His beautiful mouth was confessing his intoxicating love for me as his arms were wrapped around my waist. We were on the tree, the tree we fell off of, but I wasn't acting scared. I was lieing on my back as he layed ontop of me, as he laid light kisses on my ear. On my cheek. On my kneck. Collarbone. And, finally my lips as his hands rubbed my arms. But, this couldn't be right. Oliver never gave me a loving glance. He never carressed my cheek, or played with my hair - it was rare, if anything. He never whispered seductive words in my ear, or ran his hands up my legs and waist. His tongue never-
Sweat was pouring off her brow as she lay on her stomach, hugging her pillow. The blankets were twisted around her at her ankles from her tossing and turning all night in her sleep from her dream. It was official. Love was confusing. Especially in dreams. And it made your sweat glands larger. When she finally opened her eyes, her heart skipped a beat. When did she get in here? "Oliver?" She found herself whisper, yet felt like an idiot when she realized she was just in a guest bedroom and he wasn't there. That meant he was still here in the house though. What if he came in to find her sweating like a hog? Sighing, she scrambled up and started using the blankets to wipe her sweat off of her underarms, forehead - anywhere. Then, she spread out the blankets so they were covering more then just her ankles, and laid there. Not having enough guts to go out to see if he was up.

{ Bwahaha, <3 Oliver's such a troll } Oliver wrapped the towel around his waist, running a hand through his soaked hair. He felt new, having just stepped out of the shower, and ready to face a new day. A smile tugging at his lips, he stepped out of the bathroom and into the hallway. How would she react if he walked into her room and woke her up, wearing nothing but a towel? For some reason, this made him out-right grin, and humming low under his breath he crept down the hall, pushing the door to her room open with one hand as he stood there in the doorway in all of his half-naked glory. "You're already away?" he asked, blue eyes pleased. "Good. That means I can get you back to your parents now. I'm sure they're worried sick, as it's almost noon..." He'd wanted to wake her up earlier, but let her sleep. She was... interesting as she slept. She mumbled in her sleep and rolled around a lot. Oliver watched her ex pression carefully, making sure he was standing so she could see him clearly.

[[Bahahahahaha omg this post is making me laugh sooo hard. <3 "All of his half-naked glory' omgomgomgomg...]]
Usually, Nikki would notice the little things about Oliver. The way his blue eyes pierced into her. The way his tone was loving and smooth. The way he acted as though it was a good thing she was leaving soon. That would usually play at her heart strings on a bad note. But, at that moment, all she could think of was him standing, half naked, with just a towel on. Did he have no shame? Or... Was he just teasing her again? No. Didn't he understand how much she liked him now? He wouldn't be so cruel.. "I..." She said, trying not to stare, which only made it worse. Her face turned crimson, and she her lips stretching to a smile as she rubbed her temple. Eyes dieing to go back to the almost- god at her doorway. Gulping nervously, she said, "Yeah..Yeah..I'm..." Her eyes looked back up at him, and she laughed at herself for being such a dork. To get herself to look away, she turned her back to him and put her feet on the ground, sitting on the bed. "Yeah I'm up..." She could finally get out while exhaling. Then, without thinking, she added, "You have to stop doing this to me, Oliver. It's too much for one heart." Just after she said that, did she realize what she was saying. Putting a hand over her face - kind of like a face palm but not so much force - she said, "Never mind..." Before getting up and trying to change the subject. "I don't remember coming in here... What happened last night?"

{ almost-god? xDDDD LOL } Oliver, the sexy god he was, pulled his most charming crooked smile on and winked at her. It's too much for one heart. You have to stop doing this to me, Oliver. His plan was working wonders on this human girl. It was actually very entertaining. "You passed out on my couch, drooling like some sort of dog," he explained playfully, trying to look interested in some dirt under his fignernails. "So I picked you up and hauled you up the stairs, threw you on this bed and left you here for dead. If you didn't have a pulse I would have been worried." Eyes flickering upwards, he scanned her over quickly. "I'll make brunch while you shower, if you'd like. There's a hairbrush and everything you need in the shower. In the hall, straight down, last door on the right." Turning to leave and get dressed, he paused at the doorway. "I hope you like pancakes." Then Oliver disappeared, locking his bedroom door before dropping the towel and starting to get dressed.

