Alfred smiled, setting out the back before he moved to start putting sugar and stuff into the tea, making sure the water he was putting into it was hot enough that the sugar would dissolve first. "Well they're kind of like rolls but...I dunno flakier? They're really good," he said, laughed gently. "And unless you make them wrong they're usually really soft."
And now he decided to let the tea set aside, humming quietly as he pulled out a spatula for the French toast. "That's is pretty funny isn't it?" he giggled softly. "But I mean sweet tea and apple pie would be about as American as you can get," he said, grinning up at Ivan. "Or even just the apple pie, which is also something I should introduce you to if you haven't had it before."

Ahh, then he does mean the things that are also called scones... I had lost track of which version of English called them what. Ivan mused, feeling that he had a better grasp on what his friend was talking about now. Seeing as his first language was one that had different roots to the one he was speaking now, it was sometimes hard to keep track of synonyms. "I have not actually tried those, but I have heard that they are nice with cream." He answered, wondering why precisely the idea of making biscuits/scones incorrectly seemed so... funny. He was glad that Alfred was amused by his joke, too, and he watched what was going on with the spatula as he considered his next answer. "I like pies~ I have tried little apple pies that came from McDonald's before now, but never larger than that, nor homemade. The idea does seem very American, doesn't it? Well, there is plenty of time for me to try your pies sometime~"

Alfred giggled quietly, smiling as he continued to fix breakfast with Ivan. "Well I'm not sure how well I can make pies and stuff just following a recipe but I can certainly try," he said with a soft laugh, setting aside the bacon once it was done and just overall happily buzzing about the kitchen as he and Ivan cooked, both excited about eating a good breakfast and about getting to see how Ivan looked when he really was in a field of sunflowers. He had to admit that that was what he was looking forward to the most.

((Bwaww~ So cute! Ahh, you make good chibi people~))
"It will be fun to try it out, da? It things go wrong, well, we could always try again some other time, and maybe it would be funny." Ivan responded, smiling. Things were starting to smell pretty good, and it wasn't long before their breakfast was ready. "Ahh, it smells so good~ Time to eat~" Ivan grinned, helping Alfred to dole it out onto their plates. He didn't wait very long to begin tucking in, as he was quite hungry, though he wondered how the tea was doing. He hoped that Alfred didn't think he was acting like a pig, stuffing his face like that, but at least he wasn't a messy eater.

Alfred giggled again, turning to head to the tea to push it to the side and pull out glasses, filling them with ice from the freezer before pouring the tea, prioritizing giving Ivan his glass before he wandered out to where he could start eating as well, grinning. "Man it's been forever since I actually bothered making French toast," he said happily, grinning around the rather delicious breakfast that he and Ivan had made.
((Ahahah thanks ;v;' Chibis are all I've really been drawing in the ways of people recently lol))

"Ahh, thank you." Ivan responded, taking the cool glass from Alfred and sipping at the tea within. "Hmm~ Is nice~" He hummed, a smile spreading itself slowly across his features. He was relieved that his friend didn't seem to think that he was eating greedily, so he continued to consume his breakfast at the same rate as before. "It has been a while? It is good, all the same. I would not guess that you might be out of practise." He added, once he had cleared his plate. "Ahh, I am nice and full now~ How about you?"
((The thing I was trying to draw went a little wonky, I'm going to have to start again. I got something on my hand, and it spread.))

Alfred flopped back once he was done as well, laughing softly. "For now, yeah," he responded with a wide grin, stretching out. "So after I go take a quick shower I'm ready to hunt down that sunflower field!" he said as he hopped up. "Remember you're free to do whatever you want!" he said with a grin before he turned to head to his room so he could pull out clothes to pull on after his shower.
He also gabbed his glasses, which lay on his nightstand from the last time he'd had to wear them to study HE didn't have to use them often, but since he may need to use his GPS, which...ended up being a bit too small for him to read without his glasses, he figured it'd be safe to have full use of his vision.
((Ugh I hate when that happens 8c))

