Paradise rolled her eyes, and put the next rolled up paper to the side of her desk. She got this all the time, but she usually only got giggles in return. Not someone standing up for her. She couldn't help but smile at Damons help, but she tried to not show it as she kept writing.
If he would only stop being so nice, it would be easier for her to move on from yesterday.

Paradise took a deep sigh, while covering her face with her hands. If Ian didn't stop now, she might explode.
"Please. Stop..."
She mumbled, glaring at Ian before - trying - to go back to work.

"Stop." Damon growled, glaring at Ian. "What, you like her or something?" Ian asked, teasing. The smile was wiped off his face as Damon stood. "You know what? Yeah, I do like her. A lot. And you'd like her too, if you stopped to actually talk to her." He turned to the rest of the people who were laughing, his eyes landing on Paradise. "She's funny and smarter than most of you. If you guys would only see her like I so." He said before walking out of the classroom. |

That wasn't expected. Or, knowing Damon, it should have been. Blushing at all the attention being put back on her, she did what seemed to be an apologetic smile at everyone, though she didn't know why. She was probably just going crazy with all the pairs of eyes looking back at her.
For the first time, she left the classroom also. First time 'ditching class'. Trying to ignore the stares as she left the room and saw Damon close by.
"Damon?" She asked, softly to get his attention as she took a couple steps towards him.

After hesitation, Paradise took a couple steps closer. Staring at his back all she wanted now while she said,
"Thanks."
She didn't know why she was coming out here to say so, because she knew she still wasn't able to talk to him. But, she lost common sense the second she met him. Why not lose it some more?

"For... helping me in there. Saying what you said could really ruin how your known around here, and you lied anyway. It was nice."
She refused to believe he actually liked her. It was impossible.

Paradise nodded her head, understandingly.
"Well, yeah you told me that. But..."
She sighed, and looked down at the ground, not really knowing how to get to the point of what he said in there.
"I told you, I can't talk to you Damon. As in, I would most likely make my parents so mad they would kick me out. And you really think you'd like some dork that has parents like that? That gets treated the way you saw just now?"
When did she become so bold?

She started with one eyebrow higher then the other, with his first comment.
