Boneshatter stared angrily at his Clan's captive, trying not to let his presence disturb his work. He turned away and continued sorting through herbs, fur standing on end as Lonestar's eerie voice echoed through his den. "You killed Aspentail. I saw you." The younger tom only growled under his breath in response. "You know, you would make a wonderful addition to StoneClan as a warrior. There is great potential in you. You're a natural born killer."

He whirled around, claws unsheathed, and struck Lonestar without warning. Blood dripped onto the ground from the deep scratches that now ran through his left eye. "Be quiet," he said quietly, returning to sorting his herbs. He cared not to tend to the other cat's wounds.

Mudstar paced back and forth on high rock, ears twitching rapidly. Her paws tingled, as they always did when she suspected something was wrong. However, she did nothing but sit down and stare blankly at the entrance to Boneshatter's den. Somehow she doubted putting Lonestar in there with Boneshatter and near-dead Darkwing was a good idea.

Darkwing was watching Boneshatter more carefully now, suspecting that the white tom had no idea he was awake. He never knew him to be so volatile; normally he was quiet, and calm, preferring to watch rather than take part. Now he was clawing at Lonestar like some sort of animal? He couldn't register it, so instead he looked out of the entrance to see if he had any visitors.

Jadewhisper didn't want to get up. So instead she pressed her face into Shadefang's fur and inhaled deeply. She wanted to forget everything that was happening, and pretend that yesterday never happened. But the scratches on her body said otherwise, and it would be hard to forget with Lonestar prowling the camp all day.

Ravenfeather had been trailing behind the group with Tiger, surprised at how well the Kittypets could keep up. Tessa seemed keen to staying near Batear, where Deathnote also was. Distantly he wondered what they were chatting about, but then he realized he didn't care and turned to look at Tiger.

Deathnote hated the vast field they were crossing now. It had been hours since they were near the willow, and he almost longed for its large, protective branches and comfort again. There was almost nothing around them except gra ss and sky. What looked like a mountain loomed overhead like an oncoming storm.

Tessa distantly wondered how a couple of kits had come this far, but didn't care to ask. She was enjoying the exploration, collar jingling in the slight breeze. "So," she said, distantly, still hyped that Deathnote had agreed to their little ceremony. "When will we be getting our names? Are we going to stop any time soon?"

Chain hated the feeling of the grass brushing against his stomach. It made his want to claw up the plants at their roots. He continued on without complaint, though, eyes focused on the mountain in the distance. He didn't like the look of it.
