Maeve looked down at the man's clenched fists as well, but didn't worry. Sure, a punch from a demon would hurt like hell, but it wouldn't kill her. She contemplated his question. What should he call her? Probably not her real name. What if he went around talking about a 'nice' vampire named Maeve? Her name was pretty unique, so it'd be obvious that it was her.
"You can call me Mae," The vampire eventually said with a sigh. She didn't care really, at that moment. Not anymore. |

Avven nodded and looked at her "Nice? too meet you Mae?" he said oddly and shifted to his demon form with a smirk. Avven held out his hand and his sowrd in the other.

Maeve grinned at the man when he shifted. God, she loved that form. It was... pure evil. And what else would a vampire be attracted to?
"God, you're repulsive," She giggled to him, taking his hand in hers. "But I'm diggin' it." She took her hand back and looked the demon up and down. Ferocious. That was the one word that came to mind when she looked at him. |

Avven smirked and nodded "I know I am." he said."You know, your not bad looking yourself." he smirked.Avven had never really ment a vampire as good looking as her, thank God his father did what he did. Thank God his mom and his father even got married and had him. "Would you like to hold my sowrd?" he asked, a bit sarcasticly.

Mae smiled playfully at the demon. It wasn't every day that a demon called a vampire good looking. That was practically saying 'Hey, I'm a traitor, look at me!' Her eyes widened at his comment, and she glanced down at the sword in his hands. His comment had been sarcastic, but yes, Mae really did want to wield the weapon.

Mae glanced down at his arm. Her face lit up with a huge smile. With both hands, she gripped the handle of the sword. It was a lot heavier than she thought. Way, way too heavy for her. With a soft 'clunk', the tip of the weapon hit the ground. The girl, even with her vampiric strength, couldn't lift the damn thing.
"How do you Demons even hold these things?" Mae said, frowning at the sword in the ground. She wasn't weak, so it's not like he could say that. Granted, as she looked at his huge demonic form, it wasn't hard to see that his being was incredibly strong as well. |

Lol, thanks. BIC:// He chuckled at the sighet "It's alright" she said and took the sowrd. He held it up with his right hand. "It takes a lot of strenth.." he said. He shifted back to his human form and smirked, his sword dissapeared along with his demon form. "So.. Could you show me your fangs?" he said, again, sarcasitcly.

Mae rolled her eyes at his comment. "Fangs?" She snorted from laughter. "You've been watching too many bad vampire movies. We don't have fangs. What a rumor."
Mae laughed again. Fangs? Was this guy serious? Her actual teeth were razor sharp, so there was no need for her canines to actually elongate. Stupid vampire myths. He was probably going to ask her if the sun made her die and turn into a pile of ash as well. |

He laughed "I was just kidding!" he laughed. "I know vampires don't have fangs, it's one thing that I learned from my father. It atleast one thing I accually listened to when my father went on and on about." he said. He could feel his fist's becomeing clutched again. He couldn't stand to talk about his father much longer, he had already told her that her father helped her kind, wasn't that enough?? He couldn't help himself though, he had to talk about his father.

Mae laughed along with the Demon, and stopped when he did. She noticed his clenched fist and frowned. Something about his father... He did not like the man still, even though he was dead. She wondered what made Avven hate his father so, despite the fact he helped 'her' kind.
"Avven," Mae said, putting her hand softly on the man's arm, "You should really just talk about him." She was referring to his father, of course. "I'll listen when you're ready to talk." |

Avven nodded and loked at her, he slowly un cluched his fists and sighed "He was just very agresseve and abusive towrds his whole family..Towrds me and mom.." he sighed. Avven turned and was about to walk down the street to his rented cabin. He was mostly know to lurk in the woods and try to brey on deer and such creatures. He preyed on humans more than enything though, he tried to cutt down so the population of where his 'lived' would rise then be taken down again.

Mae bit her lip as Avven talked about his dad. She knew what it was like to have an abusive father. When the demon turned, she took a step forward, to follow. The short girl put her hand on his shoulder to keep him from walking away.
"I'm really sorry about that, Avven." Mae said, her voice genuine. She bit her lip again, wondering what to say. "I guess my feeling sorry for you doesn't count for much, though, since he supported my kind..." |

BIC:// Avven sighed and turned too her "Da** it, don't, I already have enoughf people feeling sorry for me, please.... don't." he said, his mussles tensed up and his hands cluched again. Avven turned away and sighed again. "A lot of people don't know the pain that I've went though, I've explained it to others and they just don't..." he explained "Get it..." he muttered. He turned to her again and his gaze began to be locked with her's. His icey blue eyes finally turned away and unlocked themself, his gaze turned to the bar, a person walked out then back in. After they went back in, he slowly uncluched his fist's and his mussles untensed. He looked down and noticed after he had uncluched his hands he was shaking, he had never done the same two things at the same time. OoC:// I just HAD to post the guy that walked out and in! "Very few people have gone through what you have," Maeve remarked in a gentle voice. "It's understandable that they wouldn't comprehend your situation." The girl turned her head just in time to see a human walk out of the bar, then back in. Huh. Odd.
Mae turned back to Avven and looked up at him, seeing how he was a lot taller than her. Glancing down at his unclenched hands, she grabbed one gently. "You're shaking..." |
