Jay frowned. He wanted Shadow not to look so suspicious so she wouldnt be questioned by other wolves. After the crowd left howling and laughing Jay walked up to Shadow and sat down with her. "You should try to make new friends or theyll think your hiding something." he said

"Dude all my friends back there were the whole new generation. They dont even care about that story that much anymore." Jay said with a hint of sadness in his voice. "Look tomorrow me and my other buds are going to sneak out of the territory and look around places we've never been. Maybe even where BloodPacks territory once was!" he said trying to scar her. Shadow sighed and said,"Fine,I'll go." She then said to Jay,"When my mom wasn't dead yet she used to tell me stories about that pack and how I was a decendent of the alpha who started it." She stood up and then shrugged. "She would always say that to me.",she added.

"Yup hope it will. Cant wait to see my friends shriek whenever I scare them!" Jay said with a joking tone. They then came upon the den nd he let Shadow go in before him poilitly. He then layed down tiredly and fell asleep by Shadows side since it was cold out.

Mid night finally came and Jay woke Shadow up and walked to the middle of the territory where all his friends were waiting" Shadow this is Jewel, Kenzi, Jacob, and Weasel. Guys this is Shadow." he said presenting her as if she were a prize

Shadow took a few steps forward and smiled as best she could,but besides that she didn't seem to do anything else,but sit down and resume her normal frown.

When they finally got there everything looked destroyed and there was rubble everywhere. "Ok guys stick together before we get lost. Dont want the Howling Mist to take you away huh Jacob?" he joked. Jacob was the scardy cat amongst them all so he was terrified of being here. "W-why cant we just g-go ba-back?" he whimpered. Jay then climbed up a stone and made a deep and mystical howl that played through the air. Jacob then cried out and lay on the floor whimpering. "Ha! Jacob you big wuss!" Weaswl laughed

Jay smiled as she did soand sided her as they alked deeper into the territory. Jacob stood back up "Me? Psh I-Im not scared.." he whimpered as he ran up to catch his group of friends. The air became heavy and the fog grew whiter and whiter. "Uh Jay where are we going?" Jewel asked. "Yea I cant see anything now!" Kenzi exclaimed. Jay heard a faint mournful howl and it sent chills down his spine. "Uh to be honest I cant see you guys.." Jay said as he tried to sniff the air looking for his friends but the air was to foggy. Weasel let out a loud yelp "Ow something scratched me!" he yelled.

Shadow had accidently bumped into Jay and then pressed to his side. "Follow the sound of my voice.",she said and added,"Here." She repeated here over and over for the other wolves. She hoped it would work and said,"This is the only downside to fog." Then she continued to repeat here over and over.

They finally reached a high spot where the fog started to fade away. "Thanks Shadow." Jay said happily. Jay knew she was doing a good job mingiling with his friends. He looked down at the scene where the old wolf tribe had once been. Everything was ruined for them it was actually pretty sad for him
