"Ohh, the cops," Mae sneered at the boy. "We're so scared!" What an idiot! Really? The cops? What? Did the demon think they were measly humans? No. Mae could easily outrun the cops, and Avven was a huge ass demon.
"Besides, the cops would arrest YOU for starting the fight. I AM a witness." Mae laughed at the logic. God, it was true, though. They started the fight. Avven was just protecting her honor. Like, a damsel in distress. How very gentlemanly of him.

He shoved his hands in his pocket and sighed, heh, two fights in one day, wow, since when was he cuting down on fighting? "That's one of te reason why I hate being a demon, others seem to always report things to the humans, don't understad half of my own kind really..." he sighed.

Mae walked besides the man, entwining her arm in his. She leaned her head against the top of his bicep, since she wasn't tall enough to reach his shoulder. She didn't mind the silence between the two. It wasn't awkward, but comfortable. She wouldn't feel this comfortable with silence if she were with one of her own kind.
"Those two didn't seem particularly smart. Are all demons like that?" She finally asked, breaking the small silence. She looked up at Avven, grinning. "Not you, of course. But everyone else?" |

He nodded "Yeah, I'm the only one who accually rembers I am a demon." he snorted. She looked down at her then at the side walk. He was about to put his arm around her but, he was a demon and she was a vampire. Bad news! He still wouldn't care what she was, he was desprate to do so. He looked back too her and faintly smiled, he was dieing too, he kept telling himself no on theinside. Gahh! He finlly calmed his inside self down and decided not too for her confort. "So...." he muttered. Then the urdge too put his arm around her came back. What was rong with himself today! He finally put his arm around her and sighed. Their, he felt beter now, but was she confortable? Hopefully.

Maeve chuckled at the man's comment. Obviously, he was one of the few who remembered he was a demon, as he formerly flaunted off his demon form just not too long ago. The vampire couldn't help but love that dark, dangerous side. Maybe it was the fact their species hated eachother. She was attracted to the forbidden.
Mae's eyes widened as Avven wrapped his arm around her. In public? Well, she had recently put her head on his shoulder... That was practically an invitation, wasn't it? She didn't know. But, in response, Mae snaked her arm around the demon's waist, leaning into him a bit more. For some reason, she liked being there in his arms. She liked it, when she knew she couldn't. |

Avven warmly smiled as she put her arm around his waist. He was about to lift his arm up and retreive it back but his insideself begged him no. Yep. He hadn't known her for long, and he was already dieing for her. What eles would happen tonight? He slightly rubed her arm and stoped. Heheh, her skin was soft and smooth. He looked down at her, no emotion showed onn his face but another faint smile.

Mae got goosebumps as Avven started to rub her arm. The good kind of goosebumps. She shivered at his touch. The good kind of shivers. What in the hell was happening to her? She wasn't supposed to be attracted to demons, nonetheless wrapped in one's arms. Something was seriously wrong with her.
Maybe the whole fight between species was wrong. Damn. If she was attracted to a demon, let her be! Mae turned her head up just in time to see the demon smiling at her. She returned his smile with a soft one of her own. |

Avven couldn't help but smile. He turned his head and closed his eyes. What the hell. That was rude... He flashed his eyes open and let out a small faint snort-ish sigh. Avven wondered where they was going to go. He then turned back too her and asked "So, where are you willing to go?"

Mae rolled her eyes, grinning as she turned away from Avven. Demons... Couldn't live with them, couldn't live without them. Well, she could, but that didn't mean she wanted to.
The vampire cocked her head to the side at the man's wording. Where was she willing to go? Odd way to put it. But, since he asked...
"Oh, I don't care. How about we go somewhere a little more quiet? You know, where a gang of demons won't come and bother us." |

He shrugged "The only place I know of is my cabin." he replied. He then started to rub her arm again. Gah. he was telling the truth, if he knew some place eles, he would have said it first, his cabinwould be the last he metioned. He rarly accepts guest's, but, she was welcome anytime. Listen to him! Was she starting to change him to a soft guy?! Wow, if he wasn't the guy he is now, he would fall to his knees and beg for the law to be changed and for the two spicies not to be fighting. Eh, he's strong, he can handle hiding though. Ha, like he wasn't already hiding from everyone eles.

Mae couldn't help but smile as Avven suggested going to his cabin. Well, if they wanted seclusion, that would certainly be the place! Oh, my. What would her mother think of such a scandal? With a demon, no less. Well, her mother wouldn't think anything, because she was dead.
"I think the cabin sounds great," Mae replied, attempting to hide a grin as the demon gently rubbed her arm. She tightened her grip on his waist, trying to put herself closer to him. She wanted to feel closer to the man, and piss of anyone from any species who said it was wrong of her to do so. |

"The long way..." Mae repeated, thinking about it for a while. Well, first off, it was cold out. Yes, despite rumors, Vampires actually could get chilled. And secondly, she didn't want to encounter any more stupid demons. Avven, of course, excluded from that stereotype.
"I think I'd like to take the short route, actually," Mae finally said, looking up at Avven. "That is, if you don't mind?" She flashed him a stunning smile, one that she rarely ever used. Not many people wanted to make her smile after all... She was, in fact, very annoyed by the majority of all living things. |

Avven shuckeld and shook his head in amusemnt, he accually liked when she teased him, for the first time!. He started into the alleyway, he looked down at her then down at the ground. "So...." he sighed. He looked down and snorted as he felt something brush against him, he quickly took place and jumped back, he quickly turned back, finding nothing thier. "Sorry..." he said and turned back too her. "Overacting..."