((Well, I think I did the arms wrong, anyway. Maybe I should try to draw both of them? I'll see what I can come up with... If it doesn't work, I have a backup plan.))
"Okay, you enjoy your shower~" Ivan responded, smiling, before gathering up their plates and things in order to carry them over to the sink and wash them. Scrubbing the dishes like this, it gave him some time to think awhile, and his mind began to return to the night before. His dream had been very disturbing, and he couldn't begin to think what it could have meant, but at least Alfred had showed up... Had he disturbed his friend's sleep? Thinking about it that way, he felt a little guilty, but he had that to thank for a peaceful slumber for the rest of that night, so he couldn't say that he regretted it. Alfred had come into his room to comfort him, instead of trying to ignore it, and he'd even climbed onto the bed - even after what Ivan had told the American about himself. It made him go pink, thinking about that. It had been very comforting, and not lewd in any way, so he had no reason to feel embarrassed. Still, there was still the fact that he had gone to sleep in Alfred's arms... Nyet, don't think about that. He did not see it in a weird light, so I don't need to worry - if he was going to say anything, he would have already done so. Think about the sunflowers instead. He scolded himself, drying the dishes, before launching into a happy little daydream about a field full of the radiant blooms.

True to his word about taking quik showers, Alfred was out of the bathroom in under half an hour, only having taken that long so he could wash and dry his hair (he'd rather not end up getting sick because his hair was wet). Considering he felt completely at ease with Ivan in the house he stepped out of the bathroom pulling his shirt on over his head before he slipped his glasses on and stretched his arms above his head. It was nice being able to just be in jeans and a soft shirt as opposed to what he actually had to wear when he was working.
"I'm ready when you are!" Alfred said after he retrieved his phone to use for GPS, going ahead and seeing if he could find any locations that way. He wanted to deliver on his promise as soon as he could.

"Ahh, sorry, I have only just finished putting the dishes away, I still need to get dressed. My pyjamas are nice, but I don't think that it would be good to wear them outside..." Ivan responded, turning. He was startled when he saw the glasses that Alfred was wearing, getting another one of those strange familiar feelings. "Oh! I did not realise that you wore glasses." He added, feeling a little awkward. "Ah, hang on, I need to put some clothes on." Now feeling as though he was late, Ivan went rushing into the bathroom to make sure that he would not get smelly if it got hot - that would be embarrassing, and then hurried into his room to throw some clothes on. He dressed himself in a casual shirt he'd found in the same colour as his eyes, and some blue trousers, then made his way back to Alfred. "Sorry about that - I forgot that I hadn't got ready yet."

"Hm?" Alfred blinked once before he grinned. "Oh yeah, these things. I can't read really small print and since I havne't really ventured to any of the fields I figured I should probably have full use of my vision while using the GPS," he said with a soft laugh, waiting patiently for Ivan to come back out, by then having slipped into a jacket that he'd gotten from his parents as a birthday present and, besides Penny and his car, was one of his favorite things he'd ever gotten. It was a brown leather jacket, usually called a bomber jacket, and had the number 50 in white on the back. Alfred nestled into the near-black fuzz that was around the collar, rather enjoying the familiar feel it had always provided. "It's probably still kinda cold out there. Do you have a jacket or something? If not I might have something that you can wear, but I'm not really sure," he said with a sheepish smile.
((I had to put the bomber jacket in. xD I love it way too much.))

((I quite like it as well. Maybe some of their things actually made it out - like if the monsters chucked them out as junk, and people found and sold them? I bet that would have given their bosses nightmares... If not, it's always possible that there was similar stuff. I like Ivan's coat as well, so I'll put that in - that, and I'm wondering whether the scarf he's got is his original...))
"Ahh, I see." Ivan responded, once again struck by a familiar sort of feeling at the sight - something that was an odd mixture of wistful sadness and happy recognition. How odd. He has a ruff now, like a Maine Coon~ Ivan thought to himself, amused. "A coat? Ah, well, I have an old long coat I found in a second hand store once. It's a pretty old style, but it's quite comfortable, and the pockets are deep. I could even fit a bottle of vodka in them if I wanted to~ I don't, but that isn't the point. Hold on, I'll get it." He replied, bustling back to his room to ransack his belongings. In short order, he returned, garbed in a pale creamy-brownish coat that was, indeed, rather long.

