Hermione couldn't help but to blush. It was true. Then, Sirius' lips connected with hers. She knew she had to pull back, go back to her dorm, pretend it never happened. But... She couldn't. Hermione then kissed him back. And, as if someone shocked her, she pulled back. "Sirius.... I... I have to go back..."

((Omg, poor Sirius now.)) Sirius' eyes clouded with confusion before he nodded numbly, blushing. He jumped up quicker than any normal human could, reaching over and picking up Crookshanks. "Let's go." He said automatically, avoiding her eyes. |

Hermione blushed as well as she lifted herself off of the floor. As Sirius grabbed her cat, she felt awkward. Where was she going to put her hands? Hermione decided to stuff them in her pockets. The girl noticed how Sirius was avoiding eye contact. "Sirius... I.. I just.. You're my teacher now!" Hermione said, trying to explain. But, instead, she was just sounding like a blubbering idiot. |

"I wasn't planning on telling anyone anyways, Sirius," Hermione said with a small laugh. She held Crookshanks tightly in her arms. He wasn't going to get away a third time. Hermione then said goodnight to Sirius and entered the common room. And there, Harry and Ron were waiting.
"Uh... Hey guys," Hermione said nervously. Oh *censored*! Sirius still has the Mauralder's Map! She thought angrily to herself. |

"Well well, Hermione sneaking out at night?" Harry said, eyeing his friend curiously. "What were you doing out there?"
"I was just looking for Crookshanks," Hermione said defensively. Well, that's why she was out there for.
"Did I hear Sirius' voice?" He inquired, raising an eye at the girl.
"Yes, he just so happened to find Crookshanks and bring him to me." Hermione said this as if it were nothing.
"You're lying." Ron spit at her, his face red with anger.
"Ronald, seriously." Hermione glared at her friend. "I'm going to bed." With this, Hermione turned her back on her two best friends and walked up to her dorm. She climbed into bed and laid there. She knew that she wouldn't be sleeping a wink tonight, but, she could at least try. Anything was better than being confronted by Harry and Ron. |
