"As soon as they get back, Krys. You both should get settled. I'm going to the third floor." Dev stood up and told Parker and Krystal goodbye. Closing the door behind her she went to the elvator. It was empty. 'Good.' Dev though. Dev pressed the emergency stop button and then entered pressed floors 1 2 and 3 at the same time. The Number panel flipped over and showed a pad with number 1-9 and that zero at the bottom. She typed in a 6 dogot cpde then that flipped over and a scanner showed up. Dev pressed her hand against it and the elvator started moving. All the panles flipped back over and Dev's face got serious.

"Being skilled in physical combat is always a plus." Xander said, putting down the sword he'd used in his training session with Dev earlier. "I'm sure you already know what weapons are my favorite." he added, spinning one of his silver pistols and putting it back away quickly. He didn't need to say that sniper rifles were his next favorite, since Echo had proof of that on her leg.

((I am afraid I will not be here for about a week, I apologize for this and I will try to make a good post when I return as another apology.))
~Krystal Starlis~
Krystal gave a small wave as a goodbye before watching Dev walk off. "C'mon, Dev probably saved our old rooms." She said turning her head to look at Parker then walking off down the hall to the rooms they always used to stay in when they would come for visits. They visit no where near as often as they used to and should, but with the government getting more and more strict on travel and setting up more guards it has become very dangerous to travel across state lines.
~Echo Heart~
Echo watched the silver pistol closely before looking back up at Xander, "Clearly your aim is pretty good, but I want to see if you can fight without hiding behind a hunk of metal." she snickered before twisting her head to pop her neck. Just because her leg was injured didn't mean she couldn't have a fun little fight, plus if things got too out of hand she does still know the human anatomy better than most.

Parker nodded to Krystal, and went back over to the Hummer to grab a few bags. She picked up her duffell and swung it over her shoulder before grabbing her crossbow. She yawned from exhaustion and trotted off behind Krystal to the rooms. It wasnt too far of a walk to get there, just past the training room Parker told herself to keep herself going. She would need a few hours sleep, if they were going to have a mission. She walked on passed the training room, the door open she spotted a couple of figures before tromping on by. She was intent on getting to her room, her bed more so..she was going to pass out she knew it.

Walking out the elevator Dev relaxed her body but that doesn't mean she felt safe her. In fact this place is very dangerous to be in but it felt like escape to her. A little bit of a thrill. After entering more codes, going through a body scan, and waiting for 5 steal doors to open it revealed what Dev liked to call 'Base Control.'
At Base Control she can see everything that goes on the base, pull up profiles on everyone in the base, look at information from past mission, and hack into goverment systems without leaving a trace. There were three large screen ond three walls. The room was shaped like a octogon and it was very spacious too. Dev pressed a button in the center or the room and tiles on the floor retracted back and a large chair came rising out from down below. Happily Dev sat down in the chair and with a wave of her hand unlocked the screen. 'First thing first.' Dev though. She opened up the information on the computer room and sent all the data to her main operating system so that none if remain on those computers. Dev then downloaded microsoft on the computers instead of having there own operating system instead. She then linked them up to a well known internet provider. 'These computers are just for recreational use now.' Dev thought to herself. She cracked her knuckles and went on to her document that held the mission they mostly likely be going on. Reviewing it she put it away and then looked around the room. She knew no one was her but she had to make sure. She opened up skype. She saw next to the name Linda Starfire was one hundred notifications. Warily Dev clicked on her name and the same message was left. "Those who rebel usually end up dead." Dev scrolled and read the message over and over until she closed it completely. Breathing heavily as she was anxious now she decided to do something else. Dev knew what to expect when she opened Skype but it still broke her down. Dev's shoulder started to ache again but she ignored it for the time being. Now breathing normally she pulled up some blueprints for uprgrades on her sword and something very special. Dev got up from the chair and walked over. She entered a pin and opened a drawer with another dual broadsword but it was different. It was completely high tech and she had made it herself. It was almost complete. Just then Dev had a flashback when she was twelve. Not that long ago. She was mastering swordmanship. Her teacher had offered to teach her how to use double broadswords connected at the hilt with one hand. She took up on his offer but never mastered it. Sighing at the memory she pushed back in the drawer. She walked out base control with her head hung low. 'I guess I have no choice to master it now or I'll just have to sit and watch the mission. I know that what we do isn't all about fighting but brains is important too. I know I can do it but it's just not me.' Dev thought to herself. Going back down to the second floor she went to her room. She took some pain killers and lied face down on her pillow in her bed.

