Honeywhisker was still by the river as Ravenfeather arrived, she could feel that he was keeping a secret, "whats up?" she asked with a purr.

"Alright," Jadewhisper purred, feeling her heart swell. "Now let's go before we're late; Darkpaw would never forgive any of us." She blinked up at the darkening sky before chuckling.

Ravenfeather sat down, blinking at her unhappily. "I have to go with Deathnote, Tiger, Dawnshadow and Batear to go find a couple of missing cats," he mumbled. "We're leaving soon..."

Honeywhisker tilted her head, "but you are coming back right?" she asked.

Shadefang nodded, "Of course, he looked up at the sky, I wonder how exited Darkpaw is." he said with a laugh.

 "Very, I'd guess. It's been moons since his sister was made a warrior; the only thing holding him back was his leg." Jadewhisper made her way towards the highrock, where Darkpaw was sitting, beaming happily.

"Yeah," Ravenfeather meowed. "Yeah, I'm definately coming back." He stood up, silent for a moment. "I have something to tell you when we get back. But for now..." He rasped his tongue over her ear, purred, and then whirled around and sprinted back to camp as fast as he could manage.

Deathnote licked up the bitter leaves that were sitting in his nest. Boneshatter had put on in the nest of each cat travelling, and on near the entrance for Tiger. He was just waiting for the last cats to wake up and eat the herbs so they could leave.

Honeywhisker lookedup at the sky wtih a smile, the she realised that the sun was going down and sprinted back to camp. Shewould probe to her borhter that she did care. No matter what he thought. Her mind drifted back to Ravenfeather. She should have asked to go along, but he probably wouldnt have let her. She skidded to a halt just as Cougarfeather clled the clan to gather beneathHighrock for a Clan meeting.

"Thats our cue." Dawnshadow breathed, "you gusy ready for this?" she asked looking around at Batear, Deathnote, Tiger and Ravenfeather as he arrived. Butterflied fluttered in her belly and she was jumpier than a squirrel.

"As I'll ever be." Batear whispered solemly. Tiger just nodded her head.

Cougarstar looked around at her Clan, "We all know the story of how Darkpaw was hit by a twoleg monster, and how he had to train longer. But I believe he is now raedy to be a warrior." she purred, "Darkpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code, and become a StrikeClam Warrior until your last breath?" she asked.

"I do!" Darkpaw said loudly, quivering from head to toe.

Ravenfeather swallowed his herbs, practically vibrating he was purring so loudly. Deathnote only shot him a questioning look.

"We're both ready, I'm *censored*uming," Deathnote meowed. "Allright, now here's the game plan; I'll lead us all out, then Batear, followed by Tiger, then Dawnshadow, and then Ravenfeather will bring up the rear. If we all go out in a group someone will be bound to see us."

Cougarstar looked him square in the eye and said, "then from this day forward, you shall be known as Darkwing, warrior of StrikeClan." her voice rang clear and strong and the clan began to chant his name.

Honeywhisker didnt chant wtih the caln, but she did purr loudly and smile. No matter what he seemed to think, Honeywhisker did care about him. Even if it was only a little((XD))

Batear slunk out of camp a little while after Deathnote, and was suprised to find TIger already outside of camp, "how did you get out without any of us seeing you?" she asked in a hushed but surprised voice.

Tiger simply shrugged, "this isnt the only exit out of camp. I found a litle hole beside the warriors den to small for a cat of your size, but just perfect for me." she purred, "one of the perks of being itty bitty."

Dawnshadow padded out of camp silently, ears perked as she looked around for the other cats that were to go on the journey.

Darkwing purred, fluffing out his fur happily. Finally, he was a warrior! Getting to his paws, he started to limp towards the camp entrance to start his vigil.

Ravenfeather followed the group out, finally able to contain himself. He only looked at Deathnote and Batear expectingly, as if waiting for them to give a command. Then he blinked slowly at Tiger and Dawnshadow in turn.

"Er- let's go! We don't have much time!" Deathnote said, hoping they would listen to him. He turned his back to the camp he loved, and started to walk. Then he stopped. "Uh. Where do we look?"

The wind changed direction, whistling past his ears so it blew towards the Barn place.

"I don' know about you guys." Dawnshadow purred, "but I'm going this way." she said, bouding toward the barn place.

"hey! wait up!" Batear called, dashing after Dawnshadow.

Tiger chuckled and shook her head, but hun back a little ways.

Honeywhisker say down beside Darkwing, sitting vigil with him, like it should have been. They should have become warriors on the same day, but because of the twolegs, she was sitting vigil for the second time in her life.

Darkwing nodded at her, staring at the stars with a joyful heart. This was right.

