Mudsplash deflated, eyes swimming with different emotions. "But what if she doesn't come back?"

Ravenfeather sat down, grimacing as pain flared through his side again. Cursing, he started to washed the mud and water out of his fur. 

"Everyone's here, and in one piece," Deathnote purred, blinked as he swept his eyes around at the others. "Excellent. Ravenfeather; how's your side? Are your ribs broken?" He stretched out, claws scraping on the floor of the barn. They'd followed Tiger and Ravenfeather in quickly.

"I think one is," he muttered. "But its fine." 

Mudsplash shook her head. "I don't know where they're going," she mewed. "But I hope they all come back soon."

"I don't need to rest," Ravenfeather mumbled, ruffling his fur. "But we should at least wait out the storm."

Deathnote paused for only a moment. "I'll go with you Dawnshadow," he said, standing up. "I could use a mouse or two."

"I'm pretty sure they would all like to come back home as quickly as possible." Honewhisker said quietly, "now lets get back to camp."

Dawnshadow grinned, "lets go then." she purred, turning back to explore the barn for the mice that she could smell.

Tiger sighed, "don't kid yourself Ravenfeather, you need rest. if I do, then you do to. We need to at least catch our breath." she said, laying back down and resting her head on her paws.

"Yes," Mudsplash said. "But first, let's go check the stream. I'm afraid that if it floods, all the prey will drown..."

Ravenfeather only sighed, laying down slowly in an attempt to keep from harming himself. "If you say so, Tiger," he grumbled. His tail tip twitched back and forth slowly as his eyes narrowed into slits.

Deathnote trotted after her, flicking his ears as they pas sed a pen with big, fleshy pink creatures in it. Pigs. "Should we go visit Elder?" he asked Dawnshadow, blinking. "Maybe he could help with Ravenfeather's ribs." 

Honeywhisker nodded, "but lets hurry, its as cold as leaf bare out here." she said, shaking her head.

"I do say so." Tiger breathed, closing her eyes and sighing again.

Dawnshadow nodded, "sure, lets hurry though, before Tiger or Ravenfeather gets suspicious or something.

Mudsplash nodded, jogging briskly towards the stream. She narrowed her eyes against the harsh wind that lashed at her fur. "I think its flooded!" she cried over the thunder to Honeywhisker. When she broke through the trees, her thoughts were confirmed. Water flowed over land that used to be dry; the stream had flooded its banks.

Ravenfeather only sighed, setting his head on his paws. It was going to be a long journey; but hopefully it wouldn't be too long. Honeywhisker was waiting for him.

Deathnote snorted. "I bet two mouse tails they're both sleeping right now. And they don't need to get suspicious. We'll just tell them the truth if they ask." He hopped onto the wall of the bull pen. It was pacing about in an angry manner, kicking its hooves against the ground. 

Honeywhisker looked around at the flooded stream, "this can't end well." She muttered under her breath, "THank StarClan our camp is on a hill. Let's get Cougarstar, she might know what to do!" she called over a loud crack of thunder.

As Tiger lay awake, she wondered what was waiting for her back in the Clan. She had no family, unlike the rest of them, and no silblings to bring back to where they belonged like Deathnote. Why was she here? A voice in the back of her head whispered, because you are jsut like them. You need a place to belong. And for now, that is here.

Dawnshadow Watched the bull, again oddly calm for being who she was, "What is the matter?" she asked the bull, as if he could answer her.

Dawnshadow nodded solemly, "But how will we get out?" she asked quietly.

Honeywhisker dipped her head once, then raced toward camp, past her brother and up to highrock, "Cougarstar!" she yowled, shocked by how loud her voice could be, "we need you! The river is flooded!"((Zomg >:D i have a genious idea for what happens next.))

If Cougarfeather had been sleeping, she was instantly alert, "what?!" she asked in  suprised voice.

"the storm has flooded the river, and Mudslpash is there right now, we need your help." Honeywhisker said quikly, panting slightly from ehr run.

Cougarstar closed her eyes and prayed silently to StarClan, Oakfeather, how can I do this? I'm not as fast as I used to be, and last time a river flooded, we lost Owlkit((throwin in a third kit, we are gonna saw Cougarstar had her kits outside of camp, and the storm killed Owlkit XD)) Help me.... She pleaded. Suddenly, there was a warm presence at her left side. She inahled through her nose and smelled the pesence of her lost mate. With a new confidence, she looked into Honeywhiskers wide, green eyes, "Take me there." she said.

