ttadning out against the red of his outfit. He immediately smelt a vampire, one of the Old Blood Blodline, he looked over in her direction shooting her a smirk and blowing her a kiss before leaping up onto the building he was by, just teasing her enough, hoping to get her to follow him, spike her curiosity perhaps. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Sumnor stood, Xyen and Reiyn, "You're both welcome to roam around the majority of the castle and take whatever you want, the only room you're strictly prohibited form going into it mine, it's the one with the doors off it's hinges, I dealt with that." Dryac chukled from were he was, causing Sumnor to shoot him a steady gaze, "I hope you're more silent than taht when you're on watch duty tonight." "I will be, don't you worry." "I like your style Dryac, I've always said you had gargoyle features." "Nice, Old man." Xaphan chuckled once the friendly barter with Dryac had come to an end, noting Ezeah pulling on his arm again, "Haha, agai with the old? And no, of course I don't mind, there's far too much stuff in this old heap for just I and my son to use anyway." Xaphan prodded Ezeahs forehead lightly. Niele jumped out of bed and put her trainers back on, she was finding t hard to get to sleep, so she had decided to go downstairs and talk with whoever was still in the vecinity. As she got into the hall at the front of the castle, she winked at Reiyn playfully before laughing, she was always one for teasing the male side of the vampire species, "So how are we all doing? Still all as blood thirsty as ever? Oh, and don't forget hairy." She shot a quick glance at Dryac, smilling at him.

Reiyn made his way past the others, attempting to ignore Niele's teasing nature, before making his way through the halls of the castle. Once he'd made it a good way in, he found an empty guest room, not as big as many of the others, but good enough. He glanced around, then looked out of the arched castle window, deducing it was around 6pm. Eh... It was too early for him to sleep.
Down in the entrance hall, Xyen was busy chuckling at the antics of Xaphan, Sumnor and Dryac. They we're an interesting group, that much was certain. "I'll take a look around a little later, then. There's little rush." He said, still chuckling.
Ezeah blinked at Xaphan, then pouted in a childlike manner. "You don't complain when Dryac calls you Old." She paused for a second, then smiled. "Old man~" Ducking away from the Old Blood so that he couldn't poke her in the head again, she burst out into giggles.
The dark haired Reiyn reappeared in the Hall at this time, raising an eyebrow at the commotion before walking down the stairway and coming to sit just beside Xyen, watching the red-headed Ezeah. This visit wasn't going to be relaxing... ~~~ Snorting quietly, Rene's eyes narrowed dangerously at the actions of the Vampire. What a pain in the rear. Despite any logical thinking, Rene's anger drive kicked in, and although she knew full well he was trying to provoker her, she went and followed him anyway. Like hell she was just going to walk away from that...
With one motion, she jumped onto the roof just as swiftly, eyes still narrowed, a hiss building in her throat. She hated creatures like this... So uncivilised and barbaric... She took a moment to think, wondering silently just why this.. thing, wanted her up here. She knew he'd been taunting. He probably had a death wish.

Xaohan stood, jogging after Ezaeh, not wanting to catch her, merely play with her, "I'm going to get you and poke that forehead of your young pup, just you wait and see" Xaphan was laughing, Ezeah being the only one to make him laugh since Rene. Sumnor glanced over as his daughter walked back into the main hall, "You're one to talk about bloodthirst, it's only you and Reiyn out of our current group of merry travellers that can't control it." "I can go longer than most." "I know, that's due to the conditioning I instilled into you since your birth, I didn't want you endangering yourself for a feed." Dryac hopped down and strolled over to Sumnor, his figure now taller and broader than his in the wolf form, but his strength still slightly under his friend's, "What was that all about with that guard guy out there then?" "That was both to get into the city and he had severly irritated me." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Abadon stepped out from the large Air conditioning unit he had been stod behind, blood still dripping from his chin, the anti-coagulant from his fangs still working, "my, my, my, and Old Blood coming to visit my part of town? That doesn't happen often unless they're trying to kill me, what is it that you want?"
