((No worries~))
"They... suit me? If that is the case, then I suppose that you may be right..." Ivan murmured, feeling a little self-conscious, but quite pleased by Alfred's assertion. "I suppose that I had doubted that the brightness would work, pale as I am. I am more used to wearing more subdued hues. If you would like, though, I could wear some things that are brighter." He added, smiling in a vaguely giddy manner as he felt Alfred's arms encircling him, and those gentle fingers returning to his hair. "Ahh, I have heard of heavy metal..." He responded, a little frown of concern furrowing his features at the thought of his American boyfriend in one of the moshpits described. He didn't like the idea of Alfred cramped among too many people - it seemed somehow wrong to think of him having an amount of space that only a tinned sardine would envy. The idea of him getting himself hurt was even worse. "You... do not go to these things often, da?" He replied, his tone somewhere between query and nervous request. "I do not like the idea of you becoming crushed, Solnyshka moi." He added, reaching for Alfred's hair now, to reciprocate the other's gesture and to soothe himself. Alfred seemed pretty relaxed, though, which helped, and what he said next brought the smile back to his face. "Oh, da, certainly! I would be happy to~" He chirped, before finding that his impulsive sweetheart seemed intent on staking a territorial claim on his lips. That was something of an odd metaphor to come up with, but it seemed to fit, somehow. The metaphor didn't matter, though, the kiss did - and that was very nice. It was gentle, but it was also more deep than before, and Ivan decided that the best thing to do would be to respond in kind, and do as Alfred did. After all, what his Shcheenok was doing was making Ivan happy, so doing the same thing would make Alfred happy, wouldn't it? There was really only one way to find out.

Alfred finally pulled back a little bit from their kiss, smiling up at Ivan. "You should wear it because you want to, not because I'd want you to," he stated before moving to place affectionate kisses along the other's jaw once again. May as well get all the cuddly affection in that he can before he has to work, right? "And nah, heavy metal has never really been my thing. I've been to tamer concerts that had moshpits, though, but they weren't too crazy," he murmured, smiling a little bit. "So no need to worry about me, Kotenok. I'm tougher than I look," he said with a quiet little laugh. "Takes a lot to knock me down and keep me there." It felt like it should take a lot to knock him on his butt and keep him from getting back up. Like it was ingrained in a part of his mind that only ever acted in his subconscious.

Ivan looked at Alfred, whose face was wreathed by a smile so like the others he'd seen him wear - one of those that made him wonder whether his sweet one's expressions were addictive - and gave him a little smile of his own. He nodded, about to try to formulate a verbal response, but the American had already begun to kiss his way along Ivan's jaw. Cheeks a little rosy, the Russian released another of those cute little happy noises that he had learnt Alfred found endearing. He was definitely enjoying all of the affection he was receiving. As for the clothing idea, well, he could just try out whatever he thought was a good idea, like usual. What was different was the idea that maybe he'd look okay in brighter colours, and that it might be amusing to wear a Hawaiian shirt occasionally. The notion that Alfred might like that wasn't to be sniffed at, but he got the impression that the exuberant blond preferred him to please himself first when it came to clothing, and he wasn't going to contradict him on that - it was nice. "I am relieved to hear that, Alfya." He murmured, booping Alfred's nose with his own playfully. "Myself, I... would not do so well in such a circumstance. Too many noisy people, and... not enough space. I am strong, da, and I can shove - but I would... not be having fun." He explained, reminding himself internally that he ought not project his own reactions onto Alfred - for all he knew, the American might find moshpits to be all part of the fun. He accepted the statement about Alfred being tough without question, as though it had always been implicit, and it seemed as though he had always known that Alfred would be the sort to spring right back up. It didn't stop him from thinking of what kind of damage Alfred might pick up in the process, though. "If it was me, crammed in with all those other people... I think I might panic." He admitted quietly, a sheepish ex pression on his face.

