Jake took the mug, holding it with both hands and feeling the warmth soak through the ciramic into his hands. "Thanks, I needed this." He took a sip and waited to feel the hot liquid run down his throat. "6 A.M? Are you insane kid? I think all this writing has fried your brain missy." He laughed, puting a reasuring arm around her shoulder. "Ofcourse they will, they would be fools not to." He smiled while taking another, much larger, gulp of cocoa.

Jade flipped her weapon, using the wood to block his attacks. She ducked under one swing, lunging forward to grab his collar. She had only time to draw in one breath before she was forced backwards, tripping over her own foot sent her rolling on her back. She didn't allow the momentum to stop though, she followed it through until she was standing with all her weight on her left arm. She flipped back to her feet, swinging her scythe's blade at Lavi's ankles.

  Sureya leaned against him compaionably, managing to snatch a little more of the blanket for herself. "Hey, Jake? Will you read some of it with me? Out loud? Maybe it's a little silly but... It would mean a lot to me." She looked up at him with puppy dog eyes.

  LEvi grinned as he fought back. He lept over Jade's blade and swung at her midsection, where it was covered by armor. The deeper they fell into rhythem, the harder he laughed.

Jake chuckled and nodded. "Sure, I'll read some of it. Though beware my young aprentice, strange things are said about stories." He said, pretending to look about the room for eavesdroppers(?). He leaned in closer to whisper. "They say that if you wish hard enough, the stories you read will come true." He finished, remembering the words his father had told him when he was much younger. He still lived by that today, eveytime he read something he enjoyed he would wish for some of it to come true but so far nothing had ever happened. Still Jake tried it, hoping that one time it would be different.

Jade moved swiftly and gracefully, their little exchange becoming a bit like a dance. He lunged, she dodged, she lunged he dodged... A never ending pattern that took place everytime they fought. "He Levi? Ever notice, we do the same thing almost every day. I just thought of that. It's as if we are so used to this by now. Where is the fun in that?" She let her arm down in thought but not her gaurd. Everyone knew that you were insane to try to attack Jade while she was thinking. A suicidal mission as they would say.

Jake shook his head, remembering the line that she worked so hard to perfect. "Fire, fire burning bright, in the darkness of the night. Grant to me which that I require, Grant me to my heart's desire." He spoke softly as she did, but the moment the last word slipped from his tongue an odd wind picked up. He felt drawn elsewhere, a strange feeling sweeping over him. He found himself falling, past words and sentences and paragraphs. He was falling throught the story. What, this can't be happening. I'm not even sure of what's happening. He realized that it must have been a dream but he couldn't wake himself up from it. That thought didn't make him feel any better about the sky that materialized above them. "Oh dear." He said, falling to the ground but something broke his fall. He looked down to find that he had landed on a strange man with a sword. "Oh you have got to be kidding me." He stated, astounded by the happenings. Jade, who was standing beside her friend started laughing. "A magician has targeted you Levi. He has sent a plague apon you." She laughed, standing up tall. "I guess this means I win." Her smile was mischeivous but harmless. 

  As Jake said the words with her, the world around her brightened. Then she was falling, her words were flashing past her in black streams against cream colored paper. What? What is happening? Could I be falling into the... "Oh my god!" Sureya screamed as she was suddenly blinded by bright blue sky. The breath was knocked out of her as she landed. She had expected worse. Then she realized that she had fallen ON someone... "Oh dear..." she said as she dizzily tried to move away from the strange girl weilding a very sharp looking scythe. That was what she had landed on. "Jake?" Sureya asked woozily.

  Levi's head really hurt. Apparently, the jack ass who had fallen on him had landed on his head. Angry, he shoved the other man off of him uncerimoniously and stood, leveling his sword at him. He paused a moment to laugh when Jade was toppled by a tiny woman with strangly colored hair, but then turned back to the task at hand, namely, frightening the wits out of the man who had fallen on him. "Who are you and where did you come from?"

Jade hit the ground with a loud scream. "What is the meaning of this?" Jade rolled out from under the strange headed girl, the scythe immediately in hand. "I asked you a question. What is the meaning of this?" She demanded, looking to the both of them. "Such weird clothing, and the female isn't wearing a dress. How unslightly." She hissed, forgetting the fact that she herself was not wearing a skirt. "Too much skin is exposed. She must be a *censored*, but the man however. Might you be the wizard? What kind of spell did you conjure up?" She asked with slight curiosity. She had not actually talked to a wizard before. This was turning out to be a rather odd day for her.

