Enola scowled, lowering her head below her haunches. "You know those rumors about trappers? Those trappers took my brothers and sisters. I'm still trying to look for them, you know? I... I really don't want to look for them alone. If I'm going to be killed, someone has to tell the others about the trappers. I need someone to carry on my blood when I'm dead. You don't need to come along. That's your choice." She kept her head low and continued on past Sly, a grave look on her face, no more humor left to spare.

Sly watched her brush pass him and he felt terrible for the way he acted. He realized he would have to deal with her stubborness if he didnt want to feel like such a jerk. " *Sigh* Alright, alright.." he hesitated. "Ill help you. But after that, Im gone ok? As much as I 'love' a family reunion, I'm going after you find them." he said. If we find them anyway. Poor girl probably doesnt know that they would've cut her brothers and sisters up already. Sly then walked to her side and stared straight into her soul. "Do we have a deal or not?" he asked.

(XD Okie, then. This is going to be a LONG journey.)

Enola looked over to Sly, eyes widening. He was literally talking honestly? Shocker. "Fine... But quit telling me to (Oh, fancy seeing you here.) off..." She sighed and looked back ahead of her. "Please." She frowned as she loped along, reminded of the reason she was sticking around. "They're just puppies..." She muttered, squinting her eyes so she wouldn't have to cry in front of anyone.

(( *squeal* AWW IT SO ADORABLE >.< ))

Enola wavered as she smirked, shutting her eyes tight. "Y-Yes... I'm... Fine. Just fine." Her voice shivered, and though she didn't actually expect to be hugged, she nudged Sly. "There's a cave under a willow over there... That could work." She shook her tail as if to dry it off, then went over to the cave and curled up in the far corner. "I... I don't think it's claimed by anyone."

Sly felt himself slightly blush-weird. He then followed Enola to the small cave and sat outside of the entrance, as if to stand guard overnight. But another thought came to mind, Just leave. Theres no point in staying if you know she wont find them.. Without thinking, Sly started to walk outside, to run away and never see her again but he forced himself to stop. Sly looked back to Enola and had to keep himself from taking anymore steps outside. Force of habit.

(XD I'm just going to have Enola look at him with puppy eyes and say the magic word every time he tries to leave. ADOWABUNS.)

Enola watched Sly with large, almond eyes. She wasn't trying to make them sparkle or snap his neck or anything, just to watch. She lifted her head, still watching. Then her eyes went round and the moon made them shine the way they always did during the night. "Please?" She whispered, tilting her head to the side.

Enola squinted, then lay her head down on her soft, poofy tail. She just watched Sly's back for a couple hours, then eventually shut her eyes in attempt to sleep.

Enola's eyes popped open at the sound of thunder, and she jumped up. She looked around, but she couldn't see Sly. "Shiste... Shiste... Shiste..." She muttered to herself, checking behind each rock and boulder, each nook and cranny. Her heart was racing, and she felt dizzy. She even thought she would faint. She stood at the edge of the cave, looking around while panting. "Sly?" She said, as loud as she could but not too loud in the case he was asleep. There was tall grass everywhere, and she couldn't see. "Sly!" Enola passed out, head hitting the ground from shock.

I didnt do it!" was Sly's first responce to being woken up. Another dream, he hated those but he was used to it. He realized it was raining and he could hear the loud thunder. He tried hard to look around and he felt his pelt soaking wet. "Enola?" he called. He then panicked a bit and ran around "Enola?!" he called again, searching the tall grass. He then bumped into a figure bigger than him and he looked up. "Enol-" Sly stopped dead in his tracks as he realized it was the same fox from before, and he looked blood-thirsty. Sly began walking backwards only to bump into the other, and the other. Practically cornered near the river. "I- uh, it was just a joke!" he said. The leader smiled. "No Sly, you've been causing trouble everywhere you go. I'd be a hero if I brought back your skin, stained red, and showed it to everyone." he chuckled. Sly grew chills and took another step back, only to find his foot getting wet. Sly, being smaller than the three, slipped easily through them and ran. There one of the foxes found him and Sly quickly jumped on top of him, biting his neck and holding on tight until the body stopped moving and it dropped dead. Sly ran into the leader and he dodged almost every attack, but one made a deep cut on his side. Sly grimanced and he scratched the larger fox's eye, blinding him and Sly bit his leg, breaking it and he watched as the large fox fell over in pain. Obviously not dead, Sly decided it was a good time to run and find Enola. "Enola?!" he called over the thunder. He then found her on the ground and carried her by the scruff in the tall grass, hiding from the fox and hoping the storm would be over soon.

Enola slowly nodded back into consciousness, though going from black to color was a heavy transition. Her entire body jerked as she woke up, eyes wide, legs shivering like trees in a tornado. She gasped for air, then she noticed Sly crouched down beside her, and her 'brows' furrowed. "Sly? Wha-" She groaned until she heard voices. She froze, but still shook. Her eyes were very wide, taking up about two inches each.

Enola didn't respond kindly to being carried, but she wasn't going to risk another shock attack. "Why are you covered in blood? Answer me, mister." She frowned, leaning side to side to inspect the wounds.

Enola frowned, padding round to his cut. "Let Dr. Enola fix it... Or I'll make it worse." She took him by the scruff this time, taking him towards the river, though she was still cautious. She set him down close to the water, then set her paws in the cold water. She came back to Sly, slowly dragging her paws over the cut to spread water over it. Then, after the blood was washed away, she went back to the river and lapped up water. "It might sting a little bit, but trust me, it works." She came back and groomed the cut, scooping out dirt and bacteria, while numbing the pain at the same time.

Sly grimanced at the burning sensation comming from the deep cut. Hè knew for sure that would be a scar, dang it.. But there was an upside to this, Sly knew most girl foxes liked 'bad boys' with a few scars here and there. "I dont know how this is making me feel any better. It just burns like, like..."  Like your burning in a fire. Yea, except you didnt because you werent there to help them now were you? It seemed Sly's conscience was always torturing him with that memory, he hated it. "Thank you.." he managed to say to Enola, that was a very hard word for him.

(XD MAH VIXEN GON GIVE HIM MORE SCARS IF HE KEEPS THINKING HE'S SO DANG ATTRACTIVE!)

Enola looked at Sly, then back at the cut. Then she paused. "I really don't know why guys like you are just collecting scars. They aren't attractive at all, they don't even make you the least bit appealing. It's just... Stupid." She muttered the word 'stupid', though against her will, it was still audible. Then she went back to cleansing the scar. The burning would go away soon, only if he relaxed.

Sly smiled when Enola thought the whole scar thing was stupid. "Well, its not what most think." he smiled. Sly then felt the burning again, he knew he probably deserved that.. "Um, where exactly are we going to first tomorrow anyway?" he asked, now tasting the blood he had around his mouth. It was a bit distirbing to Sly to taste others blood that was right on him, he felt like a killer and that was one thing he didnt want to be.
