Alfred automatically curled his fingers around Ivan's when the other took hold of his hand, using his free one to fish out his phone, getting it to the camera and offering it out to Ivan with another wide smile. "Almost forgot that we said we were gonna make a photo album," he said, his smile quickly growing to a full grin. "Since this place is the most special to you, I think you should get to take the pictures," he added, moving carefully to adjust his end of the scarf a little bit so it was around him better, warm and soft and distinctly Ivan. "I have plenty of space on there too so take as many as you want and we can choose from them later."

((I just wanna squish them~))
Ivan would have smiled wider when he felt Alfred's fingers twine with his own, but he simply couldn't make his mouth stretch up any further. For some reason, he could hear his heartbeat in his ears, but he paid it no heed. "Ah! Thank you~" He chirped, accepting the camera. He eagerly pointed it at the sunflowers directly in front of them, then at Alfred - who was framed nicely by the flowers - and at himself. He tried to get one with them both in, taking more than one snap just in case, then continued his quest to jam that camera with as many sunflowers as he could manage before his arm got tired. In a few of the shots, he managed to catch more than just sunflowers in front, including the rolling expanse of yellow in those pictures as well. Eventually, he handed the camera back to Alfred, eager to see what his friend made of his efforts.

Alfred couldn't help but let out what was turning into only one in a flurry of giggles he was likely to be releasing over the course of his time with Ivan when the camera was pointed his way, still smiling wide as he watched the Russian happily taking pictures. When it was time to take a look he huddled a bit closer and took hold of the phone, flipping it so he could scroll through the photos without letting go of his friend's hand. "Aw man these are gonna look great printed out!" he said happily, grinning up at Ivan before he flipped it around to snap a quick shot of Ivan, hoping to capture him expressing some form of joy because good grief this man was so damn cute it should be illegal. Not that he was going to say that specific line out loud, but he'd already alerted Ivan to the fact that he was a large, adorable kitten, so he figured Ivan would get the gist of it.

The rippling giggles that Alfred had begun to produce were just so cute that Ivan couldn't help but join in. In fact, he couldn't stop giggling, even while his friend was flipping through the pictures he'd taken. He was taken by surprise when Alfred pointed the camera at him, and there was no time for his ex pression to shift into one of surprise before the shutter sound effect told him that he had just been photographed. Shift it did, though, but only briefly - it took care of his giggles, anyway. "Did you just take my picture?" He asked, for all that it was quite obvious that this was indeed what had just happened. "Ahh, my face is achy - I think I smiled too much." He added ruefully, rubbing his face with his free hand. After pulling some rather funny faces, in an attempt to make it feel better, he gave Alfred a smaller - but no less jubilant - smile. "Maybe I should smile like this more often, so that my face can get used to it~"

((I have not 8O I only recently got back into Hetalia though lol ;v; ))
Alfred grinned triumphantly, moving to flip to the photo he'd taken to show Ivan. "Yup!" he responded. "You were too happy not to keep it recorded after all!" he said happily before he laughed, setting his phone in his lap and lifting his free hand to lightly tap the other's cheek with a couple of his fingers. "If it's any consolation I'll make sure you keep smiling," he said. He meant it, too. If he could do something to make Ivan keep smiling he would. "You might even start to rival me!" He added, tossing in an exuberant fistpump at the sky before he ended up flopped against Ivan, his behaviorisms most likely one again resembling that of an overly excited puppy.

((I'm glad you got back into it when you did, I'm really enjoying this RP~ :3))
"Ahh, I did not know I could look so cute!" Ivan exclaimed, startled, when Alfred showed him the picture. "So this is why I am Kotenok, da?" He added, chuckling softly. He felt a light touch on his cheek, his eyes moving to view what was going on, and his own free hand moved up to rest his own fingers on the place where Alfred's had tapped him. "You will? You think I could?" Ivan mused aloud, wondering what it would be like to smile as much as Alfred did, before regarding his friend's next actions with bemused fondness. Well, if he was a kitten, then it seemed as though Alfred was definitely a puppy. There was no way that he couldn't draw that comparison, it was simply too obvious. "Well, if anyone could do that, then it would be you." He agreed, after a moment's thought, resting his head against Alfred's as the blond leaned against him.

