Dawnshadow shuddered and pressed close to Deathnote in fear, "What I never will understand is how exactly it happened." she whispered. Her eyes were wide and her fur stood on end.

Tiger unsheathed her claws again, curling her lip, "he doesnt scare me." she snarled, twitching her ears, "so Boneshatter is your medicine cat?" she asked, changing the subject.

__

Honeywhisker hissed in frustration, but slunk into the undergrowth, melting into the shadows. She padded silently back to where her prey was stashed and picked it up, heading back toward camp. She grabbed Jadewhisper's fish as well, she would come back for the rabbit.

__

Cougarstar blinked at Darkpaw, "well. I guess we could have it tonight if you wish." she purred.

"You mean it?" He squeaked, fur standing on end. "I'm so excited!" His lime green eyes were wider than the full moon. "Thank you, Cougarstar! You won't regret it!" Darkpaw dashed out of camp as fast as his injured leg would take him to go find his sister, Honeywhisker, and tell her the good news.

Mudsplash frowned, twitching her nose. "I smell... Jadewhisper. And another cat?"

~

Jadewhisper nodded, approaching the camp entrance. "He's a big white cat with silver and black markings. He doesn't talk much, so don't expect any conversation." She smiled, nodding towards the bramble entrance. "We're here now."

~

Ravenfeather padded into camp, not looking at Jadewhisper or Tiger as he p*censored*ed. He ignored his mother's concerned look, choosing to pad up to the fresh kill pile and grab a rabbit.

~

Deathnote stared, eyes trailing over the claw-marked, glossy black pelt of the bull. It was pacing about it's pen, snorting and kicking its hooves. "I know how it happened;" he muttered, hopping down from the sill, into a pen with a couple pigs. They ignored him. "They were trampled. What I don't understand is why they were in here in the first place." 

Honeywhiskers saw Darkpaw as she carried the prey into camp and sighed, he was obviously going to tell her something, whether she liked it or not.

"I smell them too, and CLoudfeather, Ravenfeather, and Batear." she purred, voice full of relief, "I wonder who they have brought back wtih them." she said, tilting her head.

__

Dawnshadow shrugged, leaping down into the pig pen as well, "why are we here?" she countered, "I mean, they could have just been exploring, like we are."

__

Tiger padded into the StrikeClan camp, eyes wary, "wow. This is definately bigger than the StoneClan camp." she said. She glanced around and saw a Brown tabby she-cat standing beside a tawny she-cat who resembled a Mountain Lion. Cougarstar, she remembered. She had gone to one Clan Gathering and had seen the StrikeCLan leader there, "should I introduce myself to your leader first?" she asked.

"Honeywhisker!" Darkpaw called, skidding to a halt in front of his sister. "You'll never guess what!"

"Hm. I wonder too; smells like StoneClan." She tilted her head to the side, frowning for a moment. Worry filled her eyes. "Deathnote and Dawnshadow aren't with them..."

~

"I doubt it," He meowed, squeezing his body through the gate out of the pig pen. "My mother wasn't one for exploring, and I doubt Feralwind would have let her near anything that might be dangerous." He twitched his whiskers, drawing near the bull pen. "There must be something - or some cat that they were looking for or something."

~

"No, no," Jadewhisper purred. "You head over to Boneshatter's den. I'll explain everything to Cougarstar. You can meet her after you've been healed up."

A sudden rumbling voice behind Jadewhisper made her jump. "I've been expecting you." Boneshatter blinked quietly at Tiger, harsh yellow eyes looking her over. "They told me you were coming." He turned around, padding back into his den without another word.

"Yeah. Go with him." She chuckled, walking away from Tiger. "I'll just be over here if you need me."

"Hedgehogs can now fly and have taken over the clan?" Honeywhiskers said sarcastically, setting down her prey on the freshkill pile.

Cougarstar nodded her head, "she does smell of StoneClan, but more of the forest, she smells like a rouge." she said, she glanced at Mudsplash, "Dawnshadow and Deathnote left on their own to go hunt I think." she said, waiting for Jadewhisper to come explain everything to her.

__

Tiger limped after Boneshatter, "you must be the Medicine Cat." she said, amber eyes trying to hide the pain she felt, "I'm Tiger." she said.