((Back, woohoo))
~Krystal Starlis~
"See ya." Krystal gave a small wave to Parker before walking into her room. She turned on the light, tossed the bag with her clothes and other hygienic stuff on the floor next to the twin-sized bed in the corner of the room, then sat on the edge of the bed and setting her small backpack next to her. She grabbed her notebook and pen and set them on the nightstand along with a waterbottle she had forgotten about that was sitting in her bag, giving her regular cat-like yawn, she dropped her backpack down on the ground just infront of the nightstand and laid down looking blankly up at the ceiling.
After thinking for a little bit she sighed then got up only to bend down and grab her earbuds from one of the side pockets of her back pack, getting up again she grabbed her notebook and pencil and walked over, sitting at the desk on the other side of the room. She opened up the book to a blank page and plugged the earbuds into her phone, but only put one earbud in, making sure she could still hear if anything happened in other parts of the base. She started drawing as the music began and became focused on what she was doing, when she focused and was alone, she usually began singing and that she did.
This is the end... Hold your breath and count to ten Feel the earth move and then Hear my heart burst, again... For this is the end... I'v drown and dreamed this moment So overdue I owe them Swept away I'm stolen...

"You'll have plenty of chances to do that later." Xander blew Echo off, not wanting to start a fight with her at present. Though he could tell she didn't think it was a disadvantage, he didn't want to have an unfair fight with his opponent being injured, even if it was just for training. Besides, he wasn't quite in the mood for training after what happened to Dev earlier. "For now, I think I'm going to go get some sleep," Xander said, heading off, "you can do what you want."

Parker rolled over on her bed, and rubbed sleep from her eyes. How long have i been asleep? she thought. Her bags lay tossed across the floor, her coat draped across her desk and chair. She hadnt even remembered kicking her boots off before passing out. She wiped the drool from her cheek as she sat up and ran a hand threw her hair. Her other arm had gone numb from laying on it. Pin pricks ran up and down her forearm, making her cringe. She hated that feeling.
Walking across the room, and slipping into her boots she stepped out into the hall. One hand flexing constantly to return the blood flow the other resting on her hip. She made to knock on Krys'd door before deciding against it. Instead she walked off towards the training room where she had seen the others earlier....

As Xander walked away from the training room, he spotted Parker walking his way. "Well well, look who decided to show herself." he said jokingly, with a smirk. He had been wondering when he would see her or Krystal after they arrived. Xander was happy to see an old friend, though he had to wonder where Kaz was hiding, no doubt they brought Krystal's energetic husky along. They always did.

~Krystal Starlis~
Krystal woke up, slowly getting up from the desk she had fallen asleep at. "Dangit, how many times am I gonna do that" She often times fell asleep doing work late at night, and it was always at some kind of desk and it only made her muscles hurt more and more everytime. She did half of her regular morning routine of getting ready, having to remind herself that she was at Dev's base and not hers, then she grabbed one of her hidden blades and put it in place, activating it a few times before walking out of the room calling Kaz, who was asleep on her bed, along. Seeing Parker and Xander standing in the hall infront of the training room, she stretched her back and began walking over to them only to see Kaz lunge forward at Xander giving small, joyful barks.
~Echo Heart~
Echo gave a sigh as she watched Xander leave the training room, 'I can do what I want, eh?' she thought then went over and looked at the weapons, they had a rather wide selection of them. She picked up the sword Xander had been looking at and got in a fighting stance, she hadn't used a sword in a while and only remembered some of the basics, she often just found her own way of fighting with them, changing different moves to suit her style. She began waving it around, doing techniques she had remembered until a loud barking made her jump, she simply shook her head and focused on the blade.

Dev was nearing the waking stage of her sleep cycle. Her last dream played in her mind. It was nothing but darkness only her mother's voice could be heard. " Those who rebel usually end up dead." Dev eyes were wide open now. She fell asleep on her stomach and was cool but now she was on her back and dripping in sweat. Her dream and her physical state did not match. ' Does it affect me that much?' Dev's face turned stern and then she relaxed.
Coming back to reality she cringed in pain from her shoulder. Taking more pain killers without any water she walked out of the room but not before taking her sweatshirt. Dev didn't have to look in a mirror to know she looked a hot mess. She went to the infirmary and some nurse replaced her bandages. They helped her put on her sweatshirt.
Dev took out her smartphone and texted everyone to meet in the training room. Which is probably where they were anyway. It was time to start thinking about a mission. Even though she was sweating Dev felt as cold as ice. She dismissed the nurses and took out a thermometer. After a few minutes she checked it. 'Damn I have a fever!' Dev cursed to herself.
Dev flung the thermometer and wiped her sweat. She flipped her hood over her head so she didn't feel so cold. She was shivering but it was hardly noticeable. Dev ran back to her room grabbed her broadswords and sheath. Placing it over her back she went to the training room.