Alfred laughed softly. "That is EXACTLY why you are 'kitten', Kotenok," he responded before he nodded, happily burrowing deeper into the scarf around him and Ivan. "And of course you could! Look how much you've already been smiling!" And what a smile he had. Alfred's own smile shifted into another fond ex pression before he relaxed against Ivan, his ex pression soon changing to a more soft, gentle kind of smile. "I'm glad you think so," he said after a moment. "Because I'm definitely going to try to find more and more ways to make you smile like that."

Ivan blushed a little, still unused to so much praise, and enjoying the feeling of Alfred snuggling into his scarf beside him. "Ahaha, I did not fully understand why you had given me that name before I saw this picture." He laughed, encouraged by Alfred's words. "I suppose that is a good point, I am practising already~" He added, growing more relaxed himself as he felt his friend relaxing next to him. "You are a good example, da?" He mused aloud, before taking in the last thing that Alfred had said to him. "You... you will? I am touched~ Other than my parents, nobody has made such an effort to make me happy." I will have to write to them some time - they will be so glad that I have finally found a friend!

Alfred nodded. "Mhm. I'm definitely going to try my best to keep you smiling, because you have a wonderful smile," he stated. reaching up to gently poke the other's cheek. "And since you have such a nice smile I think it should be used as often as possible, wouldn't you agree?" He grinned. "Oh! This is like, totally out of the blue, but do you like music and stuff? Because I have a guitar at home and I could totally bring it with us on picnics."

Unsure what to think of it, but finding the gentle squishing of his cheek by Alfred's finger somehow endearing, Ivan couldn't help but give his friend a grin - even though his face had been protesting not so long ago. "Ahh, thank you, that is nice of you to say... Your smile is also very nice - it lights up whatever place you are in~ I wish I could do that so easily." He responded, booping Alfred's nose playfully. "Music? Oh, da! I like to sing~ I even know some songs in English - YouTube is very useful for that. I have not heard a guitar in person before, so that is something I would look forward to~ I did not know you had such a talent." He replied, both intrigued and enthused. A picnic, with just the two of us in this sunflower paradise, and a guitar... That sounds almost - Nyet! I should not think of it like that! Alfya is being very nice to me, but that does not mean that I should think about it too deeply. I do not want to make any stupid mistakes. Of course it would not be a... date. Only a friendly picnic, that is all! Stupid brain...

((Oh but Ivan baby that's exactly what it is :'D))
Alfred laughed softly as his nose was tapped by the other's finger, moving his phone back to his pocket before he pulled his knees up to his chest again, looking up at Ivan with a smile. "What all songs do you know? Maybe I know them on guitar too so we can have a duet thing going on!" he said, grinning, despite the blush that had dusted his cheeks when he was told he lit up rooms when he smiled. "And you know, I'm pretty sure you could light up rooms with your smile too, Kotenok," he stated, tilting his head a little bit.

"Hmm? A duet?" Ivan asked, startled out of his self-berating train of thought by Alfred's query and suggestion. "Ahh, that sounds quite interesting." He agreed, trying to remember the titles of the songs he knew in English. "Well, I know a lot of the Disney songs - particularly from the films with the lions in... Ahh, what else? I know Fix You, and Lullaby for a Stormy Night, and Safe and Sound - I always forget who wrote or sang them - ahh, and I know October and April, and... You Are My Sunshine... Do you know any of those?" He responded, looking upwards while he spoke, a mannerism of his when trying to remember something. Looking back towards Alfred, he blinked. "I could? Well, if you say it is so, then it must be true~"

Alfred nodded at those songs. "Uh, I can kind of play Safe and Sound, and I can most definitely play You Are My Sunshine," he said thoughtfully. "And those Disney songs wouldn't be too difficult to teach myself if I try hard enough I think since they're usually pretty simple," he said softly,, then he nodded and smiled up at Ivan. "Okay yeah we can definitely have a picnic and a musical thing!" he said happily. "Though I will warn you now that I haven't actually messed with my guitar for a while so I can't promise too much skill." He chuckled softly.

"That's good, da?" Ivan responded, already looking forward to it. It was rather fortuitous that Alfred already knew some of the songs he'd mentioned - including one of his favourites, and he could easily imagine guitar strings strumming in the sunlight. That gave him a tickly warm happy feeling. "They do tend to be, don't they? Ahh, but they can be fun to sing~ I hope you don't mind that I wasn't specific about the Disney songs - it is just that there are so many of them." He added, feeling a little bit embarrassed about the quantity of such songs he actually knew. "It is okay, it doesn't matter if you're rusty - I look forward to it all the same~"

((Well it's warm-ish and a couple months before Alfie's birthday do maybe April or May? Maybe on a friday in towards the end of May?))
Alfred chuckled. "Nah it's fine that you weren't specific," he responded. "We can look into that when we get back tot he house, after all," he said, before he grinned and started to hum Circle of Life to see if that was one that Ivan knew the words to, watching the Russian with a wide smile. He may not have his guitar, but he wasn't tone deaf, after all. He could still have fun with Ivan with them humming and singing.