"Don't you dare call her a *censored*, your shorts are shorter than hers! That coverup you wear over it doesn't count as a skirt miss. So before you start spreading your hypocracy..." He was cut off by the curved blade that was suddenly by his neck.

"Now, now. This is obviously a peasent. Fogetting his manners about people of our importance. Doesn't he know who protects him at night?" She laughed, holding the blade against the skin of his neck, a tiny bead of blood forming at the cut.

"What are you talking about, the police are who protect us! I can have you arrested for this..." Jake, for the first time, took a look around at his surroundings. "Hey Sureya! Please tell me this is not what I think it is..." He called, recieving a confused stare from his female captor. 

  Still a little dizzy from the fall and her sudden realization Sureya looked guiltily at Jake. "I kinda think it is... Wait, please don't kill us!" She cried as Levi brought his sword closer to her. "May I ask a question, before you impale me? The prince and princess. Their names are Alesander and Rowena, aren't they? And Rowena was once a peasent. We, are not from this place. You might could tell from our clothing." By this point, she was shivering from the early morning cold. Her thin pajama shorts and tank top were providing no warmth.

  Levi looked at the girl strangely. "Yes, Rowena was a peasent. And obviously you are not from our realm. The people in our realm have the decency and intelligence to wear chothes." He gave Sureya a disdainful look, aware of the crowd gathering. "Come. Jade, you will outfit the young woman properly and I will treat the man. Then we shall meet in my quarters and discuss the circumstances."

Jade looked up, a scowl on her face. "What makes you think you're in charge Levi? Oh alright, I fix her up, nice and proper."She sighed, removing the blade out from under Jake's chin. Standing to full height, Jade made her way over to Sureya and grabbed her arm. "Come on, follow me. Fool of girl." The last part was muttered angrily, seeing as she had been landed on by this girl. She wasn't from their realm, yet they knew that the Princess was a peasent. Jade found this slightly strange. She turned to go, dragging Sureya with her. Jake gulped, standing up and finally making the connections.

"Levi? Jade? Sureya, they are your characters!" He exclaimed, though she was already being tugged in the other direction by the female warrior. Having read several copies of the story, Jade was supposed to be the the proper girl, who always followed Levi around but it later grew that she was a warrior. A warrior with equal strength and power to any man. "This is going to be a long day." He sighed though it came out more like a frustrated growl. 

  All Sureya could reply as she was dragged away was, "Yeah, I know, Jake. We're not in Kansas anymore..." Jade was vicious, dragging her through the hallways. "Please don't let her kill me..." was Sureya's mantra as she stumbled after the angry woman.

  Levi was a bit more even tempered than Jade, as well as genuinely curious, but was not going to ask questions untill his partner had arrived with the girl. Judgeing the weaponless man to be no threat, he turned his back on him with a curt, "Follow me," and led him through the corridors to his quarters. Inside, Levi was able to find a white cotton shirt  and dark brown leather riding pants that some court lass had given him many years ago. She had thought him more of a giant than he was. "Here. Clothe yourself," Levi told him, turning his back and begining to sharpen his sword.

((Oh dear... My brain is on oober fail mode lately. I thought I posted on this one too! Hmm, maybe it was a dream that I posted on all of my roleplays. O_o))

"Shush. Your voice is bothering me." Jade growled, gripping her scythe tighter to keep from crushing the odd girl's arm. Finaly coming upon the entrance to her living quarters. Dragging the girl inside, Jade rummaged through her clothes. "Now where did I put that aweful dress?" Jade growled, turning the room upside down trying to fine the dress she despised so much. "Arrrg! Where could it be?!"

Jake nodded and changed quickly, folding his own clothes neatly. The material was heavy and uncomfortable, not at all something that Jake was used to. He stood behind Levi, admiring the art of sharpening a sword. Reading about it was cool, but actually witnessing it made it even cooler. Jake was always fascinated by medival lifestyle but he never in his wildest dreams thought it would come down to this.

  Sureya fell silent as the crazy woman ordered. It's the character, it's my world... But this is not the Jade I wrote. We're not in the story, are we? Somehow, the story became its own world... All she could do was watch as Jade rumaged around, and dodge the various sharp objects that she was pretty sure the woman did not mean to throw at her head.

  Levi felt the man's observation, but chose to ignore it for the moment. "Sit," he said, indicating the table on the far side of the room. When the ladies arrive, we shall begin your interrogation.
