She looked up at Zane, bit did not feel relaxed. Her shoulders were still stiff and her muscles tight. Her ears were straining to hear the faintest sound against the earth. She tried to force herself to relax, but she couldn't. She looked to her left, the sound of rushing water filling her ears. She walked toward the sound and found that a crystal clear pond was flowing down into a stream from a waterfall on higher land. She pointed it out to Zane.

Shadow watched the girl from the shadows, noticing the way she glanced around and how her shoulders were hunched. She is observative. He thought and decided he rather liked the girl. He looked at Khaos and Ame. "They cannot hear you talk." He agreed. "But, they can still hear your animal sounds." He whispered to them.

Ame nodded, "we know." she whispered, "that girl, the small blonde one, she's mine." Ame growled softly. Khaos nodded.

"so whos going to talk to them first?" Khaos asked.

Shadow shouldered his way past the Animals. "I will." He said and hesitantly stepped out of theh fronds. The brown-haired girl stopped in her tracks and took in the mas.s of the shadowy wolf. Fear filled her eyes, but also...curiosity. She looked him right in the eye before examining his wings and his body.

Taylor's breath caught in her throat as an enomous wolf walked out of the bushes like a shadow. She watched as it looked at her with wise, silver eyes. She watched as his wings ruffled in the light wind and the blue highlights in his fur showed vibrantly as a small patch of sunlight hit his head. "What are you?" She asked.

Shadow listened to her question and put his head down. A low growl almost like a laugh rumbling in his throat.

Taylor took a step forward, almost instinctively knowing what to do. She reached out for the wolf and put her hand on his warm, dark fur. An icy chill went up her spine as his senses and thoughts flooded hers and she gasped from the shock. I am Shadow. A voice said in her mind and she watched as the wolf stood up. "I will not hurt you." He said out loud.

Luke watched taylor with wide eyes, he watched it curiously, it seemed to be talking to Taylor, but he heard not a sound.

Deomi tucked one stand of hair behind her ear and chewed her lip nervously. The silver eyes of the wolf didnt match the glowing aqua eyes from the shadows she saw earlier. She looked back where she had seen the eyes, and walked into the forest, "he-hello?" she asked quietly. She blinked and suddenly the eyes were back, but now they were joined by a mas.sive body, the body of a tigeress, and two tails. The tigress watched her intelligently, and Deomi reached forward to touch her, she couldnt resist. As soon as her fingertips touched the tigers silky fur, she felt a jolt and gasped in shock.

I am Ame, A gentle voice in her head purred, "and I am your spirit aminal. At least, thats what we call outselves." she purred in amusement.

Zane had taken a step towards the stream when he heard rustling behind him and he spun around instantly freezing at what he saw. Taylor had her hand on some sort of wolf, but this one had wings. He took a small step forward.

"Taylor!" he hissed quietly. What was she thinking getting close to that thing?! That thing looked like it would eat her whole. 

Allen had managed to catch up to everyone and was now standing a little ways away from everything, not exactly able to comprehend it. In situations like this, avoiding detection was exactly what Zane would want him to do.

Meanwhile, both Yuri and Vic were getting ready to approach their own partners. Vic was slithering silently through the trees until he was right over Zane, and Yuri was creeping up behind Allen, ready to pounce. They both had expressions that showed they were anticipating revealing themselves. 

Are there more of you? Taylor asked Shadow. "Yes." He said to her. "We are the Spirit Animals. Home to this island. You shall seen soon enough. Once all of you have bonded, we shall head back to camp." He told her.

Sasori let Shadow bond with the girl before stepping out into the clearing to see the boy. She padded up to him and he let out a yelp. She purred with amusement. Please tell your kin to allow the bond to form. She said to Taylor. Taylor turned around. "Maks, touch her head." She said encouragingly. "Trust me, it's way cool." She said.

((i don't want to go too far ahead without Zombie.))

Taylor turned around. "Don't worry Zane. Shadow's nice." She said to him. She thought about how crazy she must look right now, being face to face with a gigantic out-of-this world wolf. The blue markings on his fur glowed as she rubbed her hand down the side of his flank.

Zane blinked. For the first time in his life he was completely confused. She had called that fantasy-hybrid "Shadow" and "Nice". "Shadow" he could understand but calling him "nice" was suicidal. He opened his mouth to respond but at that exact moment Vic decided to drop down on top of him and coil around him. Zane groaned as he felt like he was being crushed and looked up at his attacker. A giant snake was looking down with and... ammused? ex
pression.

Allen dashed forward to help his brother but a white cheetah blocked his path.

Yuri looked back at Vic. "Don't hurt him, crazy!" he said, annoyed at Vic's reckless behavior. He turned back to Allen, purring and giving him a warm, playful look. 

((I JUST LOST A HUGE POST! >:O the gist of it was, Luke went looking for Deomi, and saw her petting Ame, then Khaos came over, Deomi asked Luke to touch him, but Luke stared at her like she was crazy, then Khaos got impatient and padded up to luke and touched Luke, backwards, but now they are talking and Luke thinks hes lost his mind XD))

Deomi rode back to where Taylor and the others were on Ame's back, "Hey guys! this is Ame." she said with a smile. Luke followed her nervously, Khaos faithfully at his side. he folded his arms and glanced around skeptically.

Shadow snorted with disapproval at Vic's appearance. "We don't want to scare the poor things off." He said to him and looked back at Taylor. "These two will just need to be bonded and we can go. Climb up on my back." Taylor watched as Shadow bent down and extended his wings, exposing his black. She grabbed onto the dark fur and pulled herself up. He rose and folded his wings to his side and they watched.

Maksis shot Taylor a look and thrust his hand down on Sasori's head. She flinched as they made contact and gave a warning growl, but as the connection was made, she relaxed. I am Sasori, your Spirit Animal. She said to him in a kind tone.

Vic hissed in annoyance. Everyone was always criticizing his idea of fun. Nevertheless, he released Zane, who fell to the ground, gasping, and slithered around to be face to face with him. 

Allen tried to back away from the strange cheetah but Yuri, determined not to let him get away, padded over to him and thrusted his head against Allen's chest. Allen gasped and pressed his hand against Yuri's head, causing them both to flinch. Yuri stepped away and looked up at Allen. I am Yuri, your Spirit Animal as we call ourselves. He said, his voice playful. 

Zane recovered and shot Vic a glare. He pulled his fist back, ready to punch the daylights out of the snake but paused and looked over at Allen, who was now stroking the strange cheetah's head affectionately. Curiously, Zane reached out his hand to touch Vic's head. His common sense screamed at him to do otherwise but he ignored it for once and pressed his palm against Vic's head. The connection was made and Zane gasped quietly, pulling his hand away. Vic flicked his tongue. Sorry about before. He hissed. My name is Vic, your Spirit Animal. Zane gave him a look as if he was insane.
