Harry, who was thouroughly enjoying showing off, raised the book again. He wore a smile a Slytherin couldn't even smirk. With a quick glance at Malfoy, he flung the book through the air, with his mind, and nearly hit the boy. Instead, the heavy book crashed into the wall behind him. "Whoops," Harry chuckled, looking innocent enough.
Hermione, on the other hand, was still having troubles. She couldn't raise a book off her desk... Wingardium Leviosa was one of the easiest spells in the book! And now, she couldn't do it. "Hmph." She muttered, leaning back in her seat. She was defeated... For now. |

Ron, on the other hand, couldn't stop laughing. "Look at ol' weasel face! He nearly peed himself!"
"Really, Ronald?" Hermione said under her breath. He was really getting on her nerves lately. Maybe it was that non-stop laugh she found annoying. Who knows? He's just... Ron. |

Harry sighed and then shrugged. He had it coming. Any other teacher would have given him detention, so he was glad Sirius wasn't that strict. "I'd say sorry, Draco, but I'm not."
"Harry, stop pushing it." Hermione cut in, giving her friend a knowing look. She earned her points for Gryffindor, and she didn't want Harry squandering them away on stupid things like Draco.

Hermione smiled and picked up all of her stuff. The class may not have homework, but she would be working on wordless spells all night if she had to. "Thanks, Sirius!" She called over her shoulder as she rushed to catch up with Harry and Ron.

Hermione then took her seat in the front of the class, like usual. This time, Harry and Ron sat a row behind her. She was used to it. No one but her and a few Slytherins liked sitting up front in Snape's class. |
