Dawnshadow chuckled, "yeah, she told me you two had an interesting run-in earlier. I'm trying to figure out a way to explain this all to her, I mean, she jsut got here and all." she said with a shrug.

Batear flicked her tailtip, "It was kind of mean of you to ditch Dawnshadow with Ravenfeather." she said with a laugh.

Tiger scanned Shadefang over wtih an approving gaze, "nice to meet you both." She purred, voice as smooth as silk and as soft as a kits fur.

Eagletalon dipped his head and gave Tiger a nice smile, "nice to meet you." he purred, "I see my sister is already torturing you." he said with an amused laugh.

Shadefang chuckled softly, shaking his head lightly, "welcome to StrikeClan." was all he said.

"She's a strong she-cat," Deathnote purred. "Besides, she could spare a chunk of fur or two," he laughed.

Jadewhisper struggled to breath, dragging her eyes away from Shadefang. "Shut up Eagletalon," she managed weakly, scowling at him. She laughed lightly, unsure of what else to say.

"Allow me," Ravenfeather said calmly, getting to his paws. Before Dawnshadow could argue, he had made his way over to Tiger, Eagletalon, Shadefang and Jadewhisper.

Eyes searching hers, he meowed quietly and politely, "Excuse me, Tiger. I was wondering if we could speak alone for a moment." He ignored Jadewhisper's startled ex
pression.

Batear laughed, "I don't think she would like you saying so, I'm pretty sure she wants that pretty little pelt of hers to stay in perfect shape." she purred.

Tiger narrowed her eyes, "what could you possibly want?" she asked sharply, sttepping away from the rest of the cats. She glanced sideways to see Dawnshadow staring their way with wide eyes and a slightly open mouth, as if she was in shock.

Jadewhisper sat down between her brother and Shadefang. "I wonder what that's about," she chirped, purring slightly.

Ravenfeather chuckled idly. "I could want you to do my...friend a favor." Slowly, he explained everything that had happened to Deathnote and Dawnshadow. "So, basically, we're getting dragged along on this bogus adventure searching for a couple cats who may or may not be dead. Would you accompany us? Boneshatter has already predicted it."

"What's that supposed to mean?" Deathnote asked, laughing.  

"Forget it." Tiger hissed, fur puffing up, "I'm not going anywhere wtih you." she said angrily.((just to be difficult XD)) SHe spun and padded back over to Jadewhisper, "honestly, he has no shame." she said, rolling her eyes, she smiled to Jadewhisper, "that was a complete waste of a minute." she purred lightly in a joking manner.

Batear rolled her eyes, "Please, we all know that shes little miss hot stuff. Not that I dislike her, she's a wonderful cat, but a bit of, well, a priss." she shrugged, "its all good though."

Dawnshadow sauntered up to Ravenfeather, "so." she began, "how'd it go?" ((i can totally imagin her tone of voice as i type this XD sounding all matter-of-factly and I-told-you-so XD))

Ravenfeather rolled his eyes at Dawnshadow. "I never said I was finished," he told her patiently, getting back onto his paws. He followed Tiger and sat down, staring at her intently. "I believe we got off on the wrong start," he said slowly. "My name is Ravenfeather, though you probably know that by now."

Jadewhisper stared at him, confused. Her mouth was hanging open slightly. She couldn't remember the last time he'd actually spoke to a cat with some degree of politeness. 

"I would ask you again," he said slowly. "But it would be rather inappropriate in front of the others. It's not really a matter for theirs ears. We don't need them to run off to Cougarstar and tell on us; that would ruin everything."

{ That sounds like something completely different than what he's asking. :o He did that to confuse the other cats. } 

If Jadewhisper was confused before, she didn't know what she was now. She had no clue what was going on, but by the demanding, stubborn look in Ravenfeather's eyes she knew it must be important. "Maybe we should give them some privacy," she mewed to Shadefang.

Deathnote only chuckled lightly. "I guess you ARE right there," he said in a  pleasant tone. "But we'll all have to try and get along if we want to find Graykit and Sealkit." He sighed, stretching out slightly. "Ravenfeather is going to make that difficult to do..." 

Tiger flattened her ears to her head, "You could ask me again," she said sharply, "and i could tell you again, No. Deal."

Shadefang nodded, "brilliant idea." he purred, standing up andslinking away quietly.

Eagletalon flicked his sister's ear with his tail, "I'm going hunting, see you later." he purred, padding out of camp.

Batear laughed, "Ravenfeather? I don't think he's going to be the problem. Have you met Tiger? She may be small, but when she was half dead, she was still able to throw off Ravenfeather when he attacked her. She's a lot tougher than she looks."

"I think the two together is what I'm trying to enphasize," Deathnote mumbled. "They'll be fighting the whole way there and back."

Jadewhisper followed Shadefang quickly and quietly, only shooting one apologetic glance backwards at Tiger. She hoped that the rogue would understand.

"Or you could think about this rationally." Ravenfeather said, tail sweeping around his paws. "Go on a trip with some of the cats from the camp. If you can't grow to bond with us, then you can leave half-way through the trip and we won't bother you. Or, you can help Deathnote find his brother and sister, which would prove yourself to the Clan." He paused, and added, "Jadewhisper would want you to."

