Shadow looked around and said,"I just saw the shadow of another wolf." She continued to look around then count the group. "Everyone's up here. Who's down there?"

Jay sniffed the ground to sense any other wolf or wolves. He then heard a haunting howl play through the wind. "Not funny Weasel!" Jay shouted up at him. "I didnt do anything!" Weasel shouted back. Jay then felt a sharp pain on the side of his body and saw claw marks and blood. "Maybe we should go.." Jay said with right in his voice
Shadow heard something like a voice flow through the wind to her. She looked around and then jumped down to Jay. Walking away she said,"I heard someone or something calling for me." "I can't stop walking.",she added,worry clear in her voice.

Jay looked around franticly. He then pulled Shadow back and ran out of the territory with all his friends. When they got out it almost seemed as if his cut had gotten bigger and it started to bleed more. "W-we need to go ba-back to the territory!" Jay shouted through clenched teeth. Weasel and Jewel then supported him at his side as he limped back to the territory
When they finally got there Jay,s father saw them walk in and rushed to Jays side. "What happened? Where were you all night?! I was worried sick!" he said worringly as he called over a medicine wolf. The wolf then quickly tended to his wound
Shadow lost the urge to turn around when they entered the territory and felt like it was her falt that Jay got hurt. She flattened her ears to her head,lowered her head and began to walk away.

Jay turned his head and saw Shadow walking away with her ears down. He then jumped away from the healer and ran to her side "Hey! Where are you going?" he called out to her as he stood in front of Shadow