Alfred grinned rather wide when he heard Ivan's little happy sound, laughing softly when his Russian boyfriend booped their noses together. It was another behavior that reminded him of a kitten and made him smile even wider up until Ivan mentioned that he wouldn't have fun in a mosh pit. The smile instead grew softer as he lifted his hand to lightly poke at the other's cheek. "You don't have to worry about being taken to a mosh pit or anything," he told him gently. "I don't doubt you'd hold your own but they are indeed for fun, so if you don't feel like you'll have fun there's no point in trying to get you to one," he murmured before he shifted slightly to get comfortable again. "Dancing in general is meant to be for some manner of amusement, right?" Well, that's how he looked at it at least. If it wasn't fun what was the point in forcing yourself or someone else to do it? It would just be mean, and being mean to Ivan of all people was not what he wanted to do ever. The Russian may think himself scary sometimes, but all Alfred saw was an adorable, albeit rather large, cuddly kitten.

Ivan smiled softly, pleased by the wide smile his squeaking had provoked, and by the relaxed laughter his nose-booping had triggered. He tilted his head slightly upwards, no surprise with the fact that he had a pillow on the other side of his head, and giggled slightly when Alfred poked his cheek. He quite liked it when Alfred did that - though, to be quite honest, he couldn't really think of anything that the American did that he didn't like. He wondered whether his cheeks were fun to prod, being as cheeks tend to be squishy, and he decided to return the favour. For some reason, he could quite clearly imagine an irritated Alfred with his cheeks puffed out, and himself poking the air out of both cheeks at once - that was funny. "Spasiba." He mumbled, grateful for the assurance that he wasn't about to be dragged along to such a thing. His boyfriend was somewhat impulsive, so it wouldn't have been out of the question for Alfred to do so, but it seemed as though knowing how Ivan would react to it made a difference. "Mm, da, that is so." He responded, when Alfred mentioned dancing being for enjoyment, shifting slightly himself. "I do enjoy dancing... it is the smallness of space that would be putting me off, as well as having many noisy people so close." He elaborated, hoping that Alfred would, true to form, understand. He didn't doubt that he would, but he still felt the need to see and hear Alfred's reaction for himself - for reassurance, he supposed.

Alfred, after a little bit longer of sitting still, was starting to feel antsy and squirmed a little bit. He gave Ivan a sheepish little grin. "Sorry, gettin' a little antsy from sitting still for so long this early," he said with a little laugh, ending up having to completely shift positions and flop dramatically across Ivan's lap, arms underneath his head to prop it up since he no longer had a pillow to do so. "Though I guess to be fair I'm also not usually up this early, but with cats I guess you end up sleeping however they want you to sleep," he said with a chuckle and a small little shrug. "Anyways, yeah. Not everyone's okay with the whole small spaces and crowds thing and I know that." He stretched out his legs to let them dangle over the edge of the bed, smiling a little bit. "I'd be a pretty big jerk if I tried to force you there knowing you didn't like it, right?" He stated just before grinning deviously and spontaneously twisting to sit up slightly and attack Ivan's sides, mostly just so he could hear him laughing like he had the previous day. The man was adorable as hell so who could really blame him for wanting to see him laughing more?

"Ahh, is no bother - you move as you please." Ivan responded, amused, as the squirmy American flopped across his lap space. It had taken him a little by surprise when that had happened, but Alfred hadn't hurt him or anything, so he didn't mind. It was also a pretty good view, Alfred all stretched out and flopped, with his face propped up by his arms. That was not something to complain about. He wasn't uncomfortable with the weight that was spread across his lap as a result, either - it was Alfred, and it was reassuring for that reason. He could tell that the flopping had been playful, possibly affectionate, and that sort of thing made him happy. "Mmm, cats do tend to do as they please..." He mused, trailing off when he reached the end of his thought. He was kind of glad that the cats had woken them - he liked that they had chosen to include the bipeds in their morning - even though it had meant awakening earlier than necessary. "Spasiba." He mumbled, glad of his sweetheart's easy understanding - it seemed to be a part of his nature, really. "I do not think you would be very good at being a jerk, as nice as you are." He commented, smiling. That was when he registered the roguish cast to Alfred's features - it was too late, though, and the devilish glee painted across his boyfriend's usually-angelic face told as much. "Ah - ah - ayiiiihihihiiihii!" Ivan spluttered, taken aback by the abrupt twist and tickle offensive. His sides were just as ticklish as his belly - it was looking as though most of him was probably ticklish, actually - and he had begun to twitch helplessly. Batting ineffectually, he writhed under Alfred's fingers, and wondered vaguely whether their cats thought them mad.

