Hermione nearly choked on her juice. HAH. Harry and her? What a laugh! She'd rather be with... Well, she'd rather be with Neville. At least he was sweet. Though, Hermione couldn't keep her cheeks from flushing red. Curse her anatomy.
Harry said nothing, he just glared back at Draco. Call his name? Not on his death bed...
Ron, on the other hand, was just as red as Hermione. Harry and her? He thought sheepishly. Why him and not me? I'm just as good as friends with her... Even better! But, I'm not jealous, am I? No, no I am not.... Maybe? |

"Oh hey!" Ron exclaimed, holding his schedule in his hand, smudging parts of it with raspberry jelly. "Whoops...."
"Guess what, Harry?" Hermione then said, taking out her own, clean, already color coded schedule. "We have first period with Sirius!" A pause. "Unfortunately, we have it with Draco and the rest of the Slytherins."
"That's what I was trying to say..." Ron pounted, attempting to wipe the jelly off of his schedule. Only to find he just smeared it everywhere. "Oh well.. I don't need it when I have Hermione!"
Hermione couldn't help but smile at Ron, though she felt like throwing daggers at him instead. She was his friend, it's not like she could ignore or refuse him. "Well, I want to get there early... Get a good seat in the front!"
"Hermione, you have gotten the same seat for 5 years, I don't think anyone's going to steal it." Harry said, obviously annoyed.
"Well, if you don't want to come, I guess I'll just have to go by myself." With this, Hermione picked up her stuff, and left the Great Hall. It wasn't a moment later that the two others boys got up and followed her out into the hallway.

Sirius walked towards his new classroom, yawning. He still wasn't used to waking up so early. He turned a corner, finding Draco talking with a few of his friends. He growled, taking the boy by his ear. "I believe you have my class, Malfoy." "Ahh, let me go! My father will hear about this!" "Tell him it's from Sirius with love." He replied, pushing him into the classroom. He bounded up to the front, plopping himself down on his desk. |

Hermione stopped walking as soon as she heard the line "My father will hear about this." Great, so Draco was already in class. Awesome. She sighed heavily then kept walking down the hallway, Ron on her right, and Harry to her left.
The three entered the class silently, though Hermione couldn't help but throw a smug little smirk towards Draco. This class would be heaven for them... Hell for him. Hermione then took her normal seat in the front, Ron and Harry sitting next to her, like usual.
"I can't wait for class to start!" Hermione said giddily. She really, really wanted to learn, and perfect, wordless spells. And, she didn't want to waste a single moment on it either. |

As soon as Sirius asked the question, Hermione's hand shot into the air. A small groan escaped her lips as soon as their new Professor said she couldn't answer. Hermione slowly lowered her hand, keeping it light on the desk, waiting until he asked another question.
There was silence in the classroom for a moment when, suddenly, Neville raised his hand. "Y... You're Sirius Black..."
Well, no duh, Neville. Hermione thought crossly.

Neville lowered his hand and slumped back into his seat. His face was bright red. He was still afraid of Sirius, even after his little innocent 'speech'. What could he say? It was in his nature...
"Yeah," Hermione said grumpily. "When are we going to start?" Boy, wasn't she in a bad mood this morning? Yes, yes she was. She hadn't even smiled at Sirius' Malfoy comment, whereas Ron and Harry were laughing their a.sses off. |

Hermione couldn't help but burst out laughing, as the rest of the class did. Ron was even risky enough to stand up and yell, "OH HE TOLD YOU, DRACO!"
It was a bit much. The whole class went silent and stared at Ron, who turned bright red instantly.
"It's okay, Ron," Hermione said, patting his back as he sat back down. "Just a little too much..."
Hermione's words didn't help Ron feel better. He didn't even know what caused that outburst. Maybe it was Draco's Harry-Hermione comment from last night... |

Sirius laughed at everyone's faces. "Well, if we're passed the questions..." Sirius motioned forward, the textbooks floating off his desk, one landing in front of it student and flipping itself open. "Wordless spells. Can anyone, that isn't Hermione, tell me what they are without stating the obvious?"

Once again, Hermione's hand shot into the air. And, once again, she put it down with a grumble. Sirius was stealing her thunder. She turned to whisper the answer to Ron, but then felt as if she were cheating. Hermione drew back and chewed on her bottom lip, waiting for someone to answer.
"Wordless spells are just the same as regular spells, Professor Mutt. You just don't need a wand, or voice, to cast them." An unexpected voice called out. Draco, naturally. |

Sirius growled, sounding more like a dog than a human. "It is to my attention that you had your tongue glued to the roof of your mouth yesterday, blondie." He said, snapping his fingers and wordlessly preforming the Langlock spell. "And that's how you preform a silent spell. And Hermione, yes, I know you're mad at me. Sorry, you can answer the next question." |

Ron let out another roar of laughter. He just loved seeing Draco tortured by a teacher for once. Well, besides the ferret incident with Moody two years ago.
Hermione herself couldn't help but laugh as Draco struggled with the spell. He wasn't smart enough to know how to undo it, and Hermione wasn't going to help him. It didn't take long for Draco to leave the classroom; he was going to the Hospital Wing.
"Thank you, Professor." Hermione said, still slightly upset. "What is the question?" |

((Omg the Ferret incident made me cry xD)) "How does one go about preforming a wordless spell?" Sirius asked her, snapping his fingers to release Draco before he could leave the room. "Sit, boy." He said, and unknown force pushing Draco into a chair that was behiind him. The chair steered itself to where Draco was sitting before he stood. |

"Well, from what I've read," Hermione started, her eyes following Draco. Though, she did not skip a beat in her wording. "Wordless spells are cast by concentrating very hard on both the spell and the subject it is being cast upon." A pause. "And some spells require a hand motion to go along with them, though those are very few."
