Acheron smelt the lie as she told it. He felt the corner of his lips twitch, but smirk would not curve them. He heard as the boys around them both took a step back as fear permeated their scents. Within a few moments, they took off running. When Acheron could no longer smell them, he let out a faint chuckle.
"You lied, didn't you, girl?" he asked, not knowing her name.
He tensed his muscles as he moved to get to his feet. But pain lanced across the arm laying furthest in the snow and he inhaled sharply, causing more pain to snap around his torso. Letting out a groan of pain, he slumped back into the icy cold.

My mouth hung open as I saw them run away. It worked? Man my lying has gotten good. I watched them run away with fear with a hand on my hip as a smirk began to form on my lips. No one will ever believe I was actually doing this.
I blinked and looked down at the guy by my feet, the one whom I completely forgot was the reason I was here. The happiness from before went back to worry as I went to my knee to help him lay back on the floor easily and looked at the blood with a wince.
"Of course I did. My dad is a telemarketer and my mother is an elementary school teacher." I said it with a faint chuckle, making my breath visible because of how cold it was, before glancing back to where the other guys had run away just to make sure. What if they came back to see that my dad never came? I swallowed, telling myself not to worry.
"I think the real question is, what did you do to make them do this to you?"
I said in disbelief at the wounds I could see.

He smiled slightly through the pain before trying to get up again. Again, he was brought back down to the cold. He just couldn't get up on his own. When the girl asked why they attacked, he shrugged one shoulder, even though he knew why. They saw him shift from wolf to man.
"Not sure," he lied. "I think they're on some kind of drug or something." His voice still didn't get any higher than the whisper and he felt his vision start to slack. Black dots danced in his peripherals as the ob ject he stared at started to get blurry.

I realized after he answered that this wasn't the time to ask questions. The guy obviously needed some medical help and was probably freezing.
"Alright, let me help you." I mumbled as I wrapped an arm around his waist to lift him up. As I did so, I added, "I should probably know your name so the hospital can call your parents or something."

Acheron wrapped one arm around her thin shoulders as she wrapped an arm around his waist to pull himself to his feet. His breath came in quick, shallow pants when he finally stood vertical. He was careful with the claws tipping his fingers, making sure they did not tear her clothing.
"No hospitals," he said, panic rising in his throat. If he went there, and they saw the feathers and scales and claws he had, he'd be sent to some laboratory somewhere and studied like a rat. He won't have any rights.

I would have looked up at him in surprise if it wasn't for the sight of blood making me sick. ( that's all I could think of for her not noticing the scales yet |D ) No hospitals? Was he a moron?
"You're hurt really bad. You need medical attention." I stressed, watching our step as I started leading him out of the street as slowly as I could with the ice. There was a lot of blood here and a part of me kept wincing at it but of course, the guy needed help so I wasn't complaining.
"Alright fine. If not the hospital, then where do you suppose I take you? I can't just leave you on the street."

Acheron dragged his feet along with her steps. She was moving slow, which was fine by him and he knew she was watching out for the ice. As she stressed that he needed medical attention, he mentally agreed with her. But a hospital was just somewhere he could not go. Where he could never go. He fought back another wave of panic as he heard her question.
"Your house, perhaps?" he asked, tilting his head forward so the coarse crimson locks hid the feathers on his face and made a veil so his jade eyes could look at her without her noticing. No doubt she could feel his gaze, but that couldn't be helped.

Night!
Bic;
My house? I thought with a panic as we got to the sidewalk and around the corner. How could I ever get a guy bloodied and wounded in my house with out my parents wondering what was going on? Why would I ever bring a guy I didn't know into my house?
But then again, I couldn't just leave the guy on the street. With a sigh, I said, "We have a huge shed behind the house, big enough for you to stay in tonight. It's either that or the hospital, take your pick."
No way was he coming in my home. I wouldn't know what to do with myself if my parents found him there.

What she offered him was a whole lot better. He'd rather be in a shed than poked at in a hospital. "The shed will be fine for now," he said.

It's ok; I'm just happy you're on. 8D
You'd be proud; I stayed up until 4 o clock last night. :I
Bic;
As we started towards my house, which luckily wasn't that far away, I asked,
"I should still probably know your name?"
I was still worried about who this guy was. Who knows; maybe the guy I was helping was the 'bad guy' here. Maybe he deserved to get beaten. I mean, he didn't give me much detail as to why those guys would do something like this to him.
But then again, he looked too injured to do any harm to me. So I'd be okay for now.

She started moving again. Hopefully her home was close by. He didn't know how long he could take being out in the cold with nothing more than the clothes on his back. Plus the blood loss didn't really help at all. His brows furrowed together when she asked for his name.
"Acheron Styxx," he said. After the Rivers of Woe and Hate in the Greek Underworld.