Alfred blinked, cocking his head a little bit as he took in the jacket, nostalgia smacking him fairly hard for...some reason. Well, Ivan had said it was old-style, so maybe he'd seen something similar at some point. "Alright!" he said once he regained his senses. "Ready to head off to find the sunflowers?" he asked with a smile, rubbing the back of his neck with a wide smile.
((Yeah that's entirely possible ovo Because didn't...I think Lithuania like, donate one of Russia's new jackets to a museum thinking it was old I'm sure similar things have happened witht he other countries so it's entirely possible there are replicas ovo))

((Yeah, he did, didn't he? Perhaps they all had duplicate outfits in case they damaged their favourite clothes while fighting each other, or in case one set got too worn out?))
Ivan wasn't entirely sure what to make of Alfred's reaction, but he decided that it was probably the same as his own, and decided to move on from it. "Oh, da!" He nodded enthusiastically, his features lighting up like a Christmas tree again at the very mention of going to see sunflowers. "Ahh, it has been my dream for so long - it's almost hard to believe that it's really coming true~" He murmured, looking as though he were an excited child who was about to be presented with a pile of candy.
((If they're both in their old outfits, or close enough, it would be rather obvious to anyone in the know about nations who they were, so it'd be easier to spot them when they're dressed like this... Wouldn't it be funny if they found a place where they used to meet up when they were alive before?))

((Oh true true O: and yeah it would wouldn't it. I bet memories would smack them pretty hard if they did ;v;))
Alfred grinned at Ivan's reaction and started to the door, holding it open for the Russian to head out as he grabbed the keys to his car. "Then off we go!" he said happily, pleased that he was able to grant what seemed to be one of Ivan's greatest dreams. "You know, I'm pretty glad that I got to be the one to do this," he stated, grinning at his companion with an excited look as well. It wasn't every day you got to do this for someone, after all.

((Indeed, though I'm not sure in what form. Emotion, impression, words, images: there are many possibilities.))
"Da, da da!" Ivan agreed, practically bouncing as he preceded Alfred out of the house. "Ahh, I'm so excited~" He burbled happily, taking his place at the passenger door, waiting for the car to be unlocked. It felt as though there was a tightly coiled spring inside him, waiting to release its tension in a big explosion of sheer happy, and his face was aglow with this emotion. "I'm glad that it is you also - it is even better to think that I will see sunflowers with a friend~"

Alfred grinned as he stepped over ot the driver's side of his car to unlock it and slide in, pulling up his GPS on his phone and setting it aside to give him directions to lead him to the vague area in which he needed to go to grant Ivan's longtime wish, an where they could spend a good few hours. Hopefully it would indeed warm up so Ivan could experience it properly. "Oh! And we can even go back there once in a while, so this doesn't have to be the only trip," he said with a wide smile up at his friend.
((That is an excellent question o: ))

Ivan parked himself down on his seat as soon as he was able to, and strapped himself in, bouncing a little in his seat for a moment, before he realised that it would be a distinctly bad idea to distract the driver, and made himself stop. "Yay~ I would like that very much~" Ivan warbled, too happy to actually care that he sounded like a child. He might feel sheepish about it afterwards, but there wasn't really room for that in his head right now - it was waaay too full of happy. His spun-sugar hair shining in the sunlight through the windows of the car, Ivan beamed merrily at Alfred. "You're like a genie - you are good at granting wishes~"

Alfred laughed softly, getting the car cut on and into gear before heading off, looking surprised as he looked over at the other male curiously. "Wishes? Have I granted others?" he asked, not really recalling Ivan saying much else beyond the sunflowers, but it was entirely possible that he had forgotten or hadn't been paying full attention or something. Even if he hadn't, the big one was fairly easy to accomplish and he knew it meant a lot to his new friend. So just like Ivan had sat through three entire movies for Alfred's sake, he was going to try his darnedest to get Ivan to a field of sunflowers.

"... Da." Ivan responded softly, still smiling brightly, but with a more wistful look in his eyes. "I wished that I could have a really good friend, someone who cared about me, and understood me. You have granted that wish simply by existing, being the way that you are, and by befriending me." He would have probably felt a lot more awkward admitting something like this if he weren't in such a state of elation already, but there was nothing of the sort stopping him from answering right now. "I have been on my own for such a long time now, I didn't think it would happen - but here you are, and you are taking me to see a field full of sunflowers~ Ahh, I'm so happy, I think I might cry~"
