Harry couldn't help but laugh as he heard Sirius' laugh booming throughout the Great Hall. He was so... Happy to be here, it made Harry smile just to think about it. |

Severus growled, all of the forks in the Hall suddenly airborn. They moved, facing Sirius. Then, they flew at him. Sirius didn't even budge, yawning theatrically as they all seemed to hit an invisible force inches away from his face. They all reversed their course, clattering back onto the tables. "How childish of you, Snivelly." |

Hermione had just raised her fork to her mouth when it shot out of her hand. Her eyes grew wide as she noticed all the forks in the room headed straight for.... Sirius. But, he yawned and easily deflected them all, impressing Hermione. A fork flew back to her table. Disgusted, she picked it up and frowned. "Uhg, this fork smells like a troll has been using it." |

Fred picked the fork from her fingers, wiping it clean on a napkin before returning it. "Happy?" McGonagall shot dagger at them, her gaze enough to make roses wilt. But both Sirius and Severus were unfazed. "I will have both of your heads if you don't stop!" She hissed, "I'm going to kill him, and I'm serious." "You can't be serious, I'm Sirius." |

"Crookshanks!" Hermione whispered feircely down the hallway. It was the first time that she had ever been in the halls after dark, without Harry and Ron of course. She held the Mauralder's Map in her hand. She couldn't see Crookshanks name though, as he wasn't a person. "Crookshanks!" |

Sirius found himself wandering the halls, stopping when he heard someone whisper "Crookshanks!" That sounded like Hermione. He followed the noise silently, shifting into a dog as he walked.

Hermione then heard footsteps. She looked at the map and noticed 'Sirius', walking towards her. "Mischief managed," She said quickly, putting the tip of her wand on the map. The girl then turned around and nearly screamed. She hadn't expected him to be in Animigus form.
Hermione then gripped her chest, breathing heavily. "Sirius, you scared me..." She panted out, trying to catch her breath. |

Sirius slapped a hand over his mouth to stop himself from laughing at the look that overcame her face. When he composed himself, he spoke. "Of course not, Hermione." He gently peeled the map away from her hands. He opened it, muttering, "I solemnly swear that I am up to no good." He eyes widened as he filled with glee. "I haven't seen this in ages..." He stroked the parchment lovingly. "Messieurs Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs...." He read.

Hermione watched as Sirius' face filled with laughs at her ex
pression. Detention was no laughing matter...!! Then, he reached for the map, which Hermione didn't want to give up so easily. The way he looked at it made Hermione smile.
"Feel like you're connecting with old friends, Sirius?" Hermione asked him in a small voice, and even a little smile. She was thinking of James, Lupin and that little rat, pun intended, Wormtail. |
