(( I'm going with the theory that it's he conspiracy to drive me up and over the Berlin Wall o_o
And yeah. I think that's the first time I've ever lost my temper online XD I think it's cuz my depression's acting up again... ))
Zain sighed, following Taylor down the beach. He hesitantly approached her. He didn't know how to handle these sort of things. When Allen had been younger and lost his temper, he would always just beat on Zane's chest until his anger calmed and he broke down in Zane's arms. The problem was, Allen handled it as if Zane wasn't there. He didn't expect Zane to say anything or make any gestures of sympathy. But Zane didn't think that would work for Taylor. She was different from Allen so he didn't expect their expectations to be the same.
He had been about to take another step towards her when Shadow approached her. He immediately backed off. She would probably prefer her partner's company over him. He sighed and walked over to one of the wreckages, the one Vic had been investigating. When the snake popped out and slithered over to Zane, he had a small duffel bag hanging from his mouth and he set it in front of his partner, gesturing for him to open it. Zane did and he found several full changes of clothes as well as a pair of boots that would fit him. He sighed.
"I don't know how you did it so fast, but a deals a deal." Zane said, holding out his hand. Vic grinned and wrapped his tail around Zane's hand. They shook then released each other. They nodded to each other, not needing to exchange words. Zane looked around to see if anyone was looking before ducking behind the wreckage to change. Vic watched him pull on the boots, white t-shirt, and faded blue jeans. They were meant for a bulkier man so they looked big on him but the look seemed to be missing something so he pulled a khaki jacket from the bag and tossed it to Zain, who caught it.
"It'll make you look better." Vic said simply, earning an "I'm on a deserted island, why do I have to look 'better'" look from Zane. Vic flicked his tail. "Trust me. You'll thank me later." Zane rolled his eyes, but pulled it on anyways. Vic observed him for a few more seconds. "One last thing." he said, pulling out something small and tossing it to Zane. Zane caught it and looked at in surprise. His grandfather's old navy dog-tags. He hadn't been wearing them at the time of the crash so he thought they'd be lost forever.
"Thanks," Zane muttered, pulling them on over his neck. They rested against his chest comfortably. He couldn't believe Vic had found them.