[[OMG HE'S SUCH A JERK. And, oh yes. Almost. Just because I felt that if I said 'god', it would make her sound...OBSESSED. <333 And, don't think this is too dramatic or anything. This is the exact thing I did when I was at a banquet when this guy I liked had a date there and I sat right next to them, so it's possible for this to happen bahahaha xDDD And, if you were wondering, it was the worse. night. ever. Dx]] Her heart felt as though it was a dam, and it just opened up letting water flow out so fast that there was an acheing that made her want to vomit. He just threw her on the bed? Hauled her up the stairs? Her breathing quickened but not with excitement. The ache in her heart hurt more then any pain she ever felt. She'd rather fall off a hundred trees before hearing what she just heard by the guy that meant everything to her. "I do like them..." Nikki heard her voice whisper, for her body couldn't make it produce any louder. But, her mind was so loud with thoughts and pains that she didn't remember saying it. When he was gone, and into his bedroom, she found herself staring with a sad frown on her face at the open door way. Tears brimming her eyes. With a deep sigh to control herself, she wiped whatever trace of small tears were on her face, and went where his directions told her for the bathrooms. When she walked, it felt like she was double the wieght she used to be. It was like this was the dream. And, her dream was the reality. When she reached the door that he directed her too, she opened it quickly, and locked it once it was closed. Not being able to control herself any longer, her lip quivered violently as her whole body shook. She sat on the floor by the shower and did silent tears. She made sure not one shaking breath was heard aloud, everything completely mute as she cried. It was either let it out now, so she could put on a face for him when she got downstairs. Or kept it in until she cried right infront of him.

{ D'aww. D: -snuggles- } Once he was dressed, fabulously I might add, Oliver didn't think much about Nikki at all. He simply went downstairs, cut through the livingroom, and began to prepare their tasty feast of pancakes, sausage, orange juice and hashbrowns. He spent a good hour or so making everything they needed to eat, taking his time putting the plates on his expensive-looking glass kitchen table. Walking into the livingroom, he called up the stairs, "Nikki! Time to eat! Put some clothes on and get your skinny butt down here!" Smiling, he hummed under his breath and flopped down on the couch, waiting for her to come down.

[[LOL. Yeah, my mom still has the same reaction when someone brings up the guy... Dx]] When she finally calmed down, she took a shower, and washed her face about five times to keep any trace of crying from her face. Finally, her eyes weren't bloodshot, and looked normal. She heard Oliver's angelic voice, which right now were cutting like daggers. Swallowing, she looked at herself in the door mirror. She looked like anyone would look after getting out of the shower. No trace of the episode. Checking her eyes one more time to make sure they were fine, she took a deep breath and just now realized she lost her appetite. Just looking at him will make her lose her appetite. "Hey." She said, as she reached the bottom of the stairs. Planning to shove it down her throat even though she wasn't hungry.

{ Oliver. D: Broke her heart. D: homg. D: } Oliver smiled brightly, as if happy to see her. "There you are. I was starting to get a bit worried. Well, it's in the kitchen, if you'd so kindly follow me." Not waiting for her, he walked into his kitchen and sat down, presenting their meal. He had a candle lit, a stack of syrup-covered pancakes surrounded by sausage and hashbrowns filling each plate. Not to the brim, though. Just enough that it looked like it came from a magazine. He grinned. "I made it special... just for you. Pain in the butt. Burned my hand about five times." He stabbed a piece of hashbrown on his fork and shoved it in his mouth, swallowing before speaking agian. "Well, eat up."

