Tiger shrugged, "I didn't even mean to imply it, I was just suprised. And then I was banished. So I'm starting to think he did kill her." she hissed.

"As if!" Dawnshadow snorted, padding over to Boneshatter's den, "his head would explode if he knew that much!"

"what do you mean by that?" Honeywhisker asked, tilting her head.

"Nothing," Ravenfeather said, glancing sideways at her. "I don't mean anything by that. Nothing at all."

"Shush," Deathnote said with a choked laugh as they entered Boneshatter's den. It smelled of bitter herbs.

Boneshatter was bent over his mini-Moonpool, only flicking his ears as they entered. "You have something to ask me?" he inquired, turning slowly to look at them.

"That's horrible," Jadewhisper breathed. "Rainstar was a decent cat. She was pretty nice for coming from StoneClan."

Honeywhisker rolled her eyes, "if you say so." she said with a laugh.

Dawnshadow laughed, "yeah, how is it you know everything?" she purred, unsuccesfully trying to hide her giggles.

__

Tiger nodded solemly, "she was. She took me in, trained me as her own apprentice, and was the closest thing I've ever had to a mother." her voice was quiet, "anyway, I want to find out the truth about what happened to her, and I'd appreciate it if you didnt tell anyone, I don't think they would approve." she said, looking at the ground.

Boneshatter looked unimpressed. "The answers to everything is there; you just have to look hard enough and have faith." Blinked, he nodded at Dawnshadow. "Now what is your real question?"

"Why would I tell anyone?" Jadewhisper said. She added with a slight laugh, "And besides, that makes us even. You don't tell anybody my secret, and I won't tell anybody yours."

Ravenfeather shot a withering look at her and got to his paws. "I'm going back to camp," he announced.  

"Do you know who Elder is? And if what he told us eas true?" Dawnshadow asked timidly.

Tiger smiled, "yeah I guess it does. Thanks, now you should introduce me to everyone here." he wounds stille stung, and her muscles were rather sore, but the way she say it, what didn't kill her made her stronger, and laying around didnt make it any better.

"Have fun with that." Honeywhisker said, sitting back down and staring at the water's surface and letting the tip of her tail touch it, making a little ripple.

Ravenfeather opened his mouth to say something, then closed it again and left. A few minutes later he padded into camp, in an unusually pleasant mood.

Jadewhisper sighed. "Well, you've met Ravenfeather, Cougarstar and Mudsplash. You know me, Jadewhisper, Boneshatter and Honeywhisker." She smirked. "I think Deathnote and Dawnshadow just came in. We'll go say hello to them." She got up and started to trot towards the Medicine cat den.

"You met Elder?" Boneshatter said, looking slightly puzzled. "Starclan is being mysterious today. They only told me you went to the Barn place. Not that you saw Elder."

"You didn't know?" Deathnote meowed, blinking at the larger tom. "Wow."

"Anyways. Elder taught me the cure for the Plague." He blinked. "I was just made Medicine Cat apprentice then, but it seems to have stuck. Why? What did he tell you two?"

Dawshadow wrapped her tail around her paws, "he told us that Deathnote had siblings, but I dont remember either of them." she said quietly.

Tiger got up and followed Jadewhisper, glancing around nervously every so often to see if anyone was staring at her.

Ravenfeather watched Tiger and Jadewhisper silently, tail tip flicking back and forth as he sat outside the warriors den. Darkpaw, who was laying on the ground beside him, was rambling on about something. He wasn't listening.

"Sealkit and Graykit?" Boneshatter asked, unsheathing and sheathing his claws as he thought. turning to his herb store, he pulled out one small berry. The skin was a transparent green, but a liquid that looked turquoise filled its confines. "Plague Berries," he meowed, rolling it around under his paw gently. "One bite will kill you, or take three of the leader's lives. The only thing it is good for is curing the Plague. They never rot either, for some reason." He returned it to his store.

"I don't know what happened to your brother and sister, Deathnote. I gave you all each a berry as Elder told me to, and when I returned to your side an hour later, Sealkit and Graykit were missing. The bramble wall of my den was torn open, but nobody could remember a fox attack. They were thought to be dead. You were old enough to eat freshkill, thank goodness."

"So they may not be dead?" Deathnote asked, listening to the blood pounding in his ears. "They might be out there somewhere?"

Boneshatter sighed. "I doubt it."

But Deathnote's eyes were bright and hopeful.

Jadewhisper flicked her tail at Darkpaw and Ravenfeather. "The cat laying down next to Ravenfeather is Darkpaw. He's Honeywhisker's brother. He was hit by a two-leg monster and was forced to stay an apprentice a while longer. That's why his paw is twisted like that." she explained. 

Dawnshadow pricked her ears, "so its still a possibility they are still alive?" She felt a twinge of exitement, "you said it yourself, the answeres are usually there if you look hard enough, so I say we do some looking." she purred.