((Sounds good to me~))
Ivan's face lit with recognition when Alfred began to hum, realising that he was being given a cue. "Oh, I definitely know that one! It is very famous, da?" He chirped, before taking a moment to get a hold of the notes, and to take a breath. "From the day we arrive on the planet," He began, his accented voice holding a light tenor tone, with a timbre that could best be described as 'slightly furry' - his accent adding a certain richness to the sound. "And blinking - step into the sun. There is more to see than can ever be seen - more to do than can ever be done~" He continued, taking care not to breathe in the middle of a word. It was interesting, matching his tempo to that of his friend, and this was indeed turning out to be fun. He continued to sing, throwing himself into the song. His voice danced across the notes as he lost himself in the music, until there were no more words to sing. It was probably a good job that they were in a place without bunches of people milling around, as he hadn't held back on the namesake lines of the piece - which would probably have startled any passers-by.

Alfred grinned as Ivan began to sing, listening rather happily to how his accent changed the way the song sounded, for the better in Alfred honest opinion. His humming grew a bit quieter in favor of him listening to his friend sing, laughing softly when it was done. "You're really good at that, man," he said, lightly nudging the other. "When I get my guitar we can sing together!" he said rather cheerily before he bounced a bit, seeming excited again. "But! Your turn to pick a song for me to sing!" he said happily, wondering what the other would choose. This seemed like a fun way to pass time in a sunflower field, after all.

"I am?" Ivan responded, pleased that his practice had paid off, and he chuckled a little when he was nudged. "Ahh, I can imagine it already - such fun~" He added, casting about for a song to use. Maybe something involving Buzz Lightyear, since he was supposed to be a space hero of some kind? ... No. Definitely not. The only Buzz-related song Ivan knew was I Will Go Sailing No More, which always made him cry. Hakuna Matata was fun, but so much of it was spoken that it would be just a little pointless, if he wanted to listen to Alfred's singing voice through the song. An idea occurred to him, and his ex pression shifted from mild and puzzled concentration into cheeriness as he began to hum. It was quite a recognisable song, considering that the movie it came from was well known, so he hoped that Alfred would get it. Besides, You've Got A Friend In Me was Woody's song, and Woody was a cowboy - cowboys were popular in America, weren't they?

Alfred waited eagerly for Ivan to choose a song, only to light up a bit when he recognized the song that Ivan was singing. "You've got a friend in me~" he started, his voice definitely not lacking in his usual energy as he looked up at Ivan. "You've got a friend in me! When the road looks rough ahead and you're miles and miles from your nice warm bed, just remember what your old pal said!" H giggled softly, realizing how well this seemed to tie to him and Ivan like it had to Buzz Lightyear and Woody.
His singing continued, still full of energy as he bobbed with the rather cheery melody the song had, bright blue eyes focused up at Ivan like he were singing it specifically for his sake.
((I'm not...really sure how to describe Alfie's singing besides...energetic and enthusiastic xD))

((That pretty much covers it, to be honest. (: ))
Ahh, he does know it~ Ivan thought gladly, upon seeing the light of recognition blossom across Alfred's features. His friend, it seemed, was a tenor as well, but certainly one with a bit more gusto than Ivan. It looked as though that energy of his reached pretty much everything he did when he was wide awake. Well, it gave the song a certain something, as did his American accent - this was how Ivan felt that the song should be sung, and he was enjoying it. It was amusing to see Alfred bobbing along to the beat - and actually quite cute as well, but Ivan didn't allow that to cause him to lose his place. His eyes are seeking mine - is he trying to tell me something? The Russian snuggle-kitten wondered, soft lavender eyes unable to look away, before he realised the parallel. Ohh, I see it now! We are like Woody and Buzz, only with no Andy to fight over~ Well, that explained the giggling, come to think of it. "You are good at this as well~" He happily informed his friend, once the song was over. "You made it sound as though we were around a campfire, if that makes any sense~"