Jadewhisper frowned, nosing Shadefang gently. "Have you seen Tiger? I can't find her. Or Ravenfeather. Or Deathnote, Batear and Dawnshadow." Her heart thudded in her chest.

~

Mudsplash narrowed her eyes, stalking towards the camp entrance. She'd watched the journeying cats leave; and now she was going to go find them and ask what they thought they were doing.

"I'm afraid I can't let you do that," Boneshatter rumbled, stepping on front of the deputy. "It's getting dark out; foxes, badgers and other things will be running about. You'd better be going back to your den."

Instead of listening to him, she took off, thundering past Honeywhisker and Darkwing. Her paws dug into the soft soil as she scented the air for the leaving cats.

Ravenfeather pricked his ears, then hissed and lunged at Tiger, giving her a hard shove with his shoulder. "Hurry up! Someone is following us!" Deathnote took off, paws pounding against the ground as he sprinted.

Ravenfeather, instead, stayed where he was to confront whoever was coming. The first drop of rain fell on his forehead, following by the crash of thunder above. "A storm...?" he whispered. 

Shadesang tilted his head, "last time I saw any of them, Tiger looked like she was about to rip out Ravenfeather's throat."

Tiger stood beside Ravenfeather, laguhing softly, "your ancestors are watching over us tonight." she said, looking up at teh sky, "It's Mudsplash. She will give up soon." she said with a sly grin, "I doubt she's stubborn enough to stay out in a storm. C'mon, lets get to the twoleg barn." she said.

Honeywhisker glanced at Darkwing, her eyes told him she was sorry, and she darted after Mudsplash, ignoring the rain that began to fall.

((HEYYY! im all jacvked up! I just got home from our final football game of the year(it is on a thursday b/c we made it to playoffs and our last season game has to be so many days before the first playoff game) AND WE WON!!! I stormed the field and tackled my bro who's like, an ah-mazin football player and plays a bunch of different positions on offense and defense! the players are like family, so now i smell like sweat and guys, nd my hair is all ruffled and to tell you the truth, I like it XD it feels like...home if that makes sense!))

Shadefang shrugged, "I'm pretty sure she can't take care of herself. Don't worry so much. She'll turn up eventually if she wants to be found." he said with a shrug

Tiger couldnt help the smile that played across her face, "well, we can always make her." she said, "I can be very pursuasive if I want to be." Her fur went from icy white to light gray as it clung to her body. She didnt mind though, pure adrenaline was pumping through her veins, and she felt perfect. She could see the cow pasture ahead and her paws seemed to get more speed.

Batear strained to listen above the storm, "I-i don't know. I can't hear them at all, the storm is too loud." she said, voice nervous.

Dawnshadow however, was entirely calm, "they will get here." she said, entirely sure of herself.

Honeywhisker cought up to Mudsplash and blocked the she-cats path, "what do you think your doing out here in a storm?" she asked the deputy.

"What do you think you're doing?" Mudsplash asked Honeywhisker. "I'm following Ravenfeather, Tiger, Deathnote, Dawnshadow and Batear. They left during your brothers warrior ceremony." Her tail lashed back and forth. "What are YOU doing out in a storm?"

"I guess your right," Jadewhisper said, curling up beside him. "I just hope she finds good shelter; it sounds like its really storming out there. Poor Darkwing."

Deathnote skidded to a halt, paws kicking up a small wave of muddy water. "We have to wait for them." he shouted over the thunder. "We can't just leave them behind; we'll never find Graykit and Sealkit like that!"

~

Heart thudding, Ravenfeather was taken by surprise as he lost his footing and slid sideways into a tree. A sickening crack, and pain flaring through his side made him sure he had broken a rib or two. "It's slippery!" he said, struggling to keep up with Tiger. His side throbbed.

((ughhhh. it was alongggg day! XD i stayed up REALLY night last night talkin to a bunch of football players about the game and had to go to school today XD))

"Trying to keep you from ruining everyone else's lives because you are unhappy with your own." Honeywhisker snapped, voice like a dagger, "Is it really any of your business what they are up to?"

Shadefang chuckled, "Of course I'm right." he looked out at the torrenting rain, "well, if he makes it through this, nobody can doubt his determination to be a warrior." he said.

Batear nodded nervously.

Dawnshadow sat down and wrapped her tail around her paws, "don't worry Deathnote." she said, "I said it before and I will say it again, they WILL get here."

Tiger slowed down a little bit and supported Ravenfeather with her shoulder, "hurry up! We are almost there, just a few more foxlenghts((sp?XD))!" he voice saunded a little desperate. She glanced over her shoulder, and was relieved to not see Mudsplash.