Alfred laughed softly as he shifted slightly to get a better vantage point for the playful 'torture' he was bestowing upon his boyfriend. He didn't keep it up for too long, though, not wanting to possibly risk upsetting the Russian. Since he was finished torturing him, he draped himself on top of the other, nuzzling his neck idly. "Feels good waking up with someone here with me," he murmured with a wide smile. "Not that Penny wasn't nice to wake up to but it's pretty hard to have a conversation with a cat." He glanced over in the direction of the clock and frowned. "Gonna have to go start getting ready here soon," he murmured softly. Well, at the very least he knew he'd smell better after a shower and be more presentable in actual clothing appropriate to leave the house in as opposed to his pajamas.

Ivan giggled helplessly while he was 'tormented', wriggling like an eel, and continued to giggle for a few moments after being released. That was when the hiccups started. He wasn't sure how that felt for Alfred, who seemed to have decided that the ticklish foreigner would make a lovely cushion to rest on, but he figured it would be a little weird. Probably not unpleasant, though. He spluttered a little when he felt his boyfriend nuzzling his neck - due to the fact that the squeaky noise he'd been making had been interrupted by a hiccup. After a moment, though, he was able to agree. "Da, is nice~" He - well, the tone of his voice could probably be best described as somewhere between a croon and a sigh. Contented. "Mm. I have n- *huakk* not had anyone waking up with me since I was small - no pet." He added, his ex pression more sheepish when he fell prey to the waiting hiccup. "Oh... I suppose you are right." He mumbled, before hiccuping again as he glanced over at the clock. "Time to b- *uuk* be moving?" He was still a touch reluctant, but that was more laziness and unwillingness to relinquish cosiness than anything else. He knew he'd still be around Alfred, and they'd have had to shift themselves sooner or later.

Alfred smiled a little bit. "Unfortunately," he said with a sigh, moving to give Ivan's cheek a soft kiss before he finally climbed off the bed to stand up again, taking a moment to stretch before he moved to go find his uniform and whatever else eh felt he needed so he could go shower. "Well at least you get to come with me to get me through the slow parts of the day," he said with a soft laugh, leaning down to give Ivan a soft, proper kiss before he turned to trot off to the bathroom in order to go shower and then get dressed. Since he didn't have a lot of hair so he could just towel it dry so Ivan could shower next should he choose.

((No worries~))
Ivan smiled, despite knowing that their peaceful snuggle time was at an end. His fingers moved to lightly touch the place where Alfred's lips had met his cheek, and his gaze followed as the American stretched. It looked a little like when cats stretched, he mused - except that cats did so on all fours. While slightly distracted by the notion of a cat trying to stretch like a human, and by simply watching Alfred, Ivan raised his own arms into the air and arched his back. He had stopped hiccuping by now, but he'd been caught by a yawn instead, so he wasn't able to make eye contact when Alfred began to speak again. It only took a moment for his yawn to abate, though, and he nodded amiably as he lowered his arms. He would likely have said something in agreement, but he never got around to doing so, as Alfred drew closer. Amethyst eyes met azure, and Ivan could tell what was coming. He felt a little flutter inside him, and he tried to angle his face so that there would be less chance of his nose getting in the way. After all, the American was actually higher up than him at this point, so that nose could have posed a problem. Thankfully, it didn't in this case, and the kiss was soft and sweet. It was moments like this that made him believe that it was all worth it, though he didn't know quite what he would mean by 'it all' - it was only a fleeting impression that he didn't think to grasp at. As far as he was concerned, though, it wouldn't matter - this would make anything worth it, if only to find love and contentment with his sunshine. He watched, slightly lost in the moment before, as Alfred made his way out to attend to his ablutions. Well, he had already known that the American, once in motion, was likely to continue to be in motion. That was fine, and part of what he liked about the bouncy fellow. Now then, what am I going to wear after my turn? He mused, getting up. Time to dig through his case.