[[Ik. D: ]] Nikki didn't smile back at him when he first saw her. She kept herself from frowning - and felt that she did a farely good job at it - but she couldn't get her lips to smile yet. "Alright." She said softly, as she followed. Usually, with the way he set the table, she would have felt like she was walking on air. But, right now, looking at it, she felt like it was all a game. He didn't care about her at all. Her hands shook at that thought, but she immediately stopped them and obeyed him by sitting down. "Thanks." She said, before sitting down. But, she'll never forget the hurtful words that pierced her heart again and again. It felt as though someone was taking a knife, and every time Oliver said something that hurt her, that knife stabbed her, but came out again, prepared for the next time Oliver said something insensitive. She couldn't put on this brave face at his next response. Was she the pain? Was that what he meant? And, why would he make this special, just for her? She concluded that it was apart of that stupid game he did. Always teasing her by doing something flirty. Except this time, he wasn't flirting. He did something that would usually make her love him more. She took a bite of the pancakes after asking, "Is your hand alright?" All she had to do, was act the way she would normally act. That was just hard, because she was sure that she would randomly smile at him with that 'crush' glint in her eyes. She couldn't even keep good eye contact with him now.

Oliver slowly put down his fork, narrowing his eyes at her unhappily. Leaning back in his chair, he crossed his arms over his chest and just stared at her with a displeased look on his face. "It's insulting," he began slowly. "that you're going to sit there and act like nothing is going on, Nikki. I can tell when you're not in a pleasant mood, even if I've only known you for three days." This was the truth; humans always had some little tick that revealed they were forcing a smile. They sat stiffer than usual, they sweat, the muscles in their faces twitched, or their eyes were unusally blank or focused on one thing in the room. He found it annoying that Nikki wasn't happy, even though he'd made her such a nice meal. "What's wrong." It wasn't so much of a question, as a demand. He didn't touch his foot, continuing to stare her down. "And don't try to lie to me, either. I want the truth. Just like I've been truthful with you." Lying was so easy for him it felt like his native language. There were no flaws, no stuttering, and no hesitation in the gesture.

How could he have known that something was wrong? It was probably because of that stupid dorky smile she always did to him - and, she didn't do it this time. She really had to learn to be not such a dork when it came to guys. Part of her kept telling her that this was her chance to tell him everything. But, what was the point? He hurt her - what could he do about it? He didn't even care. So why was he asking what was wrong? If he didn't care, he wouldn't have asked. But, Oliver seemed to be able to keep a straight face with everything. It was possible he was lieing. Nothing seemed like the right answer here. After staring back at Olivers stare, wide eyed, she leaned back in her own chair as he did. For a moment, all was silent. And then he commanded to say what was wrong. "You don't scare me, Oliver." She started - with a whisper - as she frowned at him. No sense in keeping an act by her ex pression if he already knew something was wrong. "You've been truthful to me? Like when?" She asked, as she crossed her arms. Honestly, she had no idea where she was going with this. But, she refused to tell him what was wrong. Only, more fear crept into her mind when she thought about what she said. Men are competitive and always need to prove something. She just admitted that she wasn't scared of him. He wouldn't be stupid enough to show her why she should, would he? He hurt her emotionally. He could hurt her physically. Frowning now for a different reason, she became lost in her own thoughts - completely forgetting Oliver was there - as she looked at the candles flame in the middle of the table. Its glow made her eyes mesmorized as she felt a desire to leave this house. Her bedroom was her comfort zone. Checking the time on her watch, she then looked back up at him and said, "Never mind. Don't answer that. I think we should hurry up, because my parents..." She did a wave of her hand to gesture what she meant.

Oliver's voice cracked when he spoke. "Then leave," he muttered, shoving his plate away from himself. He'd lost his appetite. Setting his elbows on the table, he buried his face in his hands. She was less intelligent than he'd thought. Why shouldn't she be scared of him? He was even scared of himself some times. Why did her moods always change so suddenly? Why was it so hard to break through her shell and get into her head? Grinding his teeth together, he sighed. "Get out of here, Nikki. You're right. Your parents will be looking for you. I never should have knocked on your window." He didn't look up at her, for once. He just sat there, listening to her breathing and heartbeat like he'd never heard anything more enchanting. He waited for her to leave, and for the first time in the past three days, he felt disappointed. Almost sad.