"And?" Ravenfeather. "What's your point? I'm not most cats. It takes more than throwing me to the ground to prove that you're a warrior. I've been thrown around before; its nothing new." Blinking harshly at her, he added, "I'm not asking because I want you there. I'm asking because Deathnote needs you there, and Boneshatter told him that you would be there."

Deathnote frowned, staring at Tiger and Ravenfeather in the distance. "What's he doing?" he said, a slight growl in his tone. "What's he saying to Tiger?" Standing up, he nudged Batear. "We should go check it out. This could go very wrong very fast."

Jadewhisper smiled. "How's the prey running?" she asked, feeling her fur grow warm and her paws prickle with anticipation. Smooth talking, she scolded herself. 'Hows the prey running'? You couldn't think of anything better to say? 

"You guys are lucky I respect Boneshatter enough to do this." she hissed, "Fine. I'll go. But I won't like it." hey pupils were narrowed into slits as she glared at him before turning and stalking off to go be alone for a little while so she could throw her tantrum elsewhere.

Batear shook her head, "nope, I don't think theres anything we could do." she watched Tiger stalk off, "hmm. I wonder how it went." she asked quietly.

"And luck?" Dawnshadow asked, padding up to Ravenfeather after Tiger had left.

__

Shadefand shrugged, "Alright for Greenleaf. I just hope it rains some more so there is more greens for the prey to eat, then it will be better." he replied calmly.

"She's coming," Ravenfeather purred confidently. "You shouldn't have doubted my persuasive skills." Standing up once again, he brushed past her and started to approach Batear and Deathnote.

"How'd it go?" Deathnote asked, repeating what Batear had just wondered. "Well, I hope?"

"She's coming." He said with a bored ex
pression. "When do we leave? The sooner the better."

Deathnote looked to Batear, hoping she'd be able to answer.

Jadewhisper smiled, unsure of how to continue conversation. "Do you like fishing?" she asked out of nowhere, hoping she didn't make a fool of herself in front of Shadefang.  

((doesnt wanna for some reason D: i think its cuz i dont wanna hafta kill off Adderstrike XD))

Batear twitched her abnormally large ears, "well, I heard Darkwing's warrior ceremony is tonight, so nobody will be paying attention to us." she purred.

"Perfect." Dawnshadow said with a grin, "I'm going to go talk to Boneshatter, to maybe learn a thing or two about herbs before we go, so one of us is useful in case someone gets hurt." she said with a wink. She padded to Boneshatter's den, hoping that the Medicine Cat already knew she was coming so she didnt have to explain why she was back so soon.

Shadefang laughed, "yeah, I do. Especially on hot days when I can cool off." he said with a light purr.

"Dawnshadow," Boneshatter said, blinking a few times at her as he pulled out one or two of some of his herb stores. "I *censored*ume you're here to try and learn a few herbs before you leave?" He yawned. "Come here, then..."

"Is she always that irritating?" Ravenfeather muttered under his breath, referring to Dawnshadow. "Gosh. Might as well go poison myself now before she accidently does."

Deathnote only shot him a dirty look. "Yeah. Batear is right. Tonight during Darkpaw's ceremony is perfect." He stretched out. "You'd both better go take a nap... we won't have time to sleep because we have to get out of StrikeClan territory before they notice we're gone.

Jadewhisper only laughed and bragged, "The biggest fish I've ever caught was about as long as half my tail. It could have fed five apprentices!"

"Then how come I never saw it?" Jadefeather teased. "What'd you do, eat it all by yourself?" She laughed.

"I agree. Ravenfeather can. I'm tired, and plus, I don't really feel like doing it anyway." Deathnote chuckled, and padded into the warriors den. He curled up in his nest, yawning delicately as he tried to fall asleep.

Ravenfeather sighed, frowning at the pair. "Fine," he muttered. "You can thank me later." He turned around and slowly followed Tiger's trail until it lead him straight to her. He sat down a little ways away, blinking at her.

"Tiger."

"I will prepare them for you before you leave," Boneshatter said. "When you get ready to leave, they will be waiting for you in the warriors den. But for now..."

He told her the best herbs for belly ache, tooth ache, rat bites, infection, where the best places to find cobwebs were, and anything else he thought was important. "StarClan be with you.." 

"No!" Shadefang said, "i shared it with my sisters." he smirked, "we could go try and catch a big fish if you wanted, they are called trout."

Tiger rolled her eyes, "oh joy. Can this day get any better?" she asked, turning to face Ravenfeather.

__

"Thank you Boneshatter, I'm sure Dreamsplash is very proud of you." she purred with a warm smiled before padding out of his den to go sleep before her journey.

"I'm sure she is too," Boneshatter whispered quietly as he returned to staring into his moonpool. "It's only a shame I cannot see her..."

Jadewhisper smiled fondly at him. "Maybe tomorrow; it's getting late and I heard that Darkpaw's warrior ceremony is going to be soon."

"I don't know what sick rumors your friends have been telling you," Ravenfeather said coldly, "but I'm not a killer. I've never killed a cat in another clan; I've never even laid claws on ten cats." He curled his lips. "We're leaving at sunset. Be ready to sneak out."

He disappeared into the forest, going to go sit by the river to think.
