As Iceclaw does his morning border sweep, he notices the scent of 2 distinct warriors, Nightshade and Flashstorm "I've told those two not to do anything that might anger their clans... stepping over their borders can be serious..." Iceclaw wondered this to himself as he wondered why the two keep spending so much time together... "Oh... they better not be in love or anything..." |

Nightshade curled her tail over Flashstorm's, purring softly. The stars were especially bright that night, lighting up the usually dark sky with a faint white glow. Her mother had once told her that the stars were the spirits of old warriors who were worthy enough to gain a rank in the stars, were they would be able to rest and hunt in peace for all of eternity. She didn't want to die, but she also couldn't wait to be somewhere that was peaceful forever.
She hadn't intended to start anything with Flashstorm. He was a warrior of the opposite side, and mind you, she actually quite hated him for a while. He was a foolish young tom as an apprentice, always stumbling onto Windclan's border. She used to chase him out and make sure that he stayed out, but now, she welcomed him. They had to stay in secrecy beneath bushes or something similar, but Nightshade didn't mind. She just liked being with him.
"Flashstorm..." she murmured, a hint of worry in her voice. Her hair was standing up slightly, showing that she was nervous. "I think... I think someone is watching us," she whispered anxiously, nudging the tom with her nose.

Iceclaw followed the two warriors scents until he heard a shuffling of wind over fur beneath some bushes in front of him, He peered through some leaves and noticed the easily recognisable white fur which reflected light onto the fur of another smaller black cat. He knew it was Nightshade and Flashstorm straight away but decided not to intrude on them just yet as they might not be doing what he thought they might be. But as he heard the soft voice of Nightshade noticing his presence he regained his anger of what they were doing. Iceclaw jumped through the bushes and hissed at the two warriors, "What are you two doing?! Do you know the trouble you can get into if your clans find out what you two are up to?!" He saw the two cats jump back startled at his sudden outrage and stood still motionless, staring at Iceclaw as he looked at the both of them in disgust and fled back to his Clan Camp, wishing that none of this was happening. |

Nightshade raised her head wearily as Flashstorm hissed. She turned her head to look at Iceclaw, her eyes narrowed. "Yeah!" she meowed. "It's not like we're hurting anything. We're just... friends, right Flashstorm?" She shot her mate a pointed look, her eyes telling him to just play along. If the warrior believed that they were just friends, perhaps no one would get in trouble.
{Hojak was actually banned. o-o How, I don't know. I just don't know what we're gonna do now. ^^;} |