Honeywhisker nodded her head, then the two raced out of camp toward the flooded river.

Mudsplash pulled a mouse from the water, setting back on land. She was working feverishly to preserve what life she could; it was bad enough the river was flooded. The last thing she needed was for the Clan to starve to death. She was panting when Cougarfeather and Honeywhisker arrived.

"The same way we got in;" Deathnote said confidently as he sat back on his haunches, ready to spring. "We pray to StarClan and hope everything works out." 

Cougarstar stopped midstep, remebering watching Owlkit drown, just out of her reach. She could feel Oakfeather's presence grow a little stronger, and she went to the waters edge and shook her head, "Its been dry for so long, the ground couldnt soak up the water fast enough." She reached out and snagged a large rabbit, which was thankfully alive. How ironic. She thought as the rabbit struggled to get free of her jaws, usually we hunt them, but now we are saving them. She let the wet rabbit free and it scampered off.

Honeywhisker Looked into the black water, "what can we really hope to do?" she asked, "theres so much water, and only the three of us."

Suddely, there was a bright flash of lightning. It struck a nearby tree and it tipped toward Honeywhisker. She opened her eyes wide and stared at it is it fell. THen a rush of Tawny fur slammed into her side and both she and Cougarstar were knocked into the icy water...

Dawnshadow nodded. As soon as the bull faced away from them, she darted toward the hole in the wall, dodging the bulls sharp hooves gracefully. She slipped through the hole then spun and waited for Deathnote, hoping that he made it safetly.

"Cougarstar! Honeywhisker!" Mudsplash wailed, harsh amber eyes bright and startled. She lunged into the water, head dunking under as her fur became waterlogged. Ice seeped through her skin. She paddled, struggling to keep them in view. Her mouth closed on Honeywhisker's scruff, and she started to tug her towards the shore.

Deathnote stumbled, making him only a moment too late. He hissed in shock, bolting between the bulls legs in an attempt to avoid being trampled. He made it to Dawnshadow's side, fur standing on end. "I think I like cows much better..."  

Honeywhisker grasped the shore wiht her claws, shivering violently, "Cougarstar!" she called, but the tawny she-cat was nowhere to be seen. Then she noticed the rain had stopped, and the sky had cleared.

Cougarstar foungt to get her head above water. She could hear nothing but the current pounding in her ears as she was spun end over end, not knowing up from down. Her lungs felt like they were about to burst. Then she saw the moonlight. She pushed her self toward it. Her head broke the surface and she took in a deep gulp of air.

Cougarstar coughed as she inhaled some water. A large branch was in the water ahead of her and he clung to it for dear life. She was too scared to call for help, and too cold to move. She closed her eyes and a silent tear rand down her cheek.

Dawnshadow laughed nervously, "we made it didnt we?" she said, "StarClan is watching us tonight." She looked ahead nervouly, "Elder?" she called softly.

"Yes?" Elder called, back turned away from them once again. A frail, thin golden she-cat was at his side. She had dark russet stripes and white paws. "I wasn't expecting you two back so soon."

"Stay here!" Mudsplash gasped, lungs on fire. She scrambled back into the churning black waves, calling out for Cougarstar. Her movements started to get weaker and weaker, but she forced herself to stay afloat; she had to find Cougarstar. " Cougarstar!! Yowl if you can here me! Mew, meow, something!"

Dawnshadow smiled with relief, "thank StarClan you're here, I was worried you would have left." she said with a sigh.

Cougarstar seemed to come back to reality, "Mudsplash?" she called, "over here! Swim to this branch. Its stuck in the mud on the shore. We can climb out here." she realised that although it felt like she was yowling, her voice was rather quiet and weak.

Elder purred, turning to face them. The she-at turned as well, revealing bright blue eyes and a battle-scarred muzzle. "Wren and I don't leave the barn unless we need. Which isn't often; there are many mice around these parts." 

Deathnote only smiled, breathing starting to slow. "Our friend, Ravenfeather, broke a rib. We were wondering if you could help him."

Wren spoke; her voice was light and gentle. "I will go. Tonks isn't feeling well." She got onto her paws. Elder glared at her in an embar*censored*ed manner.

"Your name is Tonks?"
