 PJ looked up. She narrowed her eyes looking the boy over before answering. "She was getting heavy and I didn't really have another place to put her." She said getting up. She looked at Josh again. He didn't look like he was going to attack, but PJ still wanted to be sure. She stuck her hands inside her pockets very normally and started to search for weapons. Her ex
pression didn't change when her hands felt a pen. A pen wouldn't hurt him but it would shock him, maybe giving her sometime to grabbed one of the sharp sticks on her back.

 Ashsmiled looking at the girl. "It's okay... There is no need to be scared." Ash lied trying to get the girl to calm down so she didn't doanything stupid.

Taelin still wasn't very trusting and took a step back. She rummaged in her back pcket for that dog whistle that worked on her mountain lion as well. She held the small thing in her closed palm and simply allowed herself to relax a bit.

Josh scowled and lepat onto the tree limb,"I will not be staked and fooled by such a petty trick."

 Ash looked at her hand. He didn't move from his place but just watched her curiously as if to see what she was up to. "What is that?" He asked pointing at her hand.

 PJ still held the pen in her hand. "I see that you would never fall for that." She said. Almost every other vampire that she had met said that because they always seemed to think that they were too smart. She let go of the pen and took her hands out of her pockets. "Plus, you can't really blame me for trying to find something to protect myself with."

"Hey, i don't bite people okay?i prefer animals." Josh inquired sternly.

"A dog whistle." Taelin said cautiously. That is what it was and it's probably make him guess she'd call either a werewolf or a dog of some sort. she atleast wasn't lying about it.

 Ash nodded. "I see." He said laughing a little. "It doesn't matter though." He said.

 "Yea...Well I once met another vampire who said to eat animals. I will never make the mistake of trusting a vampire again." PJ said sternly. She turned around and walked back over to the girl draggin her body from the tree. She held up the girl as carefully as posible and showed the face to the boy. "Do you know who this is and were I can find her family?" She asked.

"Nope." Josh said.

Taelin blew the whistle and an albino mountain lion stalked out from the bushes behind her. She stroked it and its purring motor came to life."Good boy Zar." she murmered. He kept everything away from their cave though he coudln't scare off the spiders...The lions red eyes studied Ash with a slitted glare that said,'She's mine and you can't have her.'

 Ash glared back at the mountain lion. He narrowed his eyes reading the animals eyes. He leaned against a tree not moving for a little while but just studying the mountain lion with consentration.

 "Stupid, stupid girl. She should have told me who she was before following me, I am sure her family would want to know what happened to her. Oh well." Jade shugged letting the girl fall. She turned around and began to walk away from the vampire and back to her hiden home.

"If she's out here alone chances are she can get home jsut as easily." Josh said watching her leave.

The lion butted its head against Taelin's leg trying to get her to go. Though she scolded him to knock it off and he gave ehr an innocent look.

 PJ opened the the door and walked in letting the door slam shut behind her. She took of the bag on her back and set it on a hanger along with her jacket.

 Ash heard something slam shut. "What was that?" He asked looking around.

((Hm...Okay I have an idea...Kind of.))

 Ash grinned when he saw the lio leave. He looked over at Taelin. "So...How did you get that thing on yoru side?" He asked.
