Deathnote turned his head towards her, a mouse clamped in his jaws. With a smile he sat down next to Dawnshadow and dropped his mouse on the ground so he could speak. "Nothing much," he said with another yawn. "What are you planning to do today?"

Boneshatter was quiet for a moment. "Hm. Not sure." He looked at Batear, sliding the fresh kill she'd gotten him closer. "Perhaps I'll go for a walk." Blinking his golden eyes, he ate his meal quickly, realizing how hungry he had really been. "What are your plans for today?"

Ravenfeather sat up, shooting his sister a withering look. "There's nothing to do around here anyways," he muttered, flicking his ears. A small part of his mind wondered where Honeywhisker was, but he shoved it away. With a yawn he blinked at Cloudfeather. "Go get me a mouse or something."

"Hi," Jadewhisper purred, not to be ignored. Her bright green eyes glowed. "What're you doing out by yourself?" Picking her kill back up, she trailed after Honeywhisker. 

Dawnshadow shrugged, "maybe do a little exploring, and get some hunting done." she said, glancing up at him from her meal, "want to come along?" she asked.

Batear thought for a moment, sitting down on her haunches and wrapping her tail around her paws, "hmmmm. Maybe go talk to Cougarstar or Mudsplash about going on patrol, maybe I'll even get some hunting done too." she said with a smile.

Cloudfeather raised one eyebrow, "who died and made you king?" she asked with a chuckle, "go get your own mouse." she flicked his ear with her tail.

Honeywhisker sighed, she couldnt just ignore Jadewhisper, that would probably make it worse. "What are you doing out here by yourself?" she countered, voice icy and as sharp as nails.

So...you never told me what you were grounded for. You ought to tell me before I find out where you live and start spreading nasty rumours of  you consorting with aliens. o-o]

"Hunting," Jadewhisper said through a mouthful of mouse. Her eyes were bright and friendly. Her silver tail flicked back and forth as she followed the grumpy she-cat through the forest. "Want to join me?"

"Thats sounds interesting," Boneshatter said, straightening out. "Tell them I said hello." He got onto his paws with one of his rare deep, rumbling chuckles. "I'll see you around, Batear. May StarClan lead your way."

Exiting his den, he left the camp in complete silence, wondering faintly where he would walk to.

"Bite me," Ravenfeather muttered, padding out of the warriors den. The bright sunlight forced him to narrow his eyes into slits. He yawned and stretched out again, only to be greeted by Mudsplash half way to the fresh kill pile.

"Could you gather a patrol for me?" she asked, eyes distant. He wondered what she was thinking about, but said nothing. 

"Okay. I'll take Cloudfeather, Deathnote and Dawnshadow." Yawning, he padded back towards his sister.

Deathnote wriggled excitedly. "Sounds like fun," he purred happily. "I'd love to come along." He flicked her gently with the tip of his black and brown tail. "What kind of exploring are we talking about? Exploring our territory, or maybe investigating RockClan..." 

"Do I have a choice in the matter?" Honeywhisker asked, lashing her gold-tipped tail.

Batear padded fro the Medicine Cat's den on light feet. She pranced over to Mudspash, "Morning." She purred, "Mind if I tag along with any patrol you are setting up?" she asked, "I need to stretch my muscles." she said with a laugh.

"Ahh, back so soon?" Cloudfeather teased, "you better have brought my breakfast."

__

Dawnshadow shrugged, "I kind of wanted to explore that twoleg place thats just outside of our territory. I can smell the fat mice from our territory. There is a dog that lives there, but it leaves with its twoleg every morning, and its not like the cows are going to hurt us, they are too stupid." she said with a laugh, "and I want to see if there are and kittypets there to mess with." her eyes glimmered mischeviously.

Deathnote flicked her with his tail. "Alright, let's go then. Before we both get stuck going on patrol or something." He started to pad out of camp, purring to himself as he usually did.

Ravenfeather snorted. "We have to go on patrol," he said sourly. "So come on."

~

Mudsplash nodded, hollow eyes focusing on Batear. "Er- sure. I'm staying here. Not feeling too well..." She wandered away from Batear after that, going to go curl up in a patch of sunlight.

"Probably not, no." Jadewhisper said, ignoring her tone. "Why don't we go down by the river?" 

Dawnshadow blinked in suprise, she didnt think Deathnote would go along with her and her crazy plans, nobody usually did. With a purr, she dashed out of camp, "you better hurry if you want to get out of here, Mudsplash looks like shes got Ravenfeather and Batear already on patrol!" she called back over her shoulder.

Honeywhiskers sighed, then shrugged, "why not?" she said, adjusting her direction slightly so that she was headed toward the water.

__

Cloudfeather flicked his ear gently with her tail, "no need to be so grumpy about it." she purred, "lets go then." she said, padding out into the sunlight.

__

Batear watched Mudsplash curiously, with a bit of concern in her eyes, but pushed it from her mind when she saw Cloudfeather and Ravenfeather, "hey, I guess I'm going with you two on patrol." she said with a slight purr.

__

Cougarstar sat silently beside Mudsplash, glancing around the camp, "what is the matter young one?" she asked.

"Just thinking about my dad and mum," Mudsplash said quietly. She'd always been her father's daughter. She knew that she was closer to him than her brother and sister had been.

Ravenfeather glared at her, then said in a snappish tone, "Guess it's just the three of us, then. Seeing as Mudsplash is incapable, and Deathnote and Dawnshadow just ran off to do Starclan knows what."

"I love fishing," Jadewhisper purred, rasping a tongue over her chest fur. "Do you like fishing in the river?"

~

Cougarstar nodded, she missed her sister deeply, and seeing her last night made the pain just as fresh as the day she had died.

"Fishing is best when its hot out," Honeywhisker said, "then I dont mind getting wet as much, but I'd rather hunt in the trees, I like catching squirrels." she admitted.

__

Cloudfeather chuckled, "alright, lets go then." she purred.

Batear smiled at Ravenfeather, "well arent we awful cheerful today." she teased, getting a laugh out of Cloudfeather.

"Water voles are lovely," Jadewhisper purred, weaving her silver body around the saplings as they neared the water. "Easy to catch though, so it gets quite boring."

Mudsplash blinked, realizing by the silver on her leader's muzzle just how old she was getting. A shiver ran down her spine. She wasn't ready to loose cougarstar; nor was she ready to take up the role of leader herself.

Ravenfeather snarled sarcastically, "Oh yes. Just dandy." He stalked off towards the camp entrance, not waiting for them. 

((are you gonna post as Deathnote? *gigglesnorts* XD)) COugarstar arched one eyebrow, "well?" Cougarstar asked, wrapping her tail around her paws.

Honeywhisker smiled briefley, which was extremely out of character for a cat like herself, "so learn to get better at hunting rabbits and squirrels, the challenge makes them all the more worthwhile." she said with a flick of her tail.

Cloudfeather rolled her eyes and pranced off after her brother with Batear at her side.

"I'd ask if hes always like this, but ever since I moved into the warriors den, I know the answer is yes." Batear said quietly to Cloudfeather in an amused tone of voice, "and its not like either of your parents were grumpy, so its rather intresting." she chuckled softly.

Cloudfeatehr shrugged with a grin, "well, I'm always in a good mood, so the grumpyness had to go somewhere." she mused.