Tiger nodded, "does it really bother him?" she asked, "I mean, being different." She knew how he felt, not only was she a rouge, but her fur was an odd color. The icy-white a sharp contrast from the jet black of her stripes. It wasnt the same, but she supposed it earned her some double takes and wierd looks.

"StarClan is unusually silent," he muttered, returning to the moonpool. "Perhaps you are right. It is time you, Deathnote, Tiger, Batear and Ravenfeather looked for Sealkit and Graykit."

Deathnote was shocked. "Ravenfeather and Batear? What?" He asked another question, "Who's Tiger?"

"All will be answered in good time," he purred eerily. Deathnote left, confused.

"I'm not sure," Jadewhisper mumbled before stopping in front of Deathnote and Dawnshadow. "This is Tiger," she purred. "Tiger, this is Deathnote and Dawnshadow." 

Deathnote meowed a greeting, eyes lighting up as they settled on Tiger. So she was supposed to go with them? 

Tiger grinned, "nice to meet you both." she said with a dip of her head.

Dawnshadow looked at her once, so she's supposed to help us find Sealkit and Graykit? she wondered, "If you don't mind my asking, "Dawnshadow purred, voice soft, "but why are you in out camp?"

Tiger laughed, "well, thats actually an interesting story," she began, quickly filling in Deathnote and Dawnshadow on how Honeywhisker had stumbled upon her, and Ravenfeather had attacked her, to where she was now, trying to meet all the cats that made up StrikeClan.She prayed niether would ask about why Lonestar kicked her out, but she made it look like she didnt want to talk about her past.

"Well I think it's great that your here." Dawnshadow purred, "are you going to become a warrior of StrikeClan?" she asked.

Tiger shrugged, "I havent put much thought into it yet." she admitted.

"I'm glad you're here to," Deathnote said. He blinked and said mainly to Dawnshadow, "I'll be back; I'm going to go find Batear. You can take on Ravenfeather." He padded away, searching the camp for the she-cat.

Once he found her, he sat down next to her and meowed, "Hey Batear."

"I think you should," Jadewhisper purred. "So many people like you already, and you fit in perfectly."

~

Dawnshadow shot Deathnote a dirty look before padding over to Ravenfeather with a light purr, "hey there Ravenfeather." She said with a warm smile.

Tiger shrugged, "I will talk to Cougarfeather about it later." she said, voice distant.

Batear raised one eyebrow, "can I help you?" she asked Deathnote, the two of them werent exactly 'friends,' so she wondered about his motives for just approaching her and saying hello.

Deathnote frowned at her, looking deflated. This wasn't going too well so far. "Look," he meowed, "Could you listen to me? Just for a minute." He quickly explained everything that had happened that day up to the point where Boneshatter revealed that they were going to travel together. "I know it's weird because we've never really spoken before, but.. I think you're supposed to come with me and Dawnshadow to find Graykit and Sealkit."

Ravenfeather looked at her quizically, dragging his eyes away from Tiger. "Yes?" he said slowly, trying not to look agitated.

Jadewhisper purred. "That sounds great." She paused, and added after, "I wonder what their asking Batear and Ravenfeather?" 

((STFU! XD you cant expect to rp with COUGARFEATEHR for about a year(seriously, i got the character idea almost a full hear ago XD) and then change it ONCE XD))

Dawnshadow sucked in a deep breath, "Well, we need your help, we being me and Deathnote." she told him about what Elder had told them, and what Boneshatter had said, "And i guess Boneshatter thinks that you are one of the best cats to help with this." she said.

Tiger shrugged, "who knows. I'm not nosy enough to ask." she said with a yawn.

Batear twitched her ears, "interesting. But why would Boneshatter say that me, Ravenfeather, and the new rouge are the ones to help with this? How could we help?" she asked, tilting her head.

"You could use my watch skills," Ravenfeather said quietly, blinking a few times at her. "Alright, I'll go... as long as you promise Cougarstar and Mudsplash know nothing of this." He chuckled darkly and added, "Though, I doubt I'll be much help."

Jadewhisper chuckled. "I'll find out soon enough." She stretched out. "Want to continue our tour? There's still a few cats I want you to meet."

"I-I'm not sure," Deathnote said honestly. "Maybe they think we're all the best suited for the job." He frowned. "So will you do it? There's safety in numbers."

Batear nodded with a smile, "of course I will." she purred with a bright smile.

Dawnshadow nodded her head, "you have my word. I won't tell either, and I will tell Deathnote to keep his mouth shut too." she said, "and who knows, you are kind of dangerous, we might need you if things get bad." seh said with a wink.

Tiger nodded, "sure." she said, "as long as I get to meet Shadefang." she said quietly with a wink.