Alfred, having already been more awake than before and more full of energy, didn't stay in the shower for very long despite the warm water being immensely comforting. He let out a soft yawn and stretched while enjoying the water, then just proceeded to scrub himself off and wash his hair before he cut off the flow. At the very least it'd be more hot water for Ivan when he took his shower. After drying off his body enough to clothe his lower portions, since his hair was still wet, he exited the bathroom with only his pants on so far. His head was bent as he worked on toweling it dry, a quiet little hum escaping him as he moved to head towards the living room. "I'm gonna go plug up that DS," he called out, hoping Ivan heard as he moved to do just that. Since Penny was now on the couch, curled up into a ball of fur, he stroked his hand across her back with a soft laugh. "Now you don't have to be alone," he told her, to which she lifted her head and meowed before just shifting slightly to go back to sleep.

“Spasiba.” Ivan called in response from his position bent over his case and pulling out clothing, looking up briefly to see Alfred go past. He'd thought he'd shut the door, but it seemed to have drifted open, so perhaps he hadn't done that properly. There was a part of his mind that was disconcerted by this, but he didn't notice – shirtless Alfred was occupying his attention. The moment passed, and Ivan had acquired all the garments he intended to put on, so he made his way to the bathroom – making sure that this door wouldn't drift open randomly, at least. Since his boyfriend was working to a schedule, Ivan decided against soaking in a bath – it would be all too easy for him to lose his sense of time if he did that. Therefore, when he took off his nightclothes, it was the shower he activated. As the heated water raining down on him began, his hair acquired a damply lambent sheen, and he sighed. The stream of hot water from above, though not as relaxing as a bath, had a calming effect on Ivan, putting him into a rather mellow mood. He spread some of his body wash – a translucent green concoction that smelt distinctly herbal – onto his sponge, and began to lather himself. Once he was done scrubbing his body, he moved onto his hair, pooling his opaque white shampoo into one hand and massaging it into his hair and scalp with a contented hum. This mixture, and the conditioner that followed, was herbal-scented too, but with scents from different herbs – such as mint. Ivan quite liked herbal aromas, finding them vaguely soothing, and rather pleasant besides. In a short while, the insistent drumming of the water ceased, and the freshly washed Russian began to dry himself, though he didn't exit the bathroom in the same manner as Alfred. It wasn't long before he emerged, towel wrapped on his head like a parody of a turban, clad in light blue jeans and a pastel yellow top – and, of course, his scarf. He nearly walked into Vodka, who emerged from a nearby room without warning, but he was able to avoid cat-astrophy – for all that his brain churned up a pun from which he could not escape quite so easily. Wandering into the living room, he sat down and returned his attention to towelling his hair, now content that he was within easy speaking distance of Alfred, and so was less likely to cause a delay.

Alfred looked up from the task of playing on his phone that he'd adopted while Ivan was in the bathroom, grinning up at Ivan when he entered. "I can smell the mint from here," he said with a chuckle before he finally decided to abandon his towel and pull his shirt over his head, deciding he'd try to tame his hair in a little bit. For now he stood up to trot over to Ivan to help him in the task of drying his hair. He was, of course, careful to try to avoid pulling his hair. He was rougher in toweling his own hair, but he was sure Ivan would prefer a gentler approach as opposed to Alfred putting forth all of his energy. "You smell like a garden," he stated rather happily, bending down to press a soft kiss to the Russian's forehead. "It's nice." And it was. As opposed to the stuff Alfred used, it was a more subdued, calming smell. It was like a contrast between their personalities but, hey, it was one he liked. "We still have a little while to go before we have to leave," he added to inform him of their time remaining.

The Russian returned the smile he'd been greeted with – still not automatically, but more easily – and paused as he saw that Alfred was coming towards him. “You can? Being in the middle of the aroma, I did not know how far it would reach.” He responded, figuring out from the chuckle and the tone of voice used that his American liked the smell. He was a little startled when Alfred began to help him dry his hair, and he couldn't help but be reminded of their washing and drying of Vodka the previous day. That thought made him giggle slightly, as he relaxed and allowed the other male to tend to his hair. It was nice, not too rough – just right, really, and he hummed a little. He liked it, this treatment, and he appreciated that Alfred had spontaneously decided to bestow it upon him. He'd have to think of something he could do in return. True, it was a simple thing, but it was touching – perhaps more than it would have been if he didn't have the peculiarly lonely nature that seemed woven into him. “A garden? I like those~ I did not know that I would smell like that, but it makes sense.” He replied, responding to the cheerful tone of Alfred's voice with brightness in his own, and he smiled wider when he felt lips against his forehead. “Ah, and so are you~” He added, trying to discern what Alfred smelt like. Was that sandalwood? Honey? He wasn't sure, but it was like the woods – at least, that was the image it conjured in his mind. He could have been completely off-base, though. “Your scent, as well, is nice – what is it?” He asked, curious, after nodding his understanding that there was no hurry yet.

