Oliver watched her climb, a thoughtful look on his face though his eyes were still blank. "They're as sturdy as can be," he replied, though he wasn't actually sure how strong they were. "Just stay on the thicker ones and you should be fine." He grinned, and began to climb up after her.

The bark was slightly slippery from the snow, but not hard to grip at all. It was cold, though, his fingers numb for brief seconds at a time each time he placed his hand on the tree. Finally, catching up to Nikki with ease, he pulled himself up to sit next to her and pointed at the water. "Look. You can see everything from here."

Too busy gazing at the beautiful scene, he didn't notice the branch they were settled on start to moan in protest, the wood starting to break.

Sorry I didn't get on yesterday. I have this thing - I can't remember what it's called - that is kind of like arthritis since I type to much. I'm trying to rest my fingers by not going on Rescreatu until after five o clock. But since I didn't get on yesterday at all, I thought I'd break that goal of mine for a second ;P

Oliver's reassurance that the branches were sturdy didn't make Nikki feel any better like she'd thought she would. "Oh. Great." She said, trying to look at the bright side as she looked down once. "Oh my gosh..." She mumbled to herself as she went higher and higher. Finally she knew that if she went any higher, she'd vomit from the fear of falling to the ultimate death. Though, she knew that was a little exaggeratation, she couldn't help it, with her nausea and all...
When she sat down, refusing to go an inch higher, she finally got a good look at the scene. "Wow..." She said  more to herself then any body and looked as far as she could see. "Its so beautiful!" She said in a more girly tone. She would have warned Oliver not to give a smart remark about it, but she was too busy enjoying the view.
It all happened so fast, Nikki will probably never understand what happened exactly. She didn't want to sound like a wimp when she heard the branch as Oliver sat beside her. She didn't want to kill the mood. But, she found herself scooting closer to him nonchalantly. All of a sudden feeling very scared.
"Uhm...Oliver?" She asked, as she swallowed. Before he could respond a snap sounded in her ears and she - and Oliver also - fell to the bottom. Out of any human instinct, Nikki screamed bloody murder, believing that she'd die the second she hit the ground. "Oliver!" She screamed again, grappling for anything she could before landing - and disappearing - in the snow. She groaned in pain, and refused to get up.

Oliver let out a little bit of a yelp as the tree branch snapped, and as he fell he felt his head connect with something hard; a branch. He landed on his side, hard, his shoulder screaming in protest as he sat upright. Blood poured down the left side of his forehead, and pressing three fingers to the wound he found that it no longer existed. Obviously he'd healed himself, and all that was left was a thin scar.

Hastily he tried to get rid of the blood; how would he explain it to Nikki? His shoulder ached, as did his hip, but nothing was damaged or broken, luckily. Then it dawned on him.

Where was Nikki?

"Nikki!" he hissed to noone in particular, keen eyes scanning the snow. "Nik- Oh! There you are!" He crawled through the snow, which bit at his skin, staring at her with his lips pressed into a thin line. "Are you alright?"

^^ It says you won't be on until thursday. Has that already happened, or is that starting now, you won't be on? :D
BIC:
For a moment, Nikki didn't understand what was going on. The snow that she landed on didn't help cushion the fall. It only made her shiver - her feet were now officially numb.
"Ouch..." She groaned to herself, as she rubbed her head and hip. Hot liquid trailed down her face, but she didn't notice it.
"Oliver?" She whispered when she heard her own name be called. "Oh yeah, I guess I'm fine." She said. Then, trying to bring some light in the situation, she started to chuckle and said,
"You told me the branches were sturdy."
She didn't say it accusingly, she was more of joking.

{ I'm not supposed to be on... But I'm babysitting my Grandmother's house because they decided to go to the States for a few hours. ;) My chance to hop on the internet! }

"I thought they were," Oliver grumbled. He touched the side of her face, and when he pulled back the tips of his fingers were red. "You're bleeding," he said stiffly, as if he were just stating an obvious fact.

