((read this tho. and then Shadow and Sasori went to bed. Zane and Taylor went into the forest together. Allen, Maksis, and Yuri stayed at camp to talk.

This island was once all ours. Our land. We were the descendants of generations of animals that were created from the dreams and imaginations of the human world. We are a peaceful race and our numbers were once plentiful until they came. Soon, as time went on, man's mind became sick and twisted. More of the earth was being destroyed, ruining dreams and many hopes. Thus the mutant race was born. We have no name for them now. No name for their kind, but they came and tried to conquer our land. Our island was sealed off from the world and now new Spirit Animals cannot come into being. The mutants live off of the evil in the world and are getting stronger in the pas.sing years. Our island was once sealed off from the rest of the world, a paradise for dreams. That changed when they came. Now, humans sometimes come. The only problem is, the mutant's post guards to capture all humans who land here. Most are children like yourselves. We do not know why this has happened, but no adult being can exist on this island. Only our species, the mutants, and the young may move freely. What we came to learn is that our kind can bond with humans and make them and ourselves twice as strong. The mutants do not have that power, for darkness forbids it. We had recently removed some of the guards along the beach, which left gaps open in their defenses. We were able to find you and protect you from them. We are the last of the Spirit Animals now, but we fight nobly. We need you to help us win our war with the mutants. I know it is not fair, but until they are all dead, you cannot leave the island. He finished and looked around the circle.))

Ame lay down with a contented sigh, "you should both get some rest." she purred, "you look tired." Deomi lay down beside the tiger and rested her head on Ame's side.

Khaos glanced at Luke, "why do you seem to hate me?" he asked, "Its not like I ever did anything to you." he shrugged. Luke snorted and sat down with his back against a tree. He closed his eyes and Khaos laughed, laying down near his fet like a faithful dog.

Dagger inhaled through his nose, "humans." he growled, "They were here I can smell it." ((idk if you posted anything as Lunar yet XD))

Lunar did not bother to smell. She could feel their presence on their island. "I fear we are too late." She hissed. "They have already bonded with the Spirits." She said the word with disgust. "Come Dagger. We must find them and dispose of them before the Spirits begin to train them in their ways." She walked down the beach, the setting sun casting the water an eerie shade of orange. The human scent tingled in her extra-sensitive nose.

"You forget the rituals?" She sneered at him. "It's not like we can ever leave this island. Bound by the minds of men, but also created. Here, we can make more warriors. Do you not remeber how we were created? Molded from darkness and breathed into life with hatred. Making more warriors will take some hate from the outside world and make us a little weaker, but eventually, the hate will grow back." She explained to him

Zane stared at the waterfall and smiled. "It's amazing what kinds of things you can find when you leave the destructive reach of humans." He sat down on a rock a little ways from the waterfall and looked down at the water, his reflection staring back at him. His face was covered with patches of dirt and his hair was messy. "I need a shower," he said calmly, running his fingers through his hair in hope of fixing it even a little.

Yuri snorted and laughed slightly. "It takes a special sort of personality to suffer Vic," he answered, "and I don't think Zane has it."

Allen nodded in agreement and scratched at Yuri's ear absentmindedly. The cheetah's fur felt soft and Allen enjoyed the feeling of running his fingers through it.

Crux rolled over in his sleep. Feeling something jabbing into his side, he woke up and rolled over again, growling in annoyance. He looked around and spotted Lunar and Dagger. He stood up and trotted over to them on four paws. "What's with that terrible human stink?" He demanded, crinkling his nose in disgust. He was surprised the smell hadn't woken him up long before.  

Taylor laughed. "It's not as good as a shower, but..." She said and pulled off her shoes before diving head first into the crystal blue water. Her head went under and she opened her eyes, surprised she could see so well. The water did not irritate her eyes, as it had done back in the real world. She saw strange sea creatures floating around lazily in the under-water currents. Seemingly-invisible from the surface plant life exploded before her eyes in a beautiful array of colors. She pushed up from the water and burst to the surface again. It had begun to get dark out. The last rays of the sun dissappeared over the horizon. she looked down and her eyes widened as she watched the colors of the plants turn from faded hues to neons. The forest around them was illuminated in a green glow. "This is pretty amazing." She said in wonder, more to herself than to Zane. "Come on in. It's actually very warm." She said and it was.

Lunar resisted the urge to clock Crux in the head. "While you were sleeping." She said with disgust. "The Spirits captured the Humans and are probably training them right now." She said angrily, more mad at herself than at the others.

Dagger grinned, "I will get Khaos. And his human." saliva dripped from his mouth as he thought of the taste of warm flesh. ((XD told you! SnowehFAIL))

Deomi laughed, "hey Taylor! room for one more?" she asked, giving Ame a final pat before standing up and stretching her muscles. She undid her ponytail from its tight bun and it cascaded around her shoulders in golden waves. She brushed the dirt off of her pale denim jeans. The Flare bottoms had gotten some mud on them, maybe when she was in the water, she could wash her clothes. After all, she did have her bikini underneather her Mudd brand jeans((my favorite))and her Hollister tee.

((I'm trying to get Deomi's vibe across, shes a relaxed, mellow surfer type girl. she may have money, but shes not a snob.))

Zane looked around at the plants before he realized what Taylor had said. "Umm..." he said, but bit back anything else he was going to say. He hesitantly pulled off his jacket and shoes and slid into the water. She's right! He thought and sighed slightly at the warmth of the water. He was careful to hold onto the bank and keep his feet pressed against something. He didn't exactly want to admit to Taylor that he could barely swim.

Crux growled and spat on the ground. "Pathetic. What good will humans do them? We should put the sorry things out of their misery." He stood up on his hind paws. His bones creaked and cracked as they shifted to give him stability. When his bones had completely shifted, he scratched at his cheek with his claw and looked at Lunar with a lazy ex
pression.
