Dryac wandered in through the now open castle front doors, his appearance pretty much the alternate to Sumnor's. His long, black trenchcoat was billowing in the window, his hair, that, when dry, reached to just beyond his soulder blades, was wet and plasterred to his scalp by the rain. "So then, how is everyone ths fine, winter day?"

Sumnor grinned widely, hugging Dryac and patting his wet back, "It's been too long, I have missed you, old friend."  Dryac hugged back tightly, happy to finally see his friend again, "And I have missed you, Sumnor, and the friendly nature of your good wife." Sumnor chuckled as he released Dryac, allowing him to greet Aria, kissing her lightly on the hand, "So Mon Cherie, how're you and babe this evenening?" "I am good, I see you're still as corny as ever."

Dryac then walked over to  Sara, noddinb in greeting, not know who it was, "Hello, pleased to met you.... sorry, but who are you? if I already know, I apologise, I do get hit on the head a lot in fights."

"I'm Sara," she said. Dryac looked somewhat like Sumnor. He definately smelled like a lycan. "You don't know me. I just met Sumnor," she said smiling. She was happy to meet another lycan.

Sara put her hand down onto Shinook's head. 'Who's he,' Shinook asked, 'he smells kinda like you,' he added smelling Dryac's hand. "I think he might be Dryac," Sara said to Shinook stroking his head.

Dryac licked his lips slightly, before turning to Sumnor, "You still got my spare set of clothes here? The ones I left last visit?" "Yeah, they're just through here." Sumnor lead Dryac through into the livingroom, digging through a few draws and handing Dryac a set of clothes identical to the oens he was wearing, alopng with a towell to dry himself on, "Thank you, my friend." "No problem, you're always welcome ehre, and besides, the clothes are yours Dryac, only the towell is ours."

Sumnor then walked back to Aria, putting an arm around her as he kicked the door to the livingroom shut for Dryac to get dry and changed, "Anyway, as you may have guessed, that's my friend Dryac."

"He smelled like a lycan..." Sara said. She was excited to meet a lycan after encountering two vampires. She pulled her dark brown hair behind her ear. She patted Shinook's head. "You can go now buddy," she said as he bounded out the door.

She had doghair all over her clothes. She took her hands and pulled wads of it off of her blue jeans and her shirt.

"Nice to meet you too," she said. She could still hear Shinook's faint footsteps outside. The footsteps eventually stopped. Dryac looked familiar for some reason, but she couldn't figure out why. She continued pulling wads of dog hair off of her clothes. Eventually, almost all of the doghair was off of her.

Dryac sat in one of the many plush armchairs that Sumnor had in his main living room, crossing his legs and drumming his finger on the arm of the chair. "So, Aria, when are you expecting miniature Sumnor to come along?" His tone was, as it always was, half serious and half humerous.

Sumnor sat in an armchair across from Dryac, Aria sitting in one next to Sumnor, "Any day now, actually, I'd love it if you be here for the birth, Dryac." "I couldn't do that, I'd hate to impose." "No imposition, you know this castle is huge, I haven't even been into all of the rooms yet."  Sumnor smiled at his old friend, "Stay, my friend, it would be an honor to be able to say you were at our child's birth." "Well then, how can I resist?"

Dryac looked over at Sara, a feeling gnawing at him, and he was finding it impossible to place, "I rexognise your face, Sara... but I can't seem to place it, have we met eachother in the past? or shared a welcome glance.... or.... no, it can't be."

Sara's green eyes studied Dryac's face. "What can't be?" She was curious now. She pulled her hair on one shoulder and ran her fingers through it. "I recognize yours too, but what can't be?"

Dryac allowed himself to fall from the armchair onto his knees, shimmying over to Sara and wrapping his arms around her shoulders, burying his face in her shirt, tears already beginning to roll down her face, "Sara... Forgive me... The Fire... The house... I was pulled out myself... before anyone could..." That is where Dryac couldn't continue speaking for tears, they were rolling down his face faster tan everything, everytime he attempted to mutter a word it got choked up in his sobs.

Sumnor and Aria waslked over to the father and daughter, each placing a hnd on one of eachof their shoulders, attempting to comfort them both, Sumnor wasn't worried, not officially anyway, he knew this was good news, Dryac just had to realsie that on his own.

Through all of this sobbing and hugging, the memories flooded back into her head. She remembered clinging to her father's leg and him playing with her. She remembered the fire, the excruciating pain. She remembered the person that saved her. Her boyfriend had saved her, and carried her out. He was only four at the time, but she was two. She remembered him taking her away, to his clan. She was raised at his clan ever since. She owed him her life.

Sara started sobbing she put her head on top of her dad's. The tears flowed down her face. "I, I, I remember," was all she could choke out through the sobs.

Dryac held his long-lose daughter, sobbing into the folds of her top, trying deperately to stop but finding it not in his power. "I... Never let myself forget, I kept it on the brink of my mind at all times, wanting to keep you as close to me as possible..." Dryac just held on to Sara, not wanting  to let her go, not wanting to lose her again.

Sara woke up out of the room that Sumnor had let her sleep in. She still hadn't forgotten the events about the night before. She walked out of her room and peeked through the hallway. "Anyone up," she said quietly, not wanting to awaken anyone if they were still sleeping.

Sara jumped as she heard Dryac talk. She still wasn't used to the fact that he was her father. "I thought that vampires didn't sleep." She had heard this from her boyfriend.

She peeked around the corner and spotted Dryac. Her slender figure moved gracefully across the room, coming to Dryac. "So about last night," she frowned.

Dryac stood towering, as he always did, his height near to 7 foot, although he was a slender build, his shoulders no more than perhaps 2 and a half foot wide, his arms, lean but slim, power obvious in his stride, "I was hoping you'd bring that up some time when Sumnor and Aria weren't with us, and yes, vampires do sleep, they're pretty normal... so what do you want to talk about?"

"You've probably got a lot of things to ask me." She smiled. "What did my mom look like?" Sara did a low whistle and Shinook jumped in through a window. He seeked Sara out by following her scent. He rubbed up against her leg and looked at Dryac.