His stomach rumbled from the smell of the blood, and his face heated up. "Come on. We'd better get back so we can put something on that. Did you break anything when you fell?" He seemed concerned, even though he wasn't completely.

Ohhhh I see xD You don't live in the states? For some reason, I always thought you did. Dx]

"Yeah I know I'm bleeding." Nikki grumbled back, also touching her face, and winced. At his question, she got up slowly, feeling pain in her lower back and side. "Oh my gosh..." She said to herself in pain. "I don't think I broke anything, but..." She shrugged, and said, "But I'll be fine." She tried to smile, but that only made the blood on her face trickle faster. Rolling her eyes, she wiped more of it off, only making her cut sting. "What will I say to my parents, when I can't even walk tomarrow - or right now, for that matter?" She asked herself, out loud, trying to think of an excuse.

{ No. I live right across the border from Detroit (Michigan), in southern Ontario. xDD Takes about 10 minutes to cross the border. ;P} 
{ A lot of people think I'm American. o3o LOL }

 "You fell down the stairs?" Oliver suggest, straightening out with a small groan. "You were jumping on the bed and fell off? You slipped in the shower?" He shrugged, hissed under his breath as a sharp pain shot through his left shoulder and arm.

"I should give you a piggy back home... you're not in much condition to be walking all the way back." He raised one eyebrow. "I mean, if you'd like. But I think you shouldn't walk anymore." 

[ Bhahahahaha xDDDD]
Nikki gave in this time. But she kept telling herself it was only because her back was hurting, and that she agreed with him about not walking anymore.
"Fine." She said, before walking toward him. "But, if I'm ontop of you, wouldn't it hurt you?" She asked, before realizing that she wanted him to give her a piggy back ride. Maybe it was because her back was hurting bad. Maybe it was because she wanted to know how his hair smelled.

[I have to go for a bit xD]

"No," Oliver lied, kneeling on the ground. He waited for her to climb onto his back patiently. "My shoulder isn't broken; I'll live. At least I can walk... besides, a little pain never hurt anyone. Too much."

Grinning to himself, he ran a hand through his hair. His knees were getting a bit numb from being in contact with the snow. He didn't mind though.  

[Awh really? Bahahaha I was actually being serious when I said that. xD
And, I'll probably use that for what she smells xD

Sighing and once again giving in, she tried to hide her 'eagerness' as she slipped into his back, trying to hide her smile as her arms wrapped around his kneck, and she immediately rested her head against his. She tried to act casual, as she moved her head slightly. Yes, she really wanted to know how he smelled.
And he smelled magnificent.
She would never be able to define the smell exactly, but she knew it was kind of like a fresh rain in a forest, or maybe even pine trees. And a hint of honey. [ xDD!!!]
"I'm ready..." She croaked, her mind still feeling dizzy as her nose pressed against his head.

{ LOL. Cheater. ;P Just kidding. }

Oliver grabbed the underside of her knees and straighted out, gritting his teeth as the aching in his shoulder came back. He could hear her inhale deeply; obviously smelling him. He stiffened, taking a moment to remind himself that she was human and couldn't smell the wolf on him.

Could she?

Relaxing as best as he could, he began to walk back towards the direction her house was in without saying anything. His head was spinning, the scent of blood strong in the air. It was making him hungry. Oh, so hungry...

But this was a human Oliver was thinking about. He wasn't allowed to feed on humans anymore, according to law. But his Alpha wasn't around... The inner turmoil took over his brain, almost making him forget about the pain in his shoulder.

As Oliver held on to her, Nikki held tighter to his kneck. She was starting to give up trying to resist the attraction she felt.
"Thanks Oliver." She whispered, while still laying her head on his. "You just tell me when you need to have me walk. I'll deal with the pain." And with that, she stayed silent, mostly because he was being just as silent before she said that.