Nikki stared at him, once again, for long beats. Trying to read his gesture. Usually, covering your face with your hands, showed a sign of being distraught. Upset. But, this didn't bring any empathy to Nikki. It only made her only more infuriated. How dare Oliver! Charming right into Nikki's heart, playing the strings, and leaving for it to rot. And, now he is going to act like he's upset with her leaving? And, the second he gets what he wanted - her staying - he'll treat her like she's nothing again. Instead of frowning, she did a piercing glare with an irritated sigh as she got up. She made sure she had everything that was hers [I can't remember if she brought a bag or anything.] and walked to the door, slowly. Everything seemed to slow, as her head kept repeating the same words. "I never should have knocked on your window." Of course, no matter what he's done, she still had those miserable 'feelings' for him that she so regretted. Whether she liked it or not, she was hurt by his words - yet once again. Weird how much she hated him right now. Yet, could never hate him fully. As she reached the door, her hand grabbed the door knob, and didn't turn around as she said, "Your very right. You shouldn't have." Nikki couldn't get herself to say anything related to a 'Thank You'. He's done enough for her, that didn't need one. And, with that, she left the house. You'd think she'd feel relieved, but that part in her heart that belonged to him was realing her back inside that house. She fought the urge as she trudged on with a frown.

Oliver didn't move for a long time. He didn't even notice he was alone until about a half hour later, when he lifted his head and stared with red-rimmed eyes at the empty seat in front of him. Slowly, he rose, cleaning up both untouched plates of food as if he were made of metal. Everything felt so robotic. He walked into the livingroom after, glancing at the door for a fleeting moment. He kenw she wasn't going to be standing on the other side... but he couldn't help wishing. Pulling open the door, he felt his stomach plummet when nothing greeted him on the other side. He dropped his eyes, eyebrows shooting up when he saw a small letter resting at his feet. Oliver picked it up carefully, returning to the kitchen with the letter in hand. He opened it, staring at the words on the page with distant eyes. It took him a long time to realize what it said. Dear Ollie, We know you have the girl. We showed Riven a picture and he identified her. Meet me at the river tomorrow at noon, girl in hand, or we'll hunt you down and kill you both. Running is pointless. With love, xo The Alpha Cringing, Oliver crumpled up the letter and threw it on the ground. Now he had no choice. Tonight he would kidnap Nikki, whether she liked it or not.

[[I'm poofing alot, so sorry I did now. My Nanny and Daddad's 50th anniversary is on Sunday, so the family is doing alot for planning -.- ]] The whole walk back to her own house was filled with sobs, grumbles, and kicking slush in annoyance. By the end, her mind decided that she absolutely did hate Oliver. She even grumbled it many times as she kicked the slush. Yet her heart kept telling her differently. Why should she even feel that way about Oliver, if he didn't show any affection back? That thought only made her do it again: Kicking the slush, she grumbled, "I hate you, Oliver. With all my heart." As she avoided a huge ice patch on the sidewalk, she realized how dangerous it was out here. By herself. She wasn't smart to leave without Oliver. Her feet stopped in their tracks. What if someone comes and takes her? Who would hear her screams? If anyone did, would they have enough courage to come out, themselves? Realizing this, she started for a run. Unfortunately, that resulted in slamming right on her back from the ice she was still trying to avoid. Grumbling more hatred words at Oliver - thinking this was all his fault for being such a jerk - while getting up, she was more careful walking as she reached her home. She wasn't the most smooth girl around. Walking into the house was anything but quiet. The second she tried the front door, it was locked. Which meant she banged her head right against the front door window, loudly. Having a temper tantrum at how horrible this situation was going right now, she started stomping on the front porch angrily while mumbling: "This is all his fault. Gosh, I hate him, I hate him, I hate him..." She tried the door again, making the door knob rattle again and again. And, before she knew it, her scared-ex pression mother was infront of the door window. Being surprised by her being there, Nikki screamed, but quickly closed her mouth when she found it being her mother. Her mother opened the door, and carrassed both of Nikki's cheeks. "What are you doing out here!" She exclaimed worriedly as she wrapped her arms around her baby girls cold body. "Oh, your so cold. Shhh..." Her mother started comforting as Nikki cried some more. The only thing was Nikki was crying for a different reason then her mother thought.