__

Dawnshadow leapt gracefully over the pig pen gate, landing beside Deathnote silently, "but if they were after something, or someone, wouldnt they have brought other cats along? I mean, like my father, or someone else who was strong?" she asked.

((Btw.....I never did tell you who was in that one death scene drawing I did XD))

"I know who you are," Boneshatter said, deep voice unmarred by sarcasm. He pulled out different herbs and cobwebs, tail curled around his paws. "Seems you weren't welcome in StoneClan," he muttered, turning around to face her. "Seems you haven't done anything to prevent infections as well."

~

 "I don't think so," Deathnote said, frowning as he eyed the bull. "Not if it was something they didn't want anyone else to know about." He blinked, then said in a deflated voice, "You know, we're probably looking too far into this. They were probably just exploring as you said earlier."

~

Mudsplash frowned, unhappy with this. She didn't particularly like Deathnote; he'd always bothered her a bit, due to the fact he was constantly running off to explore and getting himself into trouble.

Jadewhisper padded up to Cougarstar, dipping her head in respect. Slowly, she told her word for word what had happened. How they met Tiger, and everything beyond that. She tried to ignore the look in Mudsplash's eyes when she told them of Ravenfeather's actions.

"No, silly!" Darkpaw purred, chuckling as he ignored the sarcasm in her voice. "I'm gonna be a warrior! Cougarstar said my ceremony could be tonight!" His fur was standing on end with excitement. "Isn't that just great?" 

((......it....is..........DUN DUNDUN!!!! Adderstrike(i make a lot of drama about him). I want a war to spark between StoneCLan and StrikeCLan, about SunStar's desire for territory, and he dies defending all that he loves ^-^... and i found a way to warp it into Deathnote & Dawnshadow's little adventure they are on XD Feralwind went after the cat who killed his brother, Sabletail followed to try and stop him, and both got killed in a trap set up by Tigerstar&whoever killed Adderstrike*cant remember his name*))

Tiger puffed up, "I was a StoneClan apprentice, Lonestar is the only reason I am here today, you StarClan must know what he did! and how wrong it was! How could they have given him his nine lives? Arent they supposed to protect you?" she winced and sat down, "besides, how am I supposed to prevent infections when they threw me in the river to die? Its only by luck that I'm even alive." she hissed.

((I have some Drama to unfold with Tiger/Tigerfrost. i hinted to it a little teeny tiny bit in that paragraph. I wonder if you can see it too XD its kinda hard to find, and even if you do see it, I won't tell you what it is XD))

Dawnshadow blinked, "well, I had heard that Feralwind was a bit of an adventure lover." she said, wtih a sigh, "but lets change the subject. How far are we from that bull?" she asked, looking around, "all I see is gates and fences."

Honeywhisker grunted, "sounds awesome." she said, voice void of emotion.

__

Cougarstar nodded her head, "I'm shocked that Honeywhisker stood up for Tiger, she isnt normally that kind of cat. What I really want to know, is, how, if this she-cat was as badly hurt as you say, she managed to fight off Ravenfeather. If we can convince her to stay, she would make a great warior." she said thoughtfully.

"I know what he did," Boneshatter rumbled. "But it is not my place to p*censored* judgement. StarClan will do their job." He started to apply the herbs and cobwebs to her wounds, being surprisingly gentle for a cat of his size. "I believe it is best you do not speak of such things, though. Cats may not take kindly to such news." He paused, thinking distinctly of Honeywhisker and Ravenfeather, then continued with his work.

"Close enough," Deathnote meowed, hopping ontop of one of the walls that separated pens. He looked down on the beast, noticing that it was now drinking water loudly from some sort of twoleg contraption.

~

Darkpaw stopped, looking at her in disbelief. "I can't believe you. I'm about to become a warrior and you can't even pretend to care?" He bristled, unsheathing his claws unhappily. "You did the same thing when I got hit by a Monster!" he exclaimed. "You never cared! Like you had better things to do?"

He spun around, stalking away from his sister in disgust. "Whatever. You're just like Dad."

Jadewhisper shrugged. "Ravenfeather seemed distracted. Plus, his claws weren't even unsheathed. I don't think he was aiming to actually fight her; just to scare her off." She sighed. "But that's not important. You do have a point. But it's up to Tiger." 

