"I think if we're in public, human would be better," Maeve said, eyes sparkling. She took his arm gingerly, a giant smile on her face. A demon and a gentleman? Unheard of! She leaned in close, to whisper a secret in his ear.
"But, if you want my honest opinion, I like your demon side much, much better."

Avven nodded and smiled. "Really?" he said, it was odd to be out with a vampire, gahh, he knew he was going to get into some trouble. Just, like his father... Avven was the oppisite though, he wasn't a big fan of vampired like his father. He looked at her and looked at his other hand. He reached into his pocket and pulled his hand back out. It was closed with a small shining marble in it. He opened it and showed it too her. "I..I have a blood stone." he said. "They said it was rare, but, I don't beleive them.."
A large banging sound came from a tight alley way. He let out a soft growl and looked into it. "What was that?"

Maeve's eyes widened at the sight of the stone. A blood stone? Really? It was rumored that they were made from the drops of blood that hit the dirt when Christ was crucified. That, of course, was just a legend. These were stones, just like any other. But, they were indeed rare. She reached out to touch it, but immediately pulled back when she heard the loud banging noise.
"I don't know, but we should probably keep walking..." Mae said, not liking the feeling she was getting from the alleyway. It was dark, not even her eyes could see in it. Odd, but she was feeling a presence in there... And it wasn't a good presence either. |

Maeve snorted at the demon's comment. They'll take her... Fat chance! No way in hell she would trust those demons. They were vile creatures who had no business with her type. Well, minus Avven. He was an entirely different type of demon, in her book.
"I'd like to see you try," Mae scoffed to the demon, balling her hands into fists just like Avven had. They could try and take her, but she wouldn't go without a fight. |

Avven looked at Mae and motioned for her to run. "I'll take care of these." he said. He turned too the demons and snarled. The smaller teen came at him and swung his fist at Avve's stomach. Avven jumped back and the other teen cane at him and tired to knock him down.

Mae rolled her eyes at the demon as he motioned for her to run. What, did he think she was some weak human or something? Hardly. She was nothing of the sort. She could hold her own again one of these demons, but he could certainly hold his own against two.
So, instead of running, Maeve stayed put, watching the fight ensue. The smaller one came forwards first, aiming at fist at Avven's stomach, which he easily avoided. Stupid, rookie mistake. He was fighting amateur demons here.
"Just holler if you need help!" Mae called to her demon, chuckling as she did so. |

"Ha, what ever!" he said, trying to avoid her. "If you would like." he was cut off by the smaller male trying too punch his stomach, again. Avven didn't jump back this time. He cought the males fist and pushed him down then threw the other male down. The smaller male stood up and dusted himself off. "Wait till we tell the cops." the smaller smirked.
"Yeah, if you live long enoughf." Avven laughed.
