Welp, it's that time of year again. You know, the time where rps start to die and there are none open and hardly anyone looking for someone to rp with... Yeah, those times.
Now onto introductions and getting down to business! I will try to keep it short :)
I am Unique, but you can call me Uni or Leo, or whatever you like! Some of you may or not know me, but that doesn't really matter, what matters is that you are interested in roleplaying with me!
First things first, literacy. Literacy is a big factor when rping with me. With small groups I am more lenient but with 1x1 I expect more. I will most likely ask for an example of your skills, but if you could include it when you post here and ask to rp with me, I would greatly appreciate it! Now, as for the amount of paragraphs and whatnot, of course, I expect correct grammar and spelling and as for 1x1 paragraph lengths, I'd like it if you can keep it between 5 through 7 paragraphs with about 4+ sentences. Of course, the more the merrier! As for small groups, I expect at least 3 paragraphs with about 4+ sentences. ~I understand when your brain lacks the motivation and inspiration to fulfill my needs, and that is completely understandable!
If I haven't scared you off, which I assume I didn't, then the rest should be fairly easy. I can rp either here on the forums or through email. I won't do anything based on books, movies, anime, ect. I also won't do zombies, or animal roleplays. We can do ones where people have special abilities and shape shift into animals, but none where they are solely animals. Anyways, another requirement I have is that there has to be some romance in the roleplay, no matter how small.
I think that is all, if you have any questions feel free to post or rmail me. Just shoot me ideas you have and I will let you know if I am interested or not. I will also be posting small summaries below of plots that I have already made up and have attempted to rp in the past that had failed horribly. If you are interested in any of those just let me know and I will rmail you the plot and we can change it or adjust it or use it as inspiration to create our own. Anyways, here:
1) The Pandora box has shattered! Plague and diseases have been spreading throughout Babylon and it is up to young magician apprentices to reconstruct the box before Babylon withers away. They will need, not only need their magic, but Babylon candles that allows them to travel at the speed of light. Embarking on this journey is dangerous and there are plenty of people and creatures who will try to stop their success.
2) The village is cursed by the Dryad Queen; no one can leave, no one can enter and no one can die, well, that is until the last apple falls from the tree that sits in the center of the village. The village is in their last year of life before they get lit up in flames and die. However, there might be a way to stop the curse, and the only way to do that is through the Dryad hybrids who are ridiculed and hated all over the village. They will have to find a way to leave the village or come up with a solution to save the village that they despise so much, for only they have the power to do so.
3) There are 4 kids all the age of 17 and each one lives in a different Kingdom. Two of the kids are sorcerers and the other two are clairvoyant, though the clairvoyant children also know how to do magic. They are all supposed to work together to prevent war and create a balance in the world, but instead they are all enemies. They all have different views of the war and whether they like it or not, somehow they have to come together and stop the war.
4) This one is a survival and diary rp. There are a group of wealthy kids who flea Europe due to the war going on. They were on their way to America when their ship got shot down by an enemy aircraft. The plane crashed on a desolate island and not everyone survived and there were many who were hurt. The kids have to learn how to survive the nightmare and keep holding onto the sliver of hope of being found.
5) For 16 weeks, kids of all ages and various classes have to learn to live together as they board a vessel that will take them across the ocean to America where their parents have sent them to attend the same boarding school. There are many reasons why their parents have sent them off, but for the most part it is punishment for being out of line, rebellious, or that of the like. Hatred, love, allies, and enemies will become that of the norm.
6) Here is a recent one that seems to have died on me (though it has only been a week). It has Greek mythology in it and is about reincarnation and how there is a person who is trying to kill the reincarnation, one who is trying to protect him and the last is after his power and will get it as she deems fit. This is short because of the huge plot you will have to read if you are interested.

Here is teh plot:
The great country of freedom, the United States of America, is now no longer. The states that were contained in its borders are no longer. Alaska has been absorbed by Canada and the Hawaiian Islands have been reclaimed by the Pacific. In place of the states are now three different countries; the military dictatorship of Xananius, the monarchy of Calluanul, and the republic of Eris.
Welcome to the 25th century ACE. The world has grown into new technology and new experimentation. Now, living in the world with humans are hybrids; human/animal splicers made by scientists across the world. When the scientists made more than they originally meant, they were prosecuted. Then, they were all sent to Calluanul to form their own people since they had become quite numerous as they bred among themselves. Humans who had lived in the old country fled either to Xananius (who harbored deep hatred for the hybrids) or Eris (where hybrids were welcomed to live equally with the humans).
However, in 2529 ACE, things started to change. Xananius declared war on Calluanul. Refugees fled to Eris which destabilized their economy. Wider gaps were made between the rich and the poor. Street gangs rose throughout the poor boroughs, having been kept to the shadows long enough. In Calluanul, things have taken a nasty turn for the worst. 2535 ACE, the royal family has forced its heirs to flee to Eris.
Isedon Miashimi, whose blood is shared with one of the richest families in Eris, was raised as a gutter rat. Scarred, distant, and rather crass, she knows the alleys and the street gangs by name. How? She was raised by them in between regular beatings from her abusive parents. But one day she meets a strange group of travelers, asking for asylum.

Oooo! I really like the plot Dragon! I do have a few questions, however. So every one in Calluanul is purely made up of hybrids, and there is a monarchy of hybrids there - or I should say were? Oh and when you say "old county" do you mean America or Calluanul? I am sure these are just small and useless questions, but I want to be sure before I make a character. Speaking of which, how many characters are we going to have and what will be their age range? Oh! And, I am assuming that my character(s) will be affiliated with the strange group? If so, then who and what are they?
And before I forget, do you want to do this rp over the forums or through email? Either or works for me, so what ever works best for you! |

Thanks~ I had to go through it a few times before it was something that made sense.
And I will try to answer your questions to the best of my ability since I am on my mother's iPhone.
There is still a monarchy in Calluanul and some hybrids still live within the kingdom's boarders. “Old country” refers to America before they split into three.
Age range will be 18-25 or so since Isedon is eighteen. Yes, your characters will be the strange group. One will be the crown prince and maybe a singular servant and a singular Royal Guard.
I am a big fan of using Skype since Isedon will most likely be swearing whenever she gets the chance. I've tried using email and it doesn't work for me to be completely honest. I also enjoy roleplaying on the forums.

Awesome! You've answers all my questions!! So, will I be rping all of the three from the srange group? I mean I would love to and think it work best, but if you want to rp one of them then thats fine too.
Also, I habe never used Skype as a way to rp so you'd have to enlighten me on that one. I would be willing to give it a shot though.

Skype includes an IM system so you don't have to use video call/chat all the time. I used it with several of my friends and its much easier to use than texting as well.
If you want to be all three, you can. I will most likely be introducing other side characters along the way.

Unique-chan! Kake-chan would love to role play with you! I find number four and five interesting and I prefer to write on a thread since it is more convenient. I also find number six interesting, but I believe it to be the same plot as another I am currently taking part of, so I figured it would be hard to keep up if I did both.

Alright! Sounds good Dragon! I shall attempt to rp over skype and i will dig up my skype info tomorrow. I am at a friends house right now and using my phone to go on the internet.
And sure thing Kake! Rping on the forums are perfectly fine and I will rmail or post the two plot, four and five tomorrow. And yes, number six is the one that is curently dwindling in despair. |