((otay :D we will use your idea for the bull thing :D and yus Adderstrike >:D))

Tiger snorted, "I don't care what they think. They don't matter to me. I'm the only one who needs to like myself." she hissed.

"And damn proud of it!" Honey whisker called after her brother. She lashed her tail then stalked back into the forest to get the rest of her prey.

__

Dawnshadow looked closely at the bull, "he actually doesnt look to dangerous right now." she said, "But he sure is big." she said, voice awestruck, "even bigger than the cows outside."

Cougarstar nodded, "of course. I wouldnt want her to stay if it made her unhappy, but I suppose we should make her feel welcome." She said, "I wonder what her whole story is." she muttered soflty.

Cloudfeather ate a vole in two swift gulps. Then sat down and gave her chest fur a quick lick. She glanced around camp and saw her cousin, Shadefang, finally waking up. She padded up to him, "good morning lazy bones." she purred

Shadefang laughed, "the early bird may catch the worm, but the night owl catches the mouse, and I don't know about you, but a prefer mice." he said with a smile.

Batear sat alone in a small shady patch, lazily dozing already.

__

Eagletalon plucked the feathers from a thrush and taking a greedy bite.((fail XD))

Tiger flicked her ears, "It's mnot bitterness. Its hostility. There's a difference." she hissed, "and I have earned a right to it."

Dawnshadow blinked, then she leapt down from her spot on the railing, "you coming?" she asked Deathnote as she dashed toward the hold, slipping through it quietly.

__

Cougarstar laughed, "well, I suppose you could try and convince her if you make friends with her." she said.

"Okay," Jadewhisper said, perking up.

Deathnote followed silently, being careful not to attract the bull's attention. He slipped through the hole, following the small tunnel until they came to what seemed to be some sort of attic. Or basement; he wasn't sure. An elderly silver tom sat across the room from them. He smelled different; he wasn't rogue, kittypet or Clan cat. His scent reminded Deathnote of sunshine, morning dew and fresh rain.

"Finally, you're here," the tom purred, not looking at them. "Ah, Deathnote. You look just like your father. And who is this charming she-cat you have with you?"

Chills shimmered up and down his spine.

"You have not earned anything," Boneshattered meowed, stirring the water with his right paw. "Once your paws touched StrikeClan soil, you were given a clean slate. We do not know you; you do not know us. Therefore you still have some time to earn the right to many things. Being hostile, is one of them." He yawned. "I am tired of this conversation. Leave my den at once. Jadewhisper is waiting for you; I can feel it."

Dawnshadow stared at the other tom, unable to speak, she glanced nervously at Deathnote. How did this other cat know him? And why didnt he smell like any other cat. With a little effort, she found her voice, "I am Dawnshadow." she said, voice sounding way more confident than she felt, "And who might you be?"

Tiger hissed and spun, stalking out of the den angrily. But, she had to admit, he had apoint. This was a new life, a new chance. All of her mistakes could be left back in StoneClan, and here, she could make something of herself. She smiled when she saw Jadewhisper, "you're right, hes a good medicine cat." she said.

Tiger held Mudsplash's gaze fearlessly, "pleasure to meet you Mudsplash. I hope all you've heard is good." she smiled smugly, then looked to Cougarstar and dipped her head, "greeting Cougarstar, I thank you for allowing me to enter your camp."

Cougarstar dipped her head in response, "It is no problem, I know what its like to have a Clan you dont belong to help you when your in need." she purred, referring to when she joined the clan, back when she was only 7 moons old, born to one of the mountain tribes.

"Elder," Dawnshadow began, "if you know so much of our clan, then why do you live here alone? Shouldnt you be with them?" she asked nervously. She was intensly curious as to what Elder was talking about when he asked about Deathnote's siblings, for as long as she had known him, he was the only kit in Sabletail's litter.

"I was never a Clan cat," he rumbled, laughing lightly. Elder smiled. "I've lived here, with my mate for as long as I can remember." He turned to Deathnote. "It was your mother, and father, who brought me to the Clan."

Deathnote shivered, and then asked two questions. "If you're blind, how can you say I look like Feralwind? And why did my parents bring you there?"