"You know, I'm not really sure," Alfred responded. "I don't read the bottle any more, I just know it smells kinda woodsy," he said, pulling the towel after a bit and grinning before he moved to start smoothing Ivan's hair back down so it wouldn't look goofy when they left. Ivan probably wouldn't appreciate it, after all. "At this point I just kind of buy the same thing based on color since I'm so used to buying it," he added as he moved to grab his towel as well. "Anyways, do you have anything you want to do to pass time until we have to go?" he asked, looking at the other curiously. They could always just talk but Alfred wanted to be sure that Ivan didn't want to possibly watch something or mess with some games before they headed off to stay in a cafe for hours on end.

"Fair enough." Ivan replied, accepting the explanation. It was reasonable - he had done similar with things such as toothpaste on many occasions, so he knew where Alfred was coming from with this. "That is what I had thought as well, although there may also be honey... I am unsure of that, though." He added, contemplating the scent as the towel was removed from his head. He giggled a little as he felt his hair being smoothed down, wondering how silly he looked. "Thank you." He murmured, wanting his appreciation to be known, but not overstated - there was no need to make a big thing of hair-drying. "Something to do? Well, is there anything that you would like to show me? If there is not, we could be playing something to pass the time." He responded, considering the thought. "After all, we did plan to be playing games, da?" He smiled, wondering what Alfred might suggest. He was the one who knew what all the games were called, and where everything in the house happened to be - well, within reason, anyway. "Oh, or we could play Crazy Cat! Kitties like to chase points of light, do they not?"

Did they have time to play games, though? Alfred pondered on that for a bit, thinking until Ivan suggested something else. He grinned after a moment and nodded. "May as well have them get some exercise before we leave then," he said, taking a few minutes to search for a laser-pointer. Upon finding one he grinned, then stepped over to Ivan to offer it out. This would apparently be Ivan's first time playing with a feline of his own, so why not let him have the first go? "It's really fun if you can get them to jump, too," he said, sitting closer to his Russian boyfriend after handing over the little lightsource. He likely wouldn't stay there for very long, but at the very least he was there for the time being.

Ivan now wore a mischievous grin, casting a sly glance in the direction of his unsuspecting pet. Vodka was sitting, relaxed, on the floor, looking away. "Da, that could be good for them~" He agreed, watching Alfred dig out a laser-pointer for them to use. When he was presented with the item, he accepted it - his impish ex pression still present - and examined it for its switch. When he found that, he turned it on and played its beam out in front of his tom. Vodka instantly perked up into a state of alertness, head up and ears pricked. He batted at the light-dot with one paw, but it danced away teasingly. "Like this?" Ivan asked, turning his face to regard his boyfriend. The intrigued feline stood, and began stalking the dot, whereupon it began to move faster, as Ivan twitched the pointer with a gleeful look on his face - this was fun. Vodka was twirling and batting at the dot, determined to capture it, when it seemed to climb the nearest wall. Undeterred, he attempted to catch it, only to lose it as it skittered away and down again. Once or twice, he tried to pounce on it, but just when he thought he had it - it vanished from where it should have lain beneath his paws. How odd.

Alfred laughed, nodding. "Perfect!" he practically chirped as he settled himself on the edge of the chair where Ivan had seated himself. He was careful to maintain his balance, but was unable to help nearly toppling over due to laughter once Penny perked up and sped off the couch to chase the red dot around as well. There wasn't a whole lot that could top watching cats chase a laser light this early in the morning, after all. It was a perfect way to start the day!
He shifted slightly on the chair to lean sideways, draping his arm around the back of it so he could keep his balance better while reaching out to gently take hold of the other's wrist, directing it a little bit to help with the entertainment value. "It's really fun if you can get them to run in tight circles then get them to shoot off in a straight line," he said with a devious little grin. "It's really funny when they try to pretend they don't care afterwards sometimes," he added, seeming to be thoroughly enjoying himself just watching the cats. It was a more than amusing thing to watch, especially thanks to his long history with Penny in particular.
