At first, Paradise stilled, not even kissing him back. FComing to her senses, she finally did kiss him back though after a second.
It was then that she realized how bad her chest was burning. How long had she been holding her breath?
She finally took a breath - through her nose.

Paradise was reluctant to come back to reality when he pulled his lips away. She did a soft laugh, before saying,
"I...Uh... Don't want to be late..."
And with that she started walking ahead of him to the elevator. Her hands were shaking.
You can't blame her. For her first kiss, she did pretty good.