"You don't need eyes to see," Elder muttered, looking amused. "And your parents came to me when you, your brother and your sister were ill. It was an ancient disease; I, fortunately, had the right herbs. Your medicine cat was rendered useless." He yawned. "I collected my herbs and went to your camp immediately. The next day I left, leaving your Medicine Cat Apprentice the instructions on where to find and how to use the herb. Your parents escorted me home."

Deathnote was confused. "I don't understand. Then how did my parents die? What happened to my brother and sister?"

"Sealkit and Graykit fell ill once again." He explained. "Your parents came to me once again; but this time, the bull that guards my entrance was enraged. They were trampled to death." He blinked sadly at Deathnote. "I took the bodies back to your Camp; but they told me to leave soon after I gave your siblings the medicine."

"So their dead?" Deathnote said, frowning. "I don't remember Sealkit or Graykit."

Mudsplash nodded to Cougarstar. "I'm going to have a talk with Ravenfeather. Jadewhisper, if you could show Tiger around, that would be wonderful." She got up, stretching out her brown tabby body, before wandering off towards Ravenfeather.

Jadewhisper nodded, eyes bright.  

Dawnshadow shook her head, "I don't understand. The bull didnt give us any trouble when we came in, why did he kill Sabletail and Feralwind?" she asked, "they couldnt have done anything wrong. From all of the stories I heard, Feralwind was well liked, and Sabletail was a kind she-cat." she thought for a moment, then her eyes widened in shock as the thought his her like a two-leg monter, unless someone provoked the bull. She prayed she was just looking too far into things again.

Tiger shot a distrusting glance at Mudsplash, "I don't think she likes me too much." she whispered to Jadewhisper.

__

Cougarstar stood back up, and padded to her den, laying in the entrance and glanced up at teh sky, waiting for the sun to be low enough for her to start Darkpaw's warrior ceremony.

Elder shrugged. "Maybe the two-legs had been bothering the bull, or maybe another cat had come by earlier and agitated it. I am not so sure." He closed his eyes, falling silent. 

"How did my parents know about you?" Deathnote asked, frowning. "surely you didn't visit the Clans before?" 

"A little black cat and another cat came to me a long time ago; I healed them after the black one was injured. I think he may have told your mother about me." Elder smiled. "I never found out thier names; nor can I remember just what they looked like.

"She doesn't like many cats," Jadewhisper explained, "She met a rogue once and let him go free; he attacked her a few weeks later, so she's sort of edgy around new cats. Nothing personal." She pointed out the apprentice den, and the nursery. "The only cat you should avoid is Ravenfeather. He's not....the nicest."

~

Mudsplash snarled, cutting Ravenfeather off again. "You will speak to me with respect!" she hissed, tail lashing. He was so irritating!

"Make me," Ravenfeather retorted, pushing past her to stalk out of camp. He hated arguing with Mudsplash, but he knew she would never get Cougarstar to kick him out; he was too valuable to the Clan. And he knew too much, so they wouldn't risk him running off to StoneClan.

Cloudfeather padded up to Mudsplash, shaking her head, "what will it take to getthough to him?" she asked desperately. She loved her brother dearly, but for reasons unknown, he was bitter and mean.

Tiger laughed, "Ravenfeather, istn he the one who attacked me?" she asked. She didnt necessarily fear him, but he did put her a little bit at ease, as if she wasnt entirely safe around him.

__

Dawnshadow shook her head, "this is madness." she said with an exasperated sigh, "do you know what happened to Sealkit and Graykit? did they really die?" she squeaked.

Deathnote frowned. "What else could have happened? They couldn't have left the Clan; they were only kits, and they wouldn't have been stolen, or I would have been taken too." There was a drawn out silence. "I think he's lying."

Elder frowned. "I am a lot of things," he said patiently. "But I am not a liar."

"Yup," She meowed, pointing out the warriors den. "He's the tom who jumped on you. His claws are almost as sharp as his tongue. Everyone thinks he should leave, but nobody has actually told him that." She chuckled, then said, "And there he is, stalking out of camp...again..."

~

Mudsplash sighed and shrugged. "I don't know. Maybe it would be best if he left the Clan, Cloudfeather. You can see how unhappy he is." She blinked, and then said, "Can you do me a favor? Next chance you get, talk to him about it. See if he actually wants to leave StrikeClan."