{ I'm skipping to that night... ;0; Because omg. } Oliver twised the key, not moving for a long time. His black Mustang GT sat at the curb of her house as he climbed out and shut the door with care. He found that his hands were shaking, his stomach tied in knots. He slowly crept around the building, and into her backyard, staring at the window high above his head that seemed to hold more than just a sleeping human. He set forwards climbing her tree, as he usually did, and when he reached the tallest branch he hesistated. What if she screamed? What if she wouldn't come? He leaped, landing with just the tips of his fingers holding him up. He adjusted his grip on the windowsill and pressed one hand on the window, pulled the glass to one side. She'd left it unlocked again. Why? He'd assumed she was mad at him for some reason. Oliver could see her curled up under the blankets, fast asleep, and chose to just watch her for a few minutes before waking her. Sitting in the chair at her desk, the minutes turned to hours. Finally, at about One in the morning, he rose and sat beside her, placing a shaking hand on her cheek. "Nikki," he whispered softly. "Come. We haven't much time."

[[Bahahahaha <333 It's fine. xDDD I'm making a thread soon on why I'm not on as much. It's not all dramatic, but just so you know... To be honest, I've only been going on because this rp is getting so good. xD ]]
Surprisingly, Nikki's lie about just wanting to go out worked well for her parents. She felt horrible for lieing. It's all his fault... She thought bitterly to herself as she went to bed that night. ~ I was walking. I don't know where I am and how I got here. All I knew to do was walk forward without looking back. As I trudged on, I saw that I was walking straight to Olivers home. The one I left just hours ago. He was standing at the front door, a loving smile on his face. We walked towards eachother even faster now, and the second we closed the gap between us, I noticed that it wasn't a loving smile Oliver had plastered on his face. It was a sneer. A ugly bitter miserable sneer as he pushed me away, killing me by saying how stupid I was for thinking he liked me. He started telling me how clueless, oblivious, and even vulnerable I am, and always would be. I would never be good enough. Before I knew it, his hand was raised, about to finish what he started with his verbal abuse with a physical one. Just as his hand reached my face- ~ Nikki felt a hand on her face as she opened her eyes slowly. The second she realized that it was Oliver, she really felt that, that dream was real. With a whimper, she slapped his hand away and kicked him off the bed, as foreful as she could get it. "Get away from me!" Nikki said, breathing heavily before she realized that this was reality. The dream was over. Frowning, she sat up and mumbled, "Sorry, I... You scared me."

Oliver sat dazed on the floor, holding his hand to his chest like she'd actually hurt him. Thin-lipped he frowned, ex pression hard to read due to the hair in his eyes. "Sorry I scared you then," he said quietly as he pulled himself to his feet and gazed at her in silence. Smiling, although it was not a happy smile, he brushed off his pants and ran a hand through his hair. "Nikki," he began slowly, voice shaking. How would he say this? He wasn't sure she would be so willing to run off with him now. She had too much to leave behind; parents, friends... Maybe even a boyfriend; he wasn't sure. He didn't recal asking about one. "I know this is going to sound insane, but. I need you to trust me." Swallowing, he strode across the room and flicked the light on. "We need to leave the city. Only for a short while, but... I'm going to have to ask you to pack your bags and come with me." Oliver added on quickly, "I wouldn't be doing this unless it was urgent."

Oliver was a nutcase. Insane nutcase. It was officially true. "You're right, you're sounding insane!" She said, while exhaling and rubbing her eyes from the light blinding her. As she kept her hands covering her face - because of the light - she added, "I can't just leave my parents. My home!" Her muffled voice exclaimed before taking her hands off, and getting up from the bed. With a frown, she walked towards Oliver. "Why do we need to leave the city? What's going on that's so urgent?" She asked, as she crossed her arms. The last thing she wanted was to run away with Oliver, but she was still wanting to know why. He really was insane.
