Mae glanced over her shoulder before entering her usual club. Emotions of despair, lust, greed, lust, joy, and more lust were practically tangible in the air. She breathed in deeply, smiling as she did so. It would be so, so easy to get a meal in here... So many willing victims, so little time.
Mae walked to the bar and flashed the Bartender a toothy grin, who returned one just as wide. When he asked her what she'd like to drink, she responded, "Just a tall glass of you, babe." With a wink, she walked away from the bar, looking for someone who was on their own, and not working. It wasn't before she heard him mutter, "For you, it's free."
The vampire grinned, loving the effect she had on mere mortals. If only Demons were so easily pulled into her seduction schemes. Killing them wouldn't be such a hassle if that were the case. Weaving her way through the crowds, Maeve continued to look for an unsuspecting victim.
[[ ... Meh. I didn't know how to start it... So, I thought, why not a club?

Avven let out a loud yawn as he wached the two "Pfft, mortals.." he muttered ti himself, glad he was basicly his own type of Demon. No other demon was like him, or, that he knew of. He senced that the one girl that was, basicly flirting with the bartender, was a vampire. He wasn't an idiot like his father.
Avven turned to his 'friend' acrossed the table from him. "I'm going to go out side for a sec." he said in a deep voice. He stood up and walked out of the building. He pased around and poped his large fists out of place then back into place. OoC:// It's alright, I'm not very good at starting out some of the times.

Even through all the crowd noise and the music, a deep voice caught Maeve's attention. It sent shivers down her spine, though she couldn't tell if they were good, or bad. She turned, just in time to see a good looking man walk out of the building. She knew upon seeing him that he was a Demon.
Mae snarled at the thought of Demons infesting her most popular feeding grounds. Why was he here? He hadn't even tried to contact her, or cause a scene. Maybe it was all a ruse; get her to follow him outside then attack her. Well, curiosity killed the cat; satisfaction brought it back.
Maeve made her way through the crowds, opening the door to embrace the warm night air. She followed him, catching up easily since he wasn't going particularly fast.
"Hey, Demon," She called after him, her voice laced with pure anger. "This is Vampire Turf, and you're interfering with my feeding. So scrat." |

Avven stoped at looked at her with a smirk "I don't take orders from Vampires." he growled. Avven crossed his arms and leaned them against his chest. "I could hunt you down a mortal, thats if I was stupid like my dad." he laughed. "You know Demons have to eat too. I prey on humans, just like you.. things..." he said.

Mae frowned at the demon as he said he fed on humans. Technically, from the way her body worked, she was still human. But, instead of getting nutrients from food, she got her nutrients from blood, of any sort.
"Things? Demon. Please, stop insulting my kind. More might come running you keep it up." Mae growled back at the Demon, crossing her own arms across her chest to match his position.
Something the demon had said came of great interest to Mae. "Your father helped our kind?" All anger had gone from her voice; it was just pure curiosity now. |

Avven looked at her, a bit codly and an odd look in his eye. "Yes, he has always help your kind. He cared less about his own kind. He made me sick, he was killed a few months back though." he explained. "And stop calling me Demon." he said, his voice calmed down from growling and went back to his regulare deep voice. He turned to face behind him and growled, some human he didn't even know had rested his hand on his sholder.
"Warm night itin' it." the man said and just looked at the two. Avven looked at Mae then back at the man, he looked like we was in his mid thirtys or atleast fourtys.

Mae had heard about a Demon who had helped her kind, but she had never met him. It had almost made her sad to learn that he had died recently. It had made the Demon sick that he hadn't supported their evil lifestyle, but it made Mae proud. Proud that someone was willing to ob
ject them other than the vampires.
Maeve was just about to snap at the Demon when an older gentleman interrupted their conversation. She glanced at him curiously, wondering what in the hell the guy was doing.
"Uhm, can we help you, sir?" Mae finally asked the mysterious man behind Avven. |

The man looked at her and shook his head "Nahh, I'll be on my way. Just thought I'd stop by to, just say hi to good oll' Avven here." the man said and looked at Avven evily.
"Who the hell are you!" Avven growled. The human just lauged and walked away. "Disgracefull human, I'll hunt you down and kill you!" he growl. He wached him walk away and dissipere into the shadows of an alley way.

"Way to keep your cool, Demon," Maeve said with a snort of laughter. She wondered how the damn things even survived in the human climate. "Oh, sorry, I'm not supposed to call you that," She added sarcastically. "So, what should I call you, Demon?" |

Avven growled and stormed after the guy, he turned around and looked at her "Avven" he muttered. He turned back around and stormed after him again. Is he a guy my father, or mother knew?? Perhapps he's mistakin' me for another man.. he thought to himself. He stoped at the edge of the shadows. "Come on out!" he growled, half way ready to shift to his demon form no matter what. He cluched his nuckles and looked around, their was no sign of the man no where, had he even exzisted??

Mae watched the man curiously as he stalked off. She had never been curious about a demon before. What the hell? "Avven?" Mae repeated, even though the man was walking off. What an unusual name. Well, he is a demon, I guess an odd name was normal for a demon. Curse those dreaded creatures.
"The man's gone," Mae said from behind Avven. "He disappeared into the shadows. Completely." Maeve paused and sensed for him. Nothing but shadows. "Gone." She repeated, shaking her head from disbelief.
"Are you sure you didn't know him?"
