(Awesome!) Shadow turned over again and this time she turned right into the river. In a big splash she hit the water. She poped her head out of the water in surprise and climbed out. She shook off her fur and then sat down and noticed Markin. Fisher laughed when he saw her fall into the water then sat beside Markin and waited to see if he would speak.
I\'m extremely sorry for my absence. I\'ve been very busy and was recently attacked by 3 dogs and am currently recovering.

Hearing the splash Ember swam into the water to retrieve her wet beta she then reached them and climbed onto the bank by Shadow and shook out her fur, she then noticed Markin and Fisher. "oh hello boys" she said not sure as to how she was suppose to handle the situation.
Markin laughed at Shadow seeing her fall in, but then fixed his gaze on Ember "good morning" he said to the she wolves. |

Shadow frowned and said,"Won't sleep there again." She shook her head of the thought and smiled,"Hello." She bowed to Markin and Fisher.
Fisher smiled at Ember,but then put his eyes back on both of them. "Good morning."

Ember gave a quick glace at Shadow "I woud hope not" she said trying to keep cool but the hint of challenge lined her voice before she turned back to the other wolves "well I suppose we should be getting back however it was nice to see you two again" she said smiling at them and giving one more quick glance to Fisher and turning to leave with Shadow.

Shadow straighten up and said,"I know I will see you all in a couple of days when the packs join." She turned and followed Ember thinking,'Too bad I won't be able to be with Markin,but atleast the packs will join.'
Fisher smirked and then said to Markin,"I almost forgot the packs were joining so soon."

Markin frowned a bit but quickly smiled at the wolves as they left feeling a prick of sorrow and guilt for wanting to be with Shadow. He then turned and looked at Fisher as they contiunied the patrol "yes so had I" he said still a bit sad. Ember shook her head attempting to get Fisher out of her mind she was alpha she was suppose to set a good example and listen to orders and do the best for her pack they needed the pack to join together alpha and alpha the bond linking them together but she still only saw Fisher as she kept on heading to the pack. |

Shadow could tell that Ember wasn't to happy and said,"Don't worry. We could think of something to were you can be with the one you love."
Fisher nodded and said,"I think Ember would make a nice mate for you,but what is terrible is you can't be with someone you love."

Markin did not look at him but nodded which was a bit out of character for him. Ember looked at her curious but then dropped her head thinking that it would not work "but I am alpha I have a responsibility to uphold." she said still a bit sad.

"If you love that Fisher fellow the packs would still join and I could defend you if they try and banish you.",Shadow said and then added,"I just want you to know that I kind of like that Markin."
Fisher sighed and said,"Is it that bad? If you love someone else you might be the first one to break a pack rule a risk everything to be with them."

Ember looked up and smiled sweetly at Shadow "well thank you, but I don't know and I think that if you like Markin you should go for it... Maybe I will try for Fisher" she said thinking about the thought "but what about the packs how will their be four alphas? Who will be the main alpha couple?" she asked thinking again that it would not work. Markin looked at him "well, maybe wait how did you find out that I did not like Ember?" he asked looking at his beta.

Ember nuzzled her muzzlle into the crook of Shadows neck before looking at her "thank you" she said smiling before jogging back to the pack Markin looked astonished "was it really all that easy?" he asked.

Markin frowned a bit but then chuckled and finished up the patrol, "so do you think that it would work... You know the whole choosing my own mate thing not that Ember is not good but just not for me" he said looking at Fisher again.
Ember reached the pack and looked around not sure as to what to do. |

Markin frowned "ya I guess your right huh" he said putting his head down how could he let his pack down he had a responsibility to up hold.
Ember found a few able wolves for the evening patrol then jogged over to Shadow "would you like to go hunting with me?" she asked sitting down at the mouth of her den.

Shadow nodded and said,"Around this time a herd always passes by and most of the members are good sized." She then added quickly,"If we hurry we can catch them before they leave."
Fisher nodded and said,"The packs would still join together,atleast." He sighed and changed the subject,"How about we go hunt and catch a few good sized elk from that herd that passes by around down."

Ember nodded "sounds good lets get going then I am in the mood for a good run" she said giving her a wolfish grin and then jogging deeper into the forest looking behind her to see if Shadow was keeping up.
Markin nodded "okay lets go then" he said not really sure as to what to about the pack hunting would clear his head a bit. |
