Allen stared at Shadow for a moment like he was crazy before holding his hands out as if to point out Taylor and Zane. "But Zane... Zane with..." Allen looked around seeming like he was looking for the right words to describe what he saw. When no ideas came to him, he frowned, then faked fainting, falling back on the sand with his had still twitching. 

Yuri watched with amusement before giving Shadow what could have been a shrug. He stretched out onto the sand and flipped over on his back, allowing his limbs to occasionally twitch. He had to force himself not to grin. It was rather fun faking unconsciousness, even if it was an obvious fake.

Zane glared at the two of them, clearly annoyed, but didn't let go of Taylor's hand. "They're like twins and twice as annoying." he said, groaning slightly. His brother could be so immature, it was almost incredible.  

Shadow did not think he could ever understand Allen and for that matter, Yuri. He seemed to shrug and nosed Taylor. Her hand immedietly went to his nose. "It's healed already," She said and Shadow nodded. "We heal fast," He stated and swung his large head in the other direction. "I think we should go. We have everything we need," He said and Taylor could see the worry in his eyes. She hoped this war ended soon because she did not want to have to live afraid the whole time she was here. Shadow pulled ahead of the others. "If your ready, we can go," He said and began to walk into the woods.

Taylor watched him go and immedietly felt vulnerable. She knew Yuri could protect him, but with him faking unconsciousness in the sand, she had her doubts. Her eyes slid over to Zane's. "You said Yuri and Allen are like twins. How are you and Vic getting along?" She asked.

Zane looked over at Taylor. It seemed like something was off with her. "We're getting along fine I guess. I've decided to tolerate him and he's been giving me my space, so I suppose things are fine." he said with a shrug. He felt almost indifferent to Vic. Both of them were trying hard to block their connection as much as they could, but it was still there. It bothered Zane slightly but it bothered him even more because he could steadily feel himself getting more used to it and relaxing on the block.

He shrugged again and turned his attention back to his brother. "Hey, time to go." he said in a dull voice, kicking a bit of sand onto Allen's chest.

Allen jumped up, brushing the sand off his chest as well as patting off the rest of his clothing. There was nothing more annoying than sand in places it shouldn't be. "You're no fun." he complained, grinning at Zane, who just rolled his eyes.

Yuri rolled back onto his feet and stood up, shaking the sand from his pelt. "Just for the record, I don't know what that accomplished, but it was fun." he purred, looking at the three humans.  

Taylor smiled at Yuri. "What you just accomplished was helping Allen annoy Zane. I guess you could say mission accomplished," She said and winked at Allen. She sneezed onto the sand once before standing straight up. "I guess we should head back," She said, holding back another sneeze. She wanted to get back as soon as they good. Something was wrong with Shadow, like he expected something to happen tonight. She tugged on Zane's hand and started to walk the way Shadow was.

Sasori looked Maksis up and down. His stone-washed jeans and black sweatshirt looked very fitting on him. He himself, examined the clothes. "They're not too bad," He said. He felt pretty comfortable in the clothes, but he glanced at Sasori again. "Did you find any shorts in case it gets too warm," He asked and Sasori nodded, holding up a small, black backpack. Maksis looked down at himself again and at the jeans. Sasori rolled her eyes and raised a black paw before slashing a few holes into the jeans. It let some air into Maksis's legs and he did not feel overheated anymore. "Thanks," He said and Sasori mumbled a "Your Welcome," Through the pack. Maksis shouldered it and climbed onto her back. Sasori cocked her head and followed the sounds of Shadow moving through the forest.

Shadow padded through the dark canopy of the trees. His eyes turned silver as his night-vision took in the space around him. His pelt brushed against a few leaves and his dark wings rustled. He hadn't been flying for ages and he was beginning to feel the effects of it. He felt vulnerable on the ground now and knew the only way he could tread in peace was if Lunar was dead and gone. "Soon," He whispered to himself. "Soon."

Lunar drank from the small puddle of water to her right and sat lazily on a small rock. Her tail swished with anger. She wanted the Spirits gone now. Their presence since the humans had come was overpowering. They seemed to be growing stronger and no doubt, they already learned how to fight. "Crux," She called. "We need to make battle plans."

Yuri blinked. "Is that good or bad?" He asked, looking from Zane to Allen.

"Depends on who's side you're on," Zane answered, allowing himself to be pulled along by Taylor. Usually he didn't like being pulled. Allen was the only one who really pulled him anywhere and that normally annoyed Zane to no end. Still, he could tell Taylor was bothered by something so he didn't argue.

Yuri looked back at Allen, who just shrugged. He himself could feel something was off with both his brother and Taylor and he didn't want to bother them by annoying Zane even more. Even Allen knew when to act mature.

"Come on, Yuri, we don't want to be left behind." Allen said. He seemed to struggle to keep a cheerful tone as he climbed onto the cheetah's back. He had a lot to think about and everything was starting to overwhelm him again.

Yuri sensed this, Allen's confusion making him almost dizzy as he followed after the older teens. He also felt weird and his whiskers quivered as if anticipating something.

Crux lifted his head at Lunar's call, growling in annoyance. "Why don't you ask your precious mate?" he growled. The scent of humans was frustrating him in ways he never thought possible and he dug his claws into the earth trying to calm his agitation. It helped little. His tail still thrashed violently and his ears were pulled back to the point that they felt strained. He snorted in annoyance and turned his head from her.
