"Hey, some of those awful humans happened to raise me," Niro said, and Jax instantly grabbed his shoulder as he saw him move forward. Niro glanced back before taking a breath. "Just as there are bad mutants, there are good humans. If you put them in a group, you're scum, just like those you're currently insulting."
Jax patted him gently before speaking up. "Look, not everyone is going to agree. Some of us may just have to sit back while the others help out."

"Okay, how about this then? How about we go around and put the humans into two groups? One that we will save and the other one that can go to hell? Unless of course you just want to save all of them and put people that actually care about you in risk." Aurora's temper snapped as her fists clenched and she felt her power sworming inside her ready to burst out. She narrowed her eyes. "Why should we save the humans? What good will it do to this world that will even out what harm it might also cause?" She asked.

"We never said they were gonna give something back. Think, if your cat was falling off a cliff, would you hover next to it and ask for somthing in return for saving it? Saving a life is just that. You're saving a life, why should you get something in return. We've lived with this for years now, we could live with it until they get used to us." Ace said as he pput his arm in front of Alley to stop her from attacking the girl.
"It's like a gamble, you take a risk, but you can't always expect to win. They have gone from trying to kill us, to begging on their hands and knees for us to save them." He said strongly.

Niro threw his hands up, and turned to walk back to his corner. "We're never going to get anywhere with this." He couldn't believe that it was so difficult to decide. He thought of it like saving an endangered species- one that he had branched from. What was the use of having gifts like they had if they weren't going to use them for good? It didn't matter if the humans thought they were evil- letting them die proved it.
"Look, like it or not, some of us have human family," Jax said calmly. "And I don't know if you've ever noticed, but diseases can grow stronger. What happens when it finally breaks our immunity?"

Aurora rolled her eyes. "Yea, I had a human family. My brother and sister were both mutants like me and both of them were killed, but my parents lived because they were human, they didn't even try to stop the death of their own children and acted like we were all strangers when we begged them to help save us. And what will happen when the disease breaks our immunity? What happens then?" Aurora asked feeling her control snap in two. She narrowed her eyes as they turned a pitch black color and her skin turned paler making her all of a sudden look a little scary. Jamila stood there watching. Her jaw nearly dropped as she watched Aurora loose it. "Crap." She said knowing things might get ugly really fast. She shifted into sand and dissapeared into the ground as she went towards Aurora to try and calm the girl down. |

Ryu perked up when things started to get heated with his kin. It didn't take word comprehension to know things were going to get ugly. He frowned. Not good... Deciding it was time to intervene, he took a step in between the two sides. "Look at yourselves!" he said, his soft voice heavy with his accent as he stretched his wings out. "What good will fighting among ourselves do? We are so few already, why create bad feelings? We cannot undo the past."

"See, that's why we fight the damn disease," Niro told Aurora. "Because we break it before it ever advances. Or do you want to sit around and wait to die, hmm?" He rolled his eyes. "Just because your parents were crap doesn't mean that others had to deal with that. My parents were excellent to me, kept me safe. They were taken by this damn sickness."

Aurora growled looking at the boy who had stepped between them. She narrowed her black and and stared at him. "Okay, fine. If we did decide to help the humans what would we do to help them?" She asked ignoring the comment about her family.

Jax shrugged. "Well, there must be something about us that makes us able to withstand it. We could allow them to run tests on us. We could seek out healers to take care of the sick, maybe they can even get rid of it." He sighed and ran his fingers through his hair once more. This meeting was getting on his nerves. "We can do something, can't we?"
Niro returned to his area in the corner, arms crossed, watching Aurora with narrowed eyes. However, they slipped over to the other speakers as well, finally resting on the boy. Finally, someone who was making sense.

((I hate orders though...Then you have to wait for someone to come on that might not be one for a day or something.)) "Tests?" Aurora asked. the word always made her shiver from a memory from her past. Her eyes became a dark black again that soon changed to red as her skin almost became pure white with her blue veins sticking out as screams and whispers went through the park not from the mutants but from the dead. Aurora looked like she was ready float into the air and become one of the dead herself but instead she held tighter onto the cat who was now purring for some odd reason. |

Niro instantly changed to his shadow form, a small fox coming out of his shoulder. If there was going to be a fight, he was going to be safe. Reaching up to pet the small creature, he looked to Jax, emerald eyes white. Jax was already ahead of him, skin changing into scales, dragon wings unfolding. He wouldn't go full out; this was just a warning not to mess with these mutants. The dragons were some of the most feared among the mutant cl*censored*, and they were rare. He didn't show this off for just anyone.

Aurora let out a nasty hiss that didn't sound human. She narrowed her red eyes again as someone whispered in her ear. Don't attack the dragon-boy...Go for his friend. His parents are dead, use it against him. The whisper said. Aurora was about to follow the instruction when she froze. "No..." She whispered to the voice. Using another persons past against them wasn't something she was ever willing to do for she knew how it felt to have the past come back to haunt you. You can't do anything right! The whisper turned into a snarl as it tried to take over.

Ryu bristled, staring at Aurora with a suspicious ex
pression. There was something about this woman that chilled his body to the core. Even Yuki, who'd been asleep in his coat all this time, seemed to shift and shudder from the strange feeling. He narrowed his eyes, glaring at her, then at the two men who had transformed. "Are you all fox spirit masters?!" he demanded, inwardly cringing at how strange his insult sounded in English. They probably wouldn't even understand the meaning of it. "Why do you three still try to fight?" he growled, flapping his wings restlessly, "I said no good will come of it!"

"ENOUGH!" Alley screamed. She had alternated the sound of her voice so it was loud enough to shake the stage, like a minor earthquake had struck it. "If we keep this up, we're all gonna be dead. What use are our lives then?" She hissed, "If you want to help the humans, stay here. If you don't, then leave because you're just wasting our time."
