Shadow remained silent and she finally found the small hole in the wall of the cave. She slipped into it and then stood still as she watched the human male get closer.

Shadow took this as her chance to start getting herself to a better hiding place and knew she would have to thank the anthro later. She slipped out of her cave and started off to a thick bunch of trees. She could barely swerve her way through the trees so she knew that this would be a great place to hide. She used her wi gs to help her jump into one of the trees then her wing claws hooked together again and she searched for the human threat.

Vince backed away from the large anthro, he had never been this scared. Chance followed him every step. "Run" was all Chance said/ Vince ran out of the den and too the tribe of hunters, not wanting to talk about the amazing sight.

Shadow heard the human running backtohisg roup and jumped tree branch to tree branch after him. Human hunters couldn't be trusted so she had to know what he looked like so she wouldn't go near him next time. She finally made it to a near by tree and spotted him. She obbserved the human's facial details and thought about how to hide next time so he wouldn't see her again. She then raced back through the trees and to her den before he could notice she had followed.
She saw Chance and said,"I didn't thank you before running off. So thank you for making that human leave my den." She then looked him in the eyes and smiled kindly. Then she looked back towards the entrance of her den and seemed worried.

Shadow was silent for a moment,but then answered,"I just don't like that that human knows were my den is located now." She kept her eyes on the outside of her den and thought about if the human would return. The thought seemed to scare her a bit as she remembered the guns she had seen in the hands of the rest of the humans. "I also wouldn't want him to return with the weapons I have seen humans carry. Now that he knows what is near the human town he might want to destory us.",she added almost silently.

Shadow thought it over and finally answered,"Yeah,that would probably be a better idea then staying at my den. I will probably come back to my den when I feel like it would be safe." She then turned her attention back to Chance and asked,"What is your name by the way? I'm Shadow."

Shadow smirked and then said,"We better get going beforeth ose humans come back." She then went to the back of her cave and grabbed a black silk cover off of the cave wall. She theen hung it over her shoulder and walked out of the cave. "Lead the way.",she said.
