Dawnshadow sighed and curled up in a tiny ball, closing her eyes and drifted off to sleep. HSe dreamed of being an kit, back when her parents were still alive, and she dreamed of her mother, how sleek, strong, and independent the Black she-cat had been, even though she was blind, and she dreamed of being back in camp, right after becoming a warrior.

Tiger curled up in a tiny, wet ball of fur not far from Ravenfeather. Her fluffy white fur clung to her body, making her look even smaller. although she was tired, somehow she knew she wouldnt get much sleep, she sighed and looked up. Even though she was underground, she knew somehow she was looking at where the star her gut was telling her to follow was, and wondered what was drawing her to it.

Tiger rose to her feet wtih a groan. She hadnt slept most of the night, and when she did, she was haunted by nightmares, imagining how Rainstar had been killed, and missing her old friends. She padded out of the badger set, grateful that her fur had dried off during her sleep. She wondered how much she had talked in her sleep, and how much tossing around she had done.

Dawnsahdow opened her eyes and started to stretch, surpressing a gasp of pain as she moved her injured leg. She closed her eyes and gritted her teeth. ((fail XD))

Batear opeded her eyes and yawned, stetching lazinly and wincing as her joints popped. She was sore everywhere, but other than that, pretty much fine. She was gratefull that she had been able to get away from the fight without any life-threatening or particularily painful injuries. Just some bruises and sore muscles, nothing that would hold her back for very long.

__

CAMP:

Honeywhisker woke with a horrible feeling in her gut. Somehow, everything felt wrong. She couldnt pinpoint the feeling, but she had a feeling something bad had happened, but as she walked out of the warriors den, everything looked normal, she saw Shadefang eating a small vole for breakfast, and Eagletalon talking to him, probably about going on Dawn Patrol...

Eagletalon smiled, "thanks Shadefang, I don't suppose you could ask some other cats if they want to go along?"

Shadefang shrugged, "Sure, I'll ask Darkwing and Jadewhisper if they want to go along," he said, rising to his paws and padding to the warriors den. Once inside, he padded over to Jadewhisper and prodded her lightly with his paw, "hey," he whispered, "wake up, Eagletalon wasts us to go on Dawn patrol." He said.

Cloudfeather groaned, hissing quietly at her cousin, "Shadefang, I know you're trying to be quiet, but It's not working very well." she teased wtih a yawn, rising to her paws and shaking out her fur.

Gucci leapt off the couch as her two-ger walked into the room. SHe purred loudly and was immeadeately picked up. She female twolef carried the long-furred cat into the kitchen, wehre she went into the cupboard and pulled out a treat. Gucci wasnt hungry, but she ate the strong-smelling snakc anyway. She didnt really like them, but getting on the two-legs good side always got her and O'brian outside faster. The twoleg cooed at her and scratched her chin lightly with its paw.

"You really are shameless." O'Brian meowed, walking into the room, tailtip twitching back and forth, "you do know that right?" He teased.

Gucci rolled her eyes, "cats werent meant to be kept in a house." she replied, "and I don't plan to sit in one any longer." she said, Right on cue, the family dog, Peanut, came barreling into the room, barking madly and wagging his tail everywhere. Gucci didnt really mind peanut, he usually left her alone, but she didnt appreciate the drool. The twoleg laughed and set Gucci down, heading over to the door and opening it. Gucci rubbed against the two-legs shin as she strolled past, O'Brian not far behind. Once outside, Gucci trotted up to the fence, ignoring Peanut, who was gleefully frolicking around the yard, and leapt up onto the top of the fence.

O'Brian jumped up beside her, his orange fur gleaming in the early morning sunshine, "You know," he began, green eyes intelligent far beyond his years, "One of these days, you are going to get sick of jsut talking about leaving the two-legs behind. And being the foolish friend I am, I'm probably going to go along." he said wtih a laugh.

Ravenfeather, blinking a few times before gaining full consciousness, moved to quickly. His body started to spasm, retching coughs escaping his chest. Although the sound woke up Deathnote and Chain, it quickly ceased and he laid there, panting for a moment. Where was Tiger? He looked around anxiously for her. Then, thinking for a moment, he sighed inwardly. What am I going to tell Honeywhisker when we get back?

Deathnote was on his feet in moments, body shrieking in protest. Although Ravenfeather now looked fine but distraut, he still took a minute to sit back down. Then, staring at Dawnshadow for a moment, he frowned. "You gonna live?" he teased, eyes sparkling dimly.

__

Chain seemed to be the only one completely fine, minus the slight headache. He peered at the others, flicking his ears. "Perhaps," he inquired, "we should go find something to eat now. That, and I must look for herbs. Both Dawnshadow and Ravenfeather seem to need them."

CAMP:

Darkwing limped out of the warrior's den stiffly, entire leg burning every time he took a step. Although his body showed no signs of being in pain, his eyes hid nothing. He made his way past Eagletalon, grimacing, and towards Boneshatters den, only to find that he was not there.

__

Boneshatter was perched on a rock not far from the stream, eyes clouded with confusion. "A star has disappeared from your midsts, Starclan," he mumbled quietly. "Perhaps a certain cat was aiding the prophecy cats?" He only sighed, shaking his head quietly. No answers; ever since the cats had left, there was no answers.

Jadewhisper rolled over grumpily, trying not to sound too hoarse. She hadn't slept at all, and you could tell. "Get someone else to do it," she grumbled. "I don't want to."

Mudstar stepped outside her den, eyes a mixture of different emotions. For a moment, she almost expected to see Cougarstar again, greeting her with a flick of her ears. But there was no Cougarstar; the last of the generation had died out.

247 Wayward Cressent: 

Tessa snarled angrily, ears pinned to her head as she flattened herself against the wall. Her owner's German Shepherd, Marcie, snarled back and snapped at her. Dashing between furniture and onto counters, she tried to keep ahead of the great brown animal. Why was she inside? The twolegs always kept Marcie outside, no matter what. 

She froze where she was perched on the table, starting to go the other way. The door was open.  

Dawnshadow groaned dramatically, "I don't know, somebody should probably bring me breakfast in bed." she purred, "that would make me feel so much better." she said, rolling onto her side and sighing lazily. Just because the sun is getting up, doesn't mean I have to.She thought.

Batear stood up and shook out her fur, "well, I'm game to try hunting again." she saidtwitching her ears.((now SHE fails XD))

CAMP

Shadefang rolled his eyes, "Fine, I'll just go find Honeywhisker to go along." he said with a shrug, "C'mon CLoudfeather, you can come along too." he said. Cloudfeather groaned and followed her cousin, knowing he would make her go whether she wanted to or not.

Boneshatter walked back into camp, waving his tail at Darkwing as he slipped into his den. Although his stomach grumbled, he ignored it, beginning to mumble to himself unhappily.

Chain nodded, padding out of the badger den. The ground was damp, but the air was fresh and the sky was bright and clear. He inhaled deeply.

Deathnote nodded, following Chain out. "Safety in numbers," was all he mumbled as an explanation. 

((Uhh. we should timeskip to WAY ahead, to the next evening, when Ravenfeather, Dawnshadow, and CHain reach camp and the traveling cats are following Tiger again, then we can bring in the kittypets.