Xander bent down and caught Kaz before he could have a chance to pounce on him. He scratched his ears, giving him a smile. "So you missed me, eh?" he chuckled before he heard his phone go off. Xander's face turned serious again as he read Dev's text. "Looks like I'll have to pass on getting some sleep." he said in a low voice. Not that he minded much; he'd been hoping for some more action recently.

Parker looked up from her feet to see Xander in the hallway. "Xander! Hi! " she said excitedly."You know I wouldnt miss a trip, someones got to keep you all on your toes." She peeked in the training room doorway to see what they had in store for them. She sidestepped out of the way as Kaz came barreling through the hall to great their friend. "Oof Kaz you great lug." she chided at the dog, but bent to pat his ears anyways. She looked up at Xander as he spoke about no sleep, and wondered what he was talking about. "Why whats up?" she asked him curiously, as she noticed Krystal approaching them as well.

Krystal rolled her eyes at Kaz then smiled at Xander as a greeting. Her phone had went off and looking down she saw that Dev had sent her a text 'To lazy to get us yourself?' she teased in her mind as though she was talking to Dev. She quickly scrolled through the text then stopped infront of the training room with the others glancing at the halfway opened door for it. "It's been awhile, nice to see you again, Xander" She held her hand for a handshake but was bumped to the side when Kaz got up excitedly, and began pacing in a circle, making his rounds for pets from everyone.
~Echo Heart~
Echo closed her eyes taking a deep breath then letting it out before leaping towards a practice dummy, quick as a cat she began swinging the sword in specific ways to make it hit even the most hidden of areas. Suddenly another voice was added to the mix of people out in the hallway, she continued practicing but glanced at the door every now and then.

Parker felt her phone buzzing in her pocket, though she didnt bother to look at it. "Well, i guess we have work to do." she responded figuring it was Dev by the look on Kryss face. She poked her head in to the training room, looking at the new girl quizically. She then skipped in dodging the sword blows, and linking elbows with the new comer."I'm sure Dev has something exciting for us planned, can you believe it?" she prattled on like they had known each other for years, pushing her glasses up her nose as she spoke. "Im Parker by the way, and your Echo right? Dev told us all about you, Im so excited to have another team member. This is going to be so much fun." she jabbered about a mile a minute with hardly a breath inbetween.

Dev walked past everyone in the hall and went into the training room. She saw Parker jabbering away at Echo. Dev hoped that Echo's ears wouldn't start bleeding. Dev chuckled mentally but came back to reality as she felt the room spin. After just staring at a wall for a few seconds she made her way to the control ((thingy I forget what I called it. Basically the thing to change the room to a different one)) She changed the room into the meeting room but left the practice dummy remain.
Dev transferred the info from her phone to the computer and put up the mission entitled "Follow the money." Dev stood at the podium that was now there. The room had computers lined from wall to wall. A similar design to Dev's area but more of a less technological version. Dev calmly waited for everyone to finish their conversation since there was no rush.

"Likewise." Xander answered Krystal with a hint of a smile as Kaz bumped her off to the side. He headed back into the training room to hear what Dev had to say, wondering what she was setting up. Xander was more than ready for a mission, it had been a while since they set one up and even longer since they'd done one with Krystal and Parker involved.

Krystal glared at Kaz who sat expectantly at her feet before following her into the training room. She stood waiting for Dev to speak eyeing the newcomer, 'Poor thing has become Parker's new victim' she closed her eyes shaking her head before reopening them and patting her hand gently on her thigh as a way of telling Kaz to sit and stay.
~Echo Heart~
Echo jumped staring at the new brunette through narrowed eyes before looking around the room, seeing its new appearance 'Fancy' she thought before backing away from the girl. 'My gosh she sounds like mockingbird that just won't shut up' realizing her stare had turned to a glare, she peered around the girl and looked at Xander with a look saying Help.

As the room changed Parker ceased a sentence in mid breath. She gazed around at their new surroundings, she had forgotten what the meeting room had looked like. She took in Dev's place with a bit of awe. Forgetting her conversation with the new girl, Parker skipped over to her seat that would be next to Krys. She started manipulating her set of the mission notes... Her eyes scanning over the words and information like a pin ball machine before coming to an abrupt stop at the bottom of the page. She smirked to herself and sat in her chair looking around at the others and waiting for Dev to start the discussion. As usual Parker already had a plan of action on her part working in her mind.

Xander noticed Echo having trouble but ignored her pleading look, not wanting to get involved in Parker's chatter. After all, once that girl started talking, she was hard to stop; and she definitely had a lot to say all the time.
Although he was a little sad to see that parker had been interrupted by the room changing. He did sort of enjoy seeing the look on Echo's face as she tried to get away. It was always amusing to see people's reactions to Parker.