I lifted an eyebrow; Acheron Styxx is definitely not a name you hear every day. "Nichole." I said back at him just as we met with the front of my house. "Just... Be really quiet. I can't have my parents know you're here."
Ooc;
I didn't want to power play him going over the gate so if you just want to skip that part and go to them going in the shed, that's fine. |D
I got you; I usually don't have that problem of power playing people's charrie's but she's kind of helping him move so it's an awkward situation to rp with out power playing like everything. D|
Bic;
I led him to the gate and did the best I could helping the wounded man through the gate with out making too much noise. After finally getting him on the other side,while at the same time holding the door to make sure it didn't open or close to quickly that it would make noise, I locked the gate and put an arm around his waist once more. The snow in the back yard was a bit higher so it was more difficult to take him to the gate with out hurting him a little bit by how tightly I had to hold.
Getting the gate unlocked, I left him there after saying,
"I'll be right back."
I said as I started walking out of the shed.
------------------------
It was a challenge to get into my parents bed room without waking them up but I finally found two of my dad's pajama pants - it's cold out so Acheron might want layers - a couple long sleeved t-shirts and wool socks. After also getting things from the bathroom for his wounds, I layered once more and started walking back out to the shed.
This was crazy! Madness. Why was I helping someone I didn't even know? Of course I couldn't leave him on the street but allowing some random guy to sleep in my shed? I didn't even know him.
I came back in the shed and set down his clothes before holding up alcohol for the wounds and bandages. "I should take a look at those wounds, since you're dumb enough not to want actual medical attention."

If its that small of a powerplay, I don't really mind. I only have problems if it is huge...

Acheron was helpless has he watched the girl, Nichole, open the gate into her backyard with a bit of a struggle. Considering he was nothing but dead weight at the moment. Weathered jade eyes closed for a moment. When he opened them, he was inside the shed with Nichole leaving after stating she'd be back.
Once she left, he moved so his back was firmly against the shed wall, his legs curled up so his knees were level with his shoulders and his arms were kept between his thighs and his chest. Inside his shoes, his toes curled in an attempt to get them warm. Acheron rested his forehead on his knees, crimson hair splaying on either side of him.
He had dozed off until he heard the sound of the shed door opening. Cold winter air seeping through the open barrier. On instinct, he tightened the little ball he was in until the door was closed again and he heard her voice.
Shifting his head, he glanced through the red strands of his hair to glance at her. It looked like she had several sets of cloths and something to dress and bind the wounds inflicted by the switchblade. Are those clothes for me? he wondered as he shifted his legs so he sat cross-legged.
Most of the wounds he sustained were upper body ones. On his chest and arms. With a bit of difficulty, Acheron managed to remove his shirt and reveal the lacerations to her.

I looked at his chest with a wince after he removed his shirt. I wasn't the best with blood or wounds but it's not like he had anyone else.
"Okay just... Just hold still." I winced once more as I started to pour the alcohol on the wounds to clean, then dabbing it with the rag to wipe the blood off.
After plenty of gags and winces, I was finished cleaning his arms and chest. Grabbing the bandages, I went back down on my knees to wrap them around his arm.
"Are there more then just flesh wounds? Any bones broken?"

Acheron noticed her wince when he removed the shirt. He sighed mentally. She wasn't comfortable around the sight of blood then. To help stop the bleeding, he sat still as she worked. Ignoring the chill on his flesh whenever her fingers touched him. When she was done and asked more questions, he inhaled a breath and his chest started to hurt.
"Ribs might be broken, cracked, or bruised since they hurt like hell," he responded.

I sighed with frustration as I started wrapping the bandage around his chest/rib area to keep that spot secure. "You know this wouldn't be as painful for either of us if you would just go to the hospital so actual professional doctors could take care of you."
I said with a roll of my eyes. I would have blood on my fingers if he just wasn't so stubborn. After finishing with the bandages, I stayed on my knees at eye level with him.
"What's so wrong with the hospital, Acheron?"
I asked. I couldn't help but be a little suspicious at this stranger.

He remained still as she wrapped his ribs to keep them from moving out of alignment and to keep them from puncturing a lung. He wasn't in the mood to start coughing up blood or drowning in the life-sustaining liquid. His weathered jade eyes looked up to her from the spot he had been staring at for the past couple minutes. They blinked once and his reply was simple.
"I won't go back into a cage."

Omg I'm so sorry I just realized she could probably see his scales and stuff by now. Right?
If so, describe to me what it looks like/where they are and stuff so I know what to write down/imagine. :D
I'm going to bed though so I'll post tomorrow.<3
